I've been a member ever since my first visit and I've never had a bad experience. I've tried almost every wine they have on their menu and there is NOT a bad one! There is a wine for every kind of wine lover on their menu and I am elated that they now have bubbles. Every single one of the staff that I've encountered has been beyond accommodating and gracious! They make you feel welcomed and never pretentious (like some of the wineries around town). I've been wine tasting in Napa, South Africa, Australia, France, Spain and a few I'm forgetting and the service I've received here is definitely top 3! I love that the atmosphere here is laid back and welcoming. You can come as you are, wine expert or newbie and you will be welcomed just the same. Do yourself a favor and just visit!

The actual winery is in Washington, but I would still consider that local. The number of wines offered was impressive. They had a large selection of whites, reds, and an even larger selection of sweet wines. We each did a tasting which offered five samples so that we could try more of the wines. I liked everything I tasted, but my favorite was the Pear Riesling. All of the wines were smooth and had nice flavor. The employee that did our tastings was friendly. He knew a lot about the winery and the wines we were tasting. He made conversation while we tried our wines and added to the tasting experience. The wine tasting room is on the small side, but was comfortable and clean. There is a tasting counter and then an area of food and other items for sale. Some of the wines for purchase are already refrigerated which was nice.

You get to taste 5 different wines, from an extensive list, and the tasting fee is waived if you buy a bottle. At this point, many of the grapes for their wines are sourced from eastern Washington, and notably Columbia Valley. Standouts for me were the Smoky Nor'wester, a Bordeaux Red Blend; and the Surfer Syrah. The Syrah was good and peppery, but on par with other readily available Columbia Valley Syrahs, so I went with a bottle of the smooth and balanced Smoky Nor'wester (hint: the name doesn't describe the flavor). My wife really enjoyed the "Rapture of the Deep", a sparkling cranberry wine. We came home with a bottle of that, too. If you are visiting Seaside, and enjoy wine, I would highly recommend stopping in for a visit.

My friend passed away recently and was married here so she wanted to get bottles of her favorite wines. There were 2 people working and he just set the tasting wines down (which were tiny samples in tiny wine carafes), mumbled what they were without pointing which was which and practically ran. Since we were actually drinking wine, our glasses were full so we had to drink from the carafe, which felt a bit tacky plus they are reds we were trying to actually taste... I realize drag Bingo is also happening but a tasting glass to give some aeration to the two wines is helpful. It was such a wonderful way to spend the afternoon. The few annoyances we had, I imagine were likely from them having to navigate a larger group. It is so nice having a place like this so close!
