Everything about this restaurant screamed they need to close it. The pregnant waiter was presentable in appearance however she did not have great customer service and she stole $10 from my tab. She tried to keep the money for a tip and was not expecting for us to ask for it. I requested the manager (Robert) to review the camera footage he then stated, "Reviewing the camera footage is a waste of his time" and he gave us the $10 back. My boys and I went to this establishment yesterday (4 total). We arrived during a window that wasn't overly busy. There was a Hispanic guy who had to be like mid 20's who walked us to the back of the restaurant. He saw a couple sitting at a table and told them that they weren't supposed to be there. He made that couple move to a separate table. We asked if we can be sat in the main lobby near the bar so we can watch the tv's. He sits us at the top, and says someone will be with us. We sat there for about 30 min with LITERAL no service. The owner/general manager, other servers walked directly past our table several accounts and made no effort to acknowledge us. We asked for menus from one server, and she said oh yeah give me a second. Then completely ignored us. Around the 30 minute mark the general manager (older guy, short, wearing a hat) sends over the same guy who sat us at our table when we initially walked in. He asks us who sat you here, we were confused. We were like you did, he then says it wasn't me. He says "I'm not high or anything, so I'd know". We gave him a full break of down and he still denied that it was him. Now this place isn't the biggest establishment. There also aren't a ton of employees. Plus given the fact that the only men that were walking the floor was either the owner/general manager & the guy who sat us. It's not hard to get the two confused. Instead of actually providing us service within that moment, he basically stood there and made it seem like we had to get up and leave. So instead of arguing going back-and-forth after the initial 30 minutes, we just got up walked out no issues then as I'm leaving the general manager/owner says have a good day on our way out. Which felt more condescending than anything else This was extremely irritating because instead of providing the level of service that they should have. They ignored us and then tried to make it seem like we walked in sat ourselves which the majority of restaurants don't allow that to happen. So it wasn't like we walked in with the idea of. The best I have had in a restaurant outside of Louisiana. However, the miss is on the chicken. It is never spicy. Like never. It is fried nice, juicy and crispy but never spicy.
