Food is delicious! Absolutely no complaints! Get the blackened catfish ponchatrain over dirty rice .... yes lawd. Next time I would be leary about bring older folks or children. I came on a Tuesday at 7:45 pm. There was only one other table filled so the service was great to me. Food came out fast and fresh. I had the swamp water which was good but not on the sweet side. The service is A1 our bartender was Rico, and he was really nice and made our drinks soo good! But the best part of the restaurant is the vibes! The location is bustling and a nice area to walk around. The parking lot they have is utterly ridiculous so minimum amount to marking for 1-2 hours ranged from 16-20 dollars or utilize street parking which we couldn't find. The best I have had in a restaurant outside of Louisiana. However, the miss is on the chicken. It is never spicy. Like never. It is fried nice, juicy and crispy but never spicy. Now, I am a fan of fried green tomatoes and theirs is pretty good but I have had better. I don't like it when the crust falls off. But what makes the place worth going is the staff. Don't walk, RUN to Bucky's Moonshine ya'll!! The experience was exceptional from beginning to end. They don't take reservations on the weekends, but the wait was not long on Sunday afternoon. For my appetizer, I had the boudin balls, they were flavorful and delish! My entree was the chicken and jalapeño waffle. It was something different but I enjoyed the chicken tenders more than the waffle. I would definitely return because all of my friends' dishes were super good.
