Tonight was a good night. It's usually hit or miss. We got there to drink some beer and wound having the trio dip and wings and the loaded dog. I have never been a big fan of BWW but my go to is now the loaded dog. I literally eat one for 6$ and I am full. The loaded it my favorite. The sauce is mixed honey mustard and wild sauce. BWW is actually one of my favorite restaurants for some weird reason. But after being in town taking care of sick parents for a week I was ready for a much needed break and told my mom I was meeting a 'friend' from high school for dinner so I could escape. It was Sunday night game night and the place was packed. I sat at the bar since my 'friend' from high school was actually a tall Bud Light. There was only one bartender handling all four sides of the bar (which was full) along with pouring for servers. She was working her butt off and when she finally asked what I wanted I freaked out even though I knew what I wanted. I planned on eating, but she was so busy that I finished my tall beer and even waited a while before she could get back around. I could tell she wasn't happy so I told her it was too stressful in there so I left and went to Hooters - where they were properly staffed and nobody was running around like a maniac. Emily, by far, was the best B-Dubs server I've ever encountered. That said, as an animal lover I applaud BWW's decision to let the chickens they use die of old age. Doordash gave us a refund but we want Buffalo Wild Wings to own up to their mistake and for them to better educate themselves on doing an entire overlook to make sure NO foreign objects are inside their products. And when the staff was quite obviously doing the end of day cleaning and talking about the host duties I asked when closing time was.
