I don't always eat salads but when I do it's gotta have alot of interesting and freshly prepared ingredients in it otherwise it'll just get very boring very quickly people, Lol. But here at Salad House they always got my back when it comes to fresh and delicious interesting made-to-order sensible meals. Everything up in here is on point from their quantities to their quality. Service is always awesome and Kyle makes a Killer Salad, yeah he does. I highly recommend trying their Buffalo Jack Salad which comes loaded with Buffalo Chicken, Pepper Jack, Romain Lettuce, Tomatoes, Croutons, and Bleu Cheese Dressing - Get You One!! I've had salad house before but tried a wrap. I was craving something doused in teriyaki sauce and went with their bowl but this was just okay. The romaine was super crunchy and I loved the Buffalo sauce. I subbed the chicken for tofu and the tofu was super crispy. The croutons were nice too and had a homemade feel. I subbed the bleu cheese dressing for the chipotle aioli and it was super good. Overall very filling and energy boosting. Can't wait to try their wraps next! I love Salad House of Livingston! There are so many choices for lunch in this congested area the Salad House is in a super convenient location. It's best to call ahead of you plan to take your food back to the office. There's plenty of seating to eat in and it's bright and clean, ordering is convenient using the iPad system or just stepping up to the counter. The salad choices are excellent and they are abundant. They off wraps as well and their falafel is very good. It's a great place if you have difficulty avoiding temptation since most of the choices are calorie friendly. I was excited to stop by this new Salad House location that just opened in Livingston as I was craving salad and truffle fries, and someone mentioned that this place is already open. I stopped by Saturday (Jan30) and placed an online order for 12:25 noon, and it was ready and freshly brought out by 12:27. There are limited tables for indoor dining so we opted to sit in and eat. The food was fresh and truffle fries were really yummy! Salad is a bit overpriced in comparison to the amount and variety of ingredients you can get at Chopt, but the bowls were still pretty enjoyable. My boyfriend ordered the Eat Cobb salad and I ordered the Buffalo Jack salad. I could've used a little more pizazz in my salad as I only saw buffalo sauce-covered chicken pieces, pepper jack square pieces, and cherry tomatoes. (I believe it said breaded chicken and croutons online). I also chose Avocado Poblano dressing on my online order and got ranch instead. We also tried falafel bites which weren't bad but nothing special. Overall though, positive experience and good to see locals all coming out to support this new restaurant. Would come back some time soon to support, but may prefer Chopt for the portions and variety of ingredients for the price. read more

I was very skeptical about going to another salad joint. I went to a competitor on the other side of town and the salad was very expensive and it was just okay nothing special more lettuce than anything. I highly recommend anyone checking this out the portion was enormous I can't even finish it and the proteins were not skimped fast service next time I'll order through mobile just for the easy convenience of it place was clean they were very nice definitely going to recommend this to anybody. It is a mix of arugula & baby greens, grilled ahi tuna, cucumbers, edamame, carrots, pomegranate seeds, crispy wontons (which I excluded) plus your choice of dressing. They recommend the Tamari Thai Ranch dressing which I went with and it's a great pairing! The important thing about my salad order and smoothie was that it was SUPER fresh. Good crunchy salad. I did a MYO. I got tofu which was fresh and soft-- if I could suggest, maybe changing the tofu to be more firm/ have more seasoning? Could just be a personal preference. We called about a catering order for our son's birthday party and we were immediately transferred to Dave who is the restaurant manager. Dave was a delight to work with! He was able to accomodate our large party plus certain allergies which he kept ingredients separate to make sure there was no cross-contamination. Dave helped us choose a menu that had a ton of variety and also catered to our different age groups. The food was fresh, delicious and nothing got soggy!!! Our guests were sooo excited about it. Plus this type of food doesn't require being reheated which was great given how many people we had over. We ended up really being impressed with the Salad House. I would give this particular location 3.5 stars. I usually order from their millburn location but they were closed so had to order from Livingston location. I ordered my usual Buffalo chicken on focaccia and Cesar salad. Cesar salad was good but the sandwich was stale. I had to throw half of it. May be I will give it a one more try. read more
