From day 1 she broke everything down and explained how the storage system there would work. We used their storage for 6 months. Not once did we have a bad experience to make us feel like our stuff was not safe. The storage is set up by containers and whenever you need to take something out of storage all you need to do is call stacy and give her a heads up and your stuff will be ready by the next day for you to go grab whatever you need. We had to move in to our new apt by 01 April and usually places are quick to say that it will take forever to have our stuff moved out to try and get us to pay for an additional month. Not NY Self Storage...call about 3 or 4 days in advanced and it was ready to be moved out..How much better can it get? Well... The movers one in specific (Vlad) was super helpful. He saw my fiance had no help whatsoever to move all the stuff inside the apt because all her friends had not arrived yet. What did he do? He helped unpack the containers. He did not have to do that but he sure did. This is an amazing business and i can't see it closing anytime soon because of how professional and amazing the workers are. Thank you Stacy and Vlad. She was always upbeat and personable in her communication with us and displayed a lot of patience as we updated the moving inventory and schedule leading up to our move. We couldn't have asked for better responsiveness and customer care! Moving day was a long affair, but Alex and his crew gave it their all until the bitter (and very late) end. They arrived early and were polite and professional throughout the day, even when they faced a two-hour drive back to the city after finishing the move-in at 9:00 pm! We ordered a pizza for them before they left, and they couldn't have been more appreciative. All in all, we are pleased with our choice to use Asata for our move. The service we received at the price we paid definitely fit what we were looking for from a moving company. We will definitely consider them for future moves!

They were even able to refer me to a great storage company. I have to be honest. At first, I was frantic, but their staff were really professional. Apparently, they've dealt with many client in this type of emergency before because they were able to help calm me down LOL The moving crew they sent me were so friendly and easy to work with. I can't describe how grateful I am to everyone at this company. They helped me out on such short-notice and were able to make my emergency move hassle free. I'll definitely be using these guys again when I have to move out of storage, and I've been recommending them to everyone since my move. A+ Movers!

After moving from one apartment to another at a distance of about 1 1/2 miles they wouldn't take things off the truck until I gave the movers a huge tip for the movers. There were three guys and they wanted $500.00. My wife was pregnant at the time and they had no problems hassling and bullying us about the tip. I almost called the police but decided to pay. 4. Unusually large amount of things were broken. If it was porcelain or ceramics (including family heirlooms) it was damaged. If it was wood it was dented. When we mentioned this to them they didn't give us the time of day. We couldn't of had a worse experience. Correction for some reason Yelp says my location is San Francisco Calif. We are renovating our home and needed to send our large items to storage and the rest of the contents of our home into a POD on our property. When the movers arrived, the POD wasn't there yet, so they actually ended up moving those items twice with zero complaints. It was a Saturday, and they sent 4 guys (after reading some reviews there is no doubt, this was the A team). They thoroughly wrapped and handled all of our furniture perfectly, and we have some HUGE pieces. No complaints. They were professional and personable. I won't deny that we got the B team for the move back, and I only say that because they did a fair share of complaining (amongst themselves), but they still did a fantastic job. We weren't quite ready for some of the pieces and they were nice enough to leave them wrapped in the moving pads so that they are protected from our ongoing construction. They kindly put everything where I asked them to and nothing was damaged. Dina in the office was awesome. Always responsive and helpful. I would 100% recommend Tiger Moving.

Overall, I had a good experience with Mayflower (who used Molloy Bros. as their agent), and I'd be…read morelikely to use them if I needed movers again. Both the loading and unloading crews were very friendly and helpful. They showed up on time (in fact, the unloading crew was a little early) and did their jobs well. I also liked a lot of the features Mayflower had to offer (ex.- personalized website, instructional videos for packing), but some things could have been executed better. For ex., I had my original estimate done virtually, instead of having an adjuster come out to my home. This actually went very smoothly and worked quite well once it was underway. However, I had some difficulty scheduling the appointment in the first place. (One person told me I had an appointment for someone to come to my home; the next person told me no one was available, so we planned to do the estimate virtually; then the person who did my estimate seemed to have had my appointment recorded for a different time than I was told.) I also didn't get clear instructions/guidance re: how the virtual estimate would work (even when I called to ask) before it happened. This was perhaps the most puzzling (and annoying) thing about my experience: Mayflower assigned one person to be my "move coordinator." It seemed the point of this was so that there would be one person I could contact with any problems/questions, one point person I could always reach no matter what stage the move was in. I thought this was a great feature BUT over the course of my move, about *four different people* were identified to me, at one point or another, as my move coordinator. This partly defeated the purpose of having a move coordinator (I wasn't always sure who to call; I'd call one person and then get contacted by someone else, etc.). Some of my property also got damaged. A floor lamp got its base bent and my piano keyboard got a crack in its plastic casing. Several of my boxes were crushed and books were bent, though most things within the crushed boxes themselves were fine. I have a claim pending about the damaged lamp, so I don't know yet how that will turn out. But, overall, I'd say the movers did a pretty good job, given that it was a cross-country move.

They were wonderful, helpful pleasant, on time I would certainly recommend them to anyone.read more
