They arrived early and were polite and professional throughout the day, even when they faced a two-hour drive back to the city after finishing the move-in at 9:00 pm! We ordered a pizza for them before they left, and they couldn't have been more appreciative. All in all, we are pleased with our choice to use Asata for our move. The service we received at the price we paid definitely fit what we were looking for from a moving company. We will definitely consider them for future moves!

Both the loading and unloading crews were very friendly and helpful. They showed up on time (in fact, the unloading crew was a little early) and did their jobs well. I also liked a lot of the features Mayflower had to offer (ex.- personalized website, instructional videos for packing), but some things could have been executed better. For ex., I had my original estimate done virtually, instead of having an adjuster come out to my home. This actually went very smoothly and worked quite well once it was underway. However, I had some difficulty scheduling the appointment in the first place. (One person told me I had an appointment for someone to come to my home; the next person told me no one was available, so we planned to do the estimate virtually; then the person who did my estimate seemed to have had my appointment recorded for a different time than I was told.) I also didn't get clear instructions/guidance re: how the virtual estimate would work (even when I called to ask) before it happened. This was perhaps the most puzzling (and annoying) thing about my experience: Mayflower assigned one person to be my "move coordinator." It seemed the point of this was so that there would be one person I could contact with any problems/questions, one point person I could always reach no matter what stage the move was in. I thought this was a great feature BUT over the course of my move, about *four different people* were identified to me, at one point or another, as my move coordinator. This partly defeated the purpose of having a move coordinator (I wasn't always sure who to call; I'd call one person and then get contacted by someone else, etc.). Some of my property also got damaged. A floor lamp got its base bent and my piano keyboard got a crack in its plastic casing. Several of my boxes were crushed and books were bent, though most things within the crushed boxes themselves were fine. I have a claim pending about the damaged lamp, so I don't know yet how that will turn out. But, overall, I'd say the movers did a pretty good job, given that it was a cross-country move.

From day 1 she broke everything down and explained how the storage system there would work. We used their storage for 6 months. Not once did we have a bad experience to make us feel like our stuff was not safe. The storage is set up by containers and whenever you need to take something out of storage all you need to do is call stacy and give her a heads up and your stuff will be ready by the next day for you to go grab whatever you need. We had to move in to our new apt by 01 April and usually places are quick to say that it will take forever to have our stuff moved out to try and get us to pay for an additional month. Not NY Self Storage...call about 3 or 4 days in advanced and it was ready to be moved out..How much better can it get? Well... The movers one in specific (Vlad) was super helpful. He saw my fiance had no help whatsoever to move all the stuff inside the apt because all her friends had not arrived yet. What did he do? He helped unpack the containers. All Around Trucking provided unprofessional and unsanitary services during which they did not meet…read moredeadlines, violated the terms of our contract, broke furniture and personal belongings, and moved my items carelessly and in a chaotic and disorganized fashion. I would not recommend hiring them. I've listed a subset of the issues below. Damage to belongings and chaotic process. All Around Trucking left a significant amount of furniture and boxes in the incorrect location of my new house and haphazardly. Items were physically crushed during the move. Items that did not have any relationship to one another were packed in the same box while items that were related to one another were frequently packed in different boxes. In fact, various lamps arrived and were deliberately left in multiple pieces in different rooms across my new house with certain components missing. Missing personal belongings. This includes two outdoor statues and a portion of a glass desk. Home damage. All Around Trucking caused physical damage to the floors and walls of the house we moved into by aggressively and carelessly banging boxes and furniture into the walls and floor. Timing. All Around Trucking was contractually bound to completely pack the house we moved from on Friday. However, the movers worked approximately 4 hours on Friday, did not complete the job, and left early. They came back the next day only to complete the move in a disorganized fashion since they were rushed and didn't have enough time to do everything. They also behaved in an unsanitary manner. Movers. The movers (who I tipped well) affirmatively said some of the furniture wouldn't fit in certain rooms. They dumped furniture, boxes, and other belongings wherever was convenient for them. The movers also (incorrectly) alleged that a couch, a treadmill, and an elliptical machine would not fit in the basement, so they left such belongings chaotically in my garage. I needed to hire a separate moving company at additional cost to complete the job, in addition to doing certain of the work myself. The movers also behaved disrespectfully. They left garbage, including food, wrappers, drinks, and other trash in several rooms of both the house we moved from and the house we moved to. They used the bathroom, yet did not flush the toilet - disgusting. I needed to hire a professional to clean up the mess the movers made. They left family photographs and other important mementos, as well as my primary filing cabinet, in the house we moved from. All Around Trucking failed to comprehensively and correctly move my furniture and belongings. I am 71 years old. I hired All Around Trucking to simplify my move. They complicated it, causing extra expense and significant emotional stress in the proce
