Not a bad slice here...stopped in after picking up some bird seed at WBU down the row. Quick service, plenty of places to sit. Pizza was a tad greasy but I did order pepperoni. Medium to thin style pizza crust with some chew and a little crisp. It's out of my "range" since I'm over in Chalfont but wouldn't rule it out if I was in the area and craving a slice. read more

I think you may want to go back to being more casual. We ordered a salad, wings & a cheese steak & we waited 45 mins. We needed to be out of there in an hour. I stopped in over the holidays in mid December for takeout on my way home. My wife and kids were out for the night so I stopped to get a chicken parm dinner with pasta to take home. The staff took my order upon walking in at the pizza counter, I then took at seat in the lobby to wait for my food. I waited about 20-25 min on and off my cell phone which was fine, until the owner looks over the counter and says hey boss what did you order to find out they didn't start making my food yet. I ended up leaving with my food about 10 min later which was good and why I have to give them 3 stars (1 star for service/5 stars for the food). I probably won't be back since I have other options closer to home. read more

Really interesting and tasty pizza, but either they don't have enough help OR they have the wrong person on the phone. We needed delivery as we are sick and we live 10 minutes away. The woman on the phone said, "I'm not sure if I am supposed to take this order", so my husband got irritated and told her he would come and pick the pizza up. She hung up on him. When he called back, he simply placed an order and she took it. We will think twice about ordering here again. I must emphasize that the pizza is good, but nothing is good enough to put up with a grumpy rude order taker. Employees need training! read more

Once the busiest spot around on Friday and Saturday. Not so much now that the ownership has changed. Does not have that personal feel. Entire staff seems on edge. They are trying to go upscale, but it is not working. Food quality and portions vary now. I hope this is not the beginning of the end! You can do worse, but they have done better. Pizza is good but expensive. Restaurant is nice. Believe it or not though, they do not take credit cards. They charge the highest prices in the area yet the owners won't offer their customers the convenience of plastic. Their crust is the best pizza crust I've had in a place that isn't Italy. They have some unique, tasty pizzas, that actually have flavor and not just loads of grease. My favorite, and my family's favorite (minus my two sisters who claim to detest pizza) is the white pizza with spinach, garlic, mozz and I think feta. Their sicilian is great too, a huge pie for $12.50 (used to be under $10, thanks shitty economy!) with fluffly, crispy crust that somehow doesn't get soggy beneath the generous mound of sauce and cheese. One star off because I've had my order messed up several times and tried to talk to them to fix it, but they wouldn't hear of it. No matter, the free garlic knots usually win me over anyway. read more

Been going here for 11years with no complaints. Their pizza is amazing the BBQ chicken is my favorite of their specialty pies. Excellent salads too with better ingredients then one would expect from a pizza place. I recommend the Molise Salad it's wonderful. read more

Buckingham Pizza is great! We have been going on a weekly basis for years. They recently expanded the menu to add additional appetizers and entrees...they have all been fantastic! The pizza is always awesome as well. We have never had a bad meal! When they are busy, the food does come out a little slower than normal which some may find frustrating. Ordered delivery tonight.... was told it would be an hour.... that was fine with us, but it ended up being and hour and half... food was good, but cold and part of our order was left out (garlic knots.... that we paid for!) possibly more drivers needed? He was a nice young man though... ... and, in the past my husband and daughter where treated rudely while coming into the restaurant to pick up takeout.... all customers should be treated with respect! Have been going here for lunch at least 2 or 3 times a month. The food quality is still there, but the last 6 or so visits my party of four (dining companions) have been served at least 5-10 minutes apart. Very distracting and uncomfortable, especially since we all need to be somewhere else in 45 minutes, and no one wants to be rude and begin eating before everyone is served. They make a great extra, extra, extra thin crust pizza. Nice and thin so as not to be too filling.

This place is ok, not great. The food is so-so. I had the pizza which was not very good. My niece ordered pasta with tomato sauce. I tasted her pasta and the sauce was tasty but the pasta was grossly overcooked. To add insult to injury, they have a large sign that states they only accept cash. What kind of serious business in a somewhat affluent area does that?! There are better places in the area that are more convenient. read more

The upside of Buckingham Pizza is that it has great food. Pizza is yummy, we especially like the spicy Brooklyn. I also get a pasta dish sometimes as well, and its plenty to share! I would have given this place 4 stars but the don't take credit cards!!!!!!!!!! This is a major inconvenience and hope they emerge from the stone age soon. Also, we were in there on Veterans day, and the owner would not so much as honor the Veteran with a free soda- WOW. read more

I'll start this off by saying I've worked in the food industry as a server, bartender, expo, busser, dishwasher, etc for 10 plus years. I now work with disabled persons trying to help them find employment. We're not supposed to meet them in their home as per company policy. My client, who is disabled, and I have visited this pizzeria a few times per her request because it's close to her house and she feels comfortable meeting there. Today we went in at 1:45pm and I noticed it was busier than usual (typically we go at a time where it is not busy restaurant hours.) Before going to sit down like we normally do, and again this was only our third time here, We were greeted aggressively and immediately by who I assume is the owner. I started to ask "do you mind if we sit here.." and was cut off. He said, "I have a real problem with you coming in here not buying anything and sitting taking up a table for 2-3 hours." (Mind you, we have never been there the previous 2 times over an hour and 15 minutes - as I have a limited amount of time I am able to work with each client. There also has been about 15 other open tables in the restaurant each time we were there, including today.) This person responded very hostile and aggressive. Had the gentleman asked politely if I purchased a drink or a slice of pizza we could sit and go about our business, however he met me with an extremely volatile attitude and aggressive choice of words. Again, as someone who's worked in the food industry, I understand how it can be frustrating for someone to come in and sit without purchasing anything. With that said, how this employee decided to treat me in this moment made me and my disabled client extremely uncomfortable. The rudeness was completely unnecessary and being familiar with the industry I wouldn't have minded at all purchasing something from this place in order to sit there for an hour, had I been spoken to appropriately. The part I feel the worst about is how my client was treated. I had to explain to her why "that man was so rude". It's unacceptable how me and my client were made to feel today. She's already treated differently in the world and she felt terrible after this interaction. I'm mortified that this had to happen in this way, and this whole situation could have been completely avoided had we been treated like human beings. What the employee was trying to say was completely justified, however we were yelled at and made to feel like we were unwelcome for no reason whatsoever. I will not be entering this restaurant again for obvious reasons, and I encourage anyone who has any empathy for disabled persons to do the same. Again, the way we were treated was completely reprehensible and could have been avoided completely. read more

