The jalapeño popper burger, add green Chili's! Let's eat!
    Garry H.

So, Mulligan's is the clubhouse at a par 3 golf course. They tore down the old crappy building and built this really nice building. Bar on one side, restaurant on the other. Big TVs on every wall. We started with chips, salsa, and queso. Very good! Steve said you have to try the steak fingers. He and Mendy did. Glenda went for the chicken fingers. Me? The jalapeño popper burger, and add green chilies while your at it! See the picture! It was SO good! The owner stopped by and talked With us. Said the meat is from their ranch, their cows. Cool! It really was good. Lots of selections on the menu. All the burgers have golf names! If your looking for a good meal and a sports bar, this might be your place. We will be back!

    Hand battered spicy steak fingers

Food is great! Everything is hand battered and made to order. Sports bar atmosphere with TVs everywhere but also have a great patio and outdoor area, driving range, sand volleyball, and bean bags. Definitely one of my go to spots

Nice, friendly servers, a darn good cheese burger. Nothing fancy here, just a relaxed atmosphere and good food.

Casual. We sat at the bar and our bartender was amazing! He was funny and attentive despite being very busy! Service: The restaurant was so busy with diners even at 8:30 PM on a Saturday evening. I did not expect it to be this busy in my head. My husband and I sat at the bar since that was open seating and there were no sit down tables available inside or on the patio. The restaurant will add you to the waitlist if you'd like! Food: My husband and I shared the deviled eggs appetizer, and "the burger" with grilled jalapeños and pepper jack cheese. The deviled wggs (satan's huevos) were good, and spicy because we chose the "hellfire" option. The burger was huge! I'm glad my husband I split it because there was no way I'd finish that burger on my own! We both left content and not stuffed.

We looked at the menu online prior to coming and knew that we both wanted to try the cheese steak, so this was a bit of a bummer. They waitress who was very attentive told us that we can't order from the full menu for another 30 minutes so we decided to wait rather than leave. Listen, I get it the idea of having a different menu for brunch, but why not post it on your website and state the specific times for each menu? Also, what difference does 30 minutes make? They couldn't fire up the grill 30 minutes early? It wasn't very busy. Anyways, now for the good part: When we were finally allowed to order our sandwiches they were absolutely amazing. The steak was high quality and the gooey cheese had a ton of flavor. What wasn't amazing however was the bill. $20 for a sandwich and a small portion of fries in Abilene is absolute insanity. What's even crazier is we were charged extra for a side of ranch! I understand you get what you pay for, and there's no arguing the quality of the sandwich was top notch, but at the end of the day it's still just a sandwich. If you're good with dropping nearly $60 (including tip) on lunch, then this is your spot. For me, I'll take my business elsewhere.

I've seen more than a few places of this sort, most notably the Fuddrucker's chain in Houston. A predominantly burger menu with other options, sides, milkshakes, desserts, etc. where you order your meal at a counter, fill up your drink at a station, and sit at big wooden tables, and run your little buzzer back to pick up your food. They have a great vibe that really seems to fit the area, and it looked like there was a playground area where families could bring their kids for a good time. Prices are a bit higher than I'd like-- it cost me almost $18 for a burger, a side, and a drink-- but it was still worth a visit. The only reason that I didn't give them the full five stars is that the service was a bit slow. I was waiting surprisingly long for a burger considering how fast some other orders came out, and it took a while to track someone down to get a to go box for my leftover side.

I ordered the onion rings, the whole reason I came here, and they were made just like my favorite hotdog spot back home in NY. There are so many burgers to choose from, and I'll 100% be back to try the mushroom Swiss next. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our trays were picked up right away to give us more space, and someone was cleaning tables quickly after other guests finished their meals. Everything felt clean and well taken care of. I'm really glad I finally came here and I'll definitely be back.
