I've never been to their location on East Cesar Chavez, but this location on Burnet does offer takeout. Just be prepared for the automatic 20% service fee on takeout orders from Tock. In fact, the restaurant uses Tock for reservations (of large parties) and takeout orders. If dining in, a 3.5% wellness and fair wage fee is assessed on the subtotal. It seems odd that the takeout fee exceeds the dine-in fee. It's located in the same small plaza as Lick's, Finley's, and Barley Swine. There's a front parking lot. And a back parking lot. But as far as I can tell, one does not simply drive from the front lot to the back lot, as they are disconnected by car. You'd have to get onto Burnet Rd, then get onto Burnet Lane to reach the back. But on foot, it's totally doable. If the back lot is full, street parking exists. A portion of the front lot is used for valet parking for Barley Swine in the afternoon and evening. I ordered Today's Mozzarella and a Calabrese Pizza, to go, using their Tock ordering system. A time limit is in place when ordering in order to maintain your pickup time. This is understandable, because in their restaurant there is only one small pizza oven, in the middle of the restaurant floor. They also sell pizza dough. Pick up was easy, sort of. Park, enter, look around for a staff member (since there is no one stationed at the front to handle incoming customers), state that you're picking up, then grab and go. Bring everything home, possible re-warm some pizza in the oven, and it'll still taste amazing. They have very nice red sauce. The dough is yummy, though it'd be nice to have fewer scorch marks on the bottom. Their mozzarella with sweet peppers, oil, and mint could also be scoffed down repeatedly. The cheese packaging was great. The pizza box packaging--less so. The pizza went directly into the cardboard pizza box, cut, which meant that the juices and oils seeped into the cardboard. If left to sit long enough, those liquids will leak through the box to the exterior. Other places typically have an additional barrier in place between the pizza and the cardboard which will help absorb those liquids. Oh yeah, their happy hour seems like a good deal--half off pizzas and certain drinks. When dining-in, we decided on the burrata, followed by the potato pie. Service was quite amiable and informative. The environment was quite busy, with seating in close quarters with other parties. Expect to listen to your neighboring table's conversations. The burrata here was a bit disappointing. It came with golden beets, mint, walnut, and thick slices of bread. When cutting it open, there was no burst as expected. Instead, it just deflated. Sad. It could be saved with more mint leaves. Nonetheless, I would instead recommend Today's Mozzarella over the burrata. On the other hand, the potato pie was satisfying to eat. Unfortunately, their oven still has a tendency to leave soot on the bottom of the pizza, such that you will notice the bitterness. Bufalina Due is a great place for happy hour! To me that is the best time to go - it's 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM every day and dine in only where the pizzas are all HALF off and drink wise it is 1/2 off bottles under $100 and $8 wine and $6 craft beers. It's most worth it for sure for the half of pizzas. We went on a Sunday with a group of 4 of us - we arrived at 4:45 PM and were seated by 5:10 PM so about 25-30 minute wait. They have limited parking in the front and the back, but there is also street parking nearby. I would recommend if you're a bigger group to go early to get a table as the space is definitely cozy and the big tables are often filled. We got the vodka arabiatta pizza which really wasn't spicy at all, but the crust was nice and thin with just a little bit of fluff. More like a Neapolitan style pizza. We also had mushroom with caramelized onion which was also really good which surprised me as I am usually not a white pizza fan. Both pizzas came out perfectly cooked and not charred which I appreciated. For 4 people we got 5 pizzas (and our group included 2 men) and that fed us well, but not enough for left overs. The pizza was great! Now would I go back and pay full price when I know that it's half off during happy hour? I probably would say no I think it's definitely worth it more during happy hour. Had I have known this I would've showed up a little earlier to make sure we got seated during happy hour. We cut it really close but ended up getting our order in before 5:30. It's a nice spot for pizza and wine and I would definitely come for happy hour but I felt the pizzas were a little pricy outside of happy hour. I was surprised there weren't more pizzas with meat or the option to add meat or other toppings. The toppings also weren't spread out very far out so you end up with a lot of crust at the end of each slice. If we hadn't gotten the Calabrian butter (which is spicy), I wouldn't have had anything to eat the crust with. Speaking of crust, the crust is pretty chewy but very thin so one pizza is definitely a personal serving size. Otherwise, the ambience is nice and service was standard. I think Bufalina Due is pretty overrated. I was really excited to try because I've heard so many good things about their HH, but I didn't really love anything that my friends and I ordered. We got the burrata, and the actual burrata + bread was good except that it came with butternut squash, which I thought was a really odd pairing. I usually like something lighter and more refreshing like tomatoes or peaches, and the bread + the squash just felt like a really heavy pairing. We got the rigatoni to share, and it was a really mid pasta. The actual noodles are quite nice, but the sauce, which I'd say is a huge component of the dish, was heavy and one-dimensional. We also got the taleggio pizza, and that was my favorite of the items we shared. It did feel like a very standard pizza, and in general, I don't think their pizza is that great. They don't cut the pizzas well enough so we're having to touch other slices to yank apart the pizzas, and they tear poorly because they don't make deep enough incisions. Also, the actual crust and bread part of the pizza is so thin that the sauce makes the bread incredibly soggy and moist. The pizza that I was the most excited for and probably felt the most let down by was fresca. There was so much arugula and not enough prosciutto, and again, they didn't do a good job of slicing the pizza so we were tearing apart pizza slices and were unable to see where the actual cuts were due to all of the extra arugula. read more

They also offer valet parking plus plenty of parking in the back (street and lot). They do not accept reservations, so make sure your group arrives on time, as they won't seat you until everyone arrives. Seating is communal (long tables) along with smaller tables that are spaced out. Vibes are darker and more intimate than their sister location, Bufalina, making it the perfect date night or tea spill kind of setting. Despite that, there were quite a few families with smaller children dining in. Now the food - My faves are the Margherita and the Potato, but honestly, all their pies are a hit. Their crust is thin and fluffy with the perfect chewy bite. Their sausage pizza is a tad on the saltier side, so def order their burrata and foccacia to level it out. I do believe their cheeses are made in house (correct me if not!), and quite delicious. To wrap things up, split their olive cake - it's surrounded with applesauce which we were hesitant about at first, but the warming flavor tied in with the ice cream it comes with...perfection. 5/5 happy hour spot! read more