AWFUL!!! Spent the afternoon at Peddler's Village and on the way home we spotted what we thought was a nice establishment. We were wrong. It was a hot/humid day (August) and they had no air conditioning circulating. The staff (about 5 young foreign guys) sat in the back watching some Latin TV show and drinking BEER!!!! Maybe they were on a break? Not sure. It was 3 p.m. in the afternoon and nobody else was in there but us. Nobody made it a point to accommodate us so we just sat down at a table. We had to find someone at the counter to take our order. When we asked for a two high chairs, we were given an attitude and rolling eyes. The kid who brought out our pizza was pleasant and had a big smile on his face but the other guys who were sitting around watching tv just stared at us most of the time. The guy with the apron sat on the chair rubbing his feet. The panini was mediocre. The fries were tasteless and the Pizza was greasy, with jarred sauce and overuse of garlic. The cheese was flimsy. We have eaten many places but this was NOT one we would recommend. Nobody offered us utensils or plates. We had to ask for those. The utensils were in a basket that had dirty crumbs in it. What would it take to clean that out? Oh well. Maybe we'll find some other place next time. read more

The food is ok - the pizza is ok - not the best and not the worst - but their delivery service is in need of some work - I've had deliveries approx 5 or 6 times to my house - 2 of those orders were incorrect (either the wrong pizza or missing an item), a 3rd order, the pizza was ruined from the driver (cheese had slid right off). Today...I ordered a small item at 6.95, and I'm told there is a $10 minimum - fine, I ordered a couple slices on top of my item - no problem. Driver comes and asks for $16.95..oh..there is a $3 delivery fee - which is not listed on their menu - nor was I informed of this when I placed my order - only that I had to meet the minimum. The amount is not an issue -but the fact that they failed to make this known. Why have people have a minimum $$ order amount AND then charge a delivery fee on top? There is no problem with charging a delivery fee - that's normal - but make your policies known and don't double dip with minimum amounts, delivery fees and TIPS to the driver... The pizza in New Hope is FAR better and I'll drive the extra 5 minutes or go to the Candlewiyk who's pizza is the same quality as Buckingham. read more

Shame on Buckingham Pizza... They do not have the best pizza in thalmere, believe me. I'm from jersey. Grew up on Maruca's and Delorenzo's. Those places got an attitude, but don't get me wrong- they should! They're good! Buckingham Pizza is taking the rich folks in their area for a ride! And no plastic? What makes them so special??? I could see if it were a mom and pop joint or a start up, but they've been there for years! Nothing special... You can go to Spatolas, Nat's or Giuseppe's and they don't ask any questions when I pull out my card. And BP has that ATM there as a "convenience". MY ASS! Buckingham Pizza makes the best pizza around, particularly its plain pizza and a few of its specialities -- try the cool ranch pizza. This is a pizza parlor. Don't get fancy....order the pizzas and maybe some sides. While some of the entrees are good (chicken piccata), stay with the pizza and you'll love it. read more

This is right down the street from us, which is a big plus! We've had some not so great stuff- their white pizza was pretty bland and we got a calzone that wasn't baked all the way through. But their chicken cheesesteaks are DELICIOUS and they have an eggplant parm pizza that totally blew our minds. The regular cheese pizza is very good. Fantastic thin crust pizza with great toppings. I recommend the eggplant and ricotta, while friends of mine swoon over the tomato pie (either because it is really fantastic or really garlicky, hard to say!). Used to love this place ! Has gone down the tubes regrettably , customer service is very bad .. I odered a birthday meal and when it was picked up part of it was left out .. When I called about it I was told that the manager couldn't talk to me for 20 minutes because she was talking to a staff member??? WOW I had to send someone BACK to get the rest of order that YOU neglected to put in the order and we get told THAT we were not welcome to order from there there anymore !? BAD !! Good place. Pizza is pricey though, but some different style pizzas which is nice. Big, huge downer is cash only. Nowadays they have many programs for credit cards with reduced rate, such as the square. Would eat there more often and rate higher if they accepted credit cards. read more

As a man from new york I can say, the pizza, is alright. It's not amazing but its not absolutely disgusting. The quality of service their really is not that good at all. Went their one time and will never go back. The place wasn't busy at all and we simply ordered a cheese pizza and some wings for myself. I didn't eat any pizza as I was really craving wings. The pizza came in about 30 minutes which was a long time anyway. After that they said the wings were on there way. So, we waited for about another 20 minutes before the waitress FINALLY came back. (We hadn't heard from her the entire night. Not even for water refills) Then, she comes back with the check. She says "Oh they didn't bring out the wings?" Who is they? Aren't you the server. Anyway we ended up not getting the wings and when we talked to the manager all he offered us was one piece of pizza for our troubles. But you see, I WOULD HAVE EATEN THE PIZZA IF I KNEW I WASN'T GOING TO GET WINGS! Anyway, it's not a place I would ever go back to read more
