Confession: I don't crave salad often. In fact, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've thought, "You know what sounds AMAZING right now? Lettuce." So imagine my excitement when I discovered Just Salad has a drive thru and was conveniently on my way home. Eager to satisfy my once-in-a-lifetime craving for lettuce, I excitedly pulled into the drive thru only to discover there were no salads listed on the menu. An interesting choice for a restaurant called Just Salad. I told the employee I wanted a soup and salad and asked about the missing menu items. Her response? "Oh, well you can look it up online." I don't actually mind looking it up online. What I mind is customer service that makes an inconvenience feel like it's your inconvenience and not theirs. A simple, "I'm sorry about that--we're working on fixing it," would've gone a long way. The soup was comforting, the salad was just okay, and my brief love affair with Just Salad has officially come to an end. I think I'll be cheating on Just Salad with Chop't next time. read more

At the time of ordering, my estimate for delivery was 25-30 mins. I received my food 2 hours later. They batched all delivery orders together so that I watched the delivery guy on the tracker go to 4 or 5 other towns. It left the restaurant, and my food arrived over an hour later. The smoothie was completely melted and the salads were gross. There is no phone number to inquire or get help. When I emailed they offered me a $10 credit for a $50 order. Finally got a chance to try this place out.. good menu choices. We came on a busy Friday at lunchtime. Waited a long time to order. It seems as though staff do not have a good system in place for drive through orders, Uber Eats/doordash/etc, and in person orders. Very rushed, stressed, and not friendly staff and I can't blame them. I'd be too with all of that going on. Ingredients were fresh, but for 3 salads and drinks we spent $55 and I thought that was a lot of money. Inside wasn't totally clean but staff could barely manage what was going on so cleaning the tables and floors was probably not a high priority. Convenient parking out front and separate from the Dairy Queen next door. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I ordered takeout pickup while my friend dined in, and the portion sizes were about the same for both. One note is that even when asking for a light drizzle, the sauce was still quite generous. Ain't your Mama never told you to eat all your vegetables? Well this one's for you Mama!! My opinion on salad has always been "okay I'll eat it as long as it isn't boring the F outta me" Lol. I mean Lettuce and Tomatoes are toppings not a meal people. A really great salad has to have fresh flavorful ingredients, interesting textures, delicious protein portions, and dressing so amazing it demands my attention. And lemme tell you that Just Salad checks all those boxes plus a whole lot more.   Alright already now don't go thinking that Bill's gonna only eat salads from now on or nothing crazy like that, but if he was it's pretty cool to know that this place definitely has his [our] backs.  ;D    Plus they also make delicious looking Wraps, Soups, and Bowls here too so as far as I'm concerned the possibilities are endless. Hi really love just salad. I had a doctors appointment at 6:30 pm and after mt appointment I took a shower drive down the road and went through the drive thru. I've been inside before and it's decently sized and clean! This was very convenient because it was raining! I got the crispy chicken poblano and it was just what I needed after a long day of work! came here on a sunday evening with my sister was craving a caesar salad wrap and was impressed they have a combo option where you can get a wrap, chips & drink for $14.99 instead of just getting the wrap for almost $13. there was no wait, plenty of parking, staff was very nice and there were plenty of inside & outside seating areas i got the spicy chicken caesar wrap and it hit the spot. very filling they even have a drive thru if you're busy and want to stay in your car my sister got a different wrap (i believe it was seasonal and they no longer sell it) and we both didn't like it ; so i guess not everything is good here which is why it's a 4 not 5 stars! also the reward system is a bit lacking, no immediate rewards for signing up and the chance of you getting a reward is limited if you don't come often (which is understandable but disappointing) read more

Unfortunately terrible wrap (spicy chicken Cesar) and incorrect order. The chicken was ice cold. Like frozen and not fully defrosted cold. So stingy with the meat as well in the wrap and the chicken Cesar salad. Peruvian chicken bowl didn't have the correct subbed protein. It honestly was $63 of salad comparable to Cesar salad in a bag. The absolute stand out was the green sauce that came with the Peruvian bowl. That saved this from being 1 star. Worker was nice so this wasn't a service issue. If you want a chicken Cesar wrap just go further down Eisenhower for the one at Stella's or mama Rao's. Warm, plentiful chicken and great dressing. I think it's like the same pricing too read more

I am so tired of not getting a receipt and getting the wrong order in the drive through. Got all the way home and have the wrong stuff that they handed me. Of course the top order was right and I just should not have assumed they would get two orders right. Shame on me but I will not go back again. I've had it. UPDATE - FEB 2026 what is wrong with this place? I've been coming here for about a year and there is absolutely no system in place for the staff to prepare orders in a timely manner. I place order for pickup, I arrive when the app tells me it will be ready, I get here and wait ten minutes and they haven't even started making the salad yet. We love Just Salad and are so happy they opened in Livingston! They even have a drive-thru. Their menu is seasonal which is a bit disappointing as I miss the buffalo cauliflower, but I'm happy to say they still have the edamame crunch on the menu. The location has about a dozen tables, and looks new and clean. This is perfect for lunch. Service was good! They have a lot of people working here and they are still getting familiar with the menu. read more

My husband tried Just Salad in Livingston last night. He had a very bad experience. We are a middle class black family that live in West Orange. He walked in and did not know what he want. The employee stated "do you know what you want". He did not know so he told the person behind him to go in front of him. The owner or the manager of the store greeted that person and the next person and the 3rd person with "Good Evening, how can I help you". My husband after the 3rd person knew what he wanted and placed his order. The owner manager said to my husband " are you ready to irder". My husband placed his order, paid and was given his receipt. He did not receive a thank you just a receipt. Why wasn't he greeted with the respect as the white customers? The same thing happened to me when they first opened. I enjoyed the salad and pumpkin soup but will not patronize this establishment again. #NotAGoodFeeling read more

This place is a bloody nightmare! I work in an office right next door and sometimes order my lunch from there. I usually order online in advance hoping that my order will be ready. I don't like wasting time because I tend to work through lunch. on 1/15/25 I order online, then went to pick it up at the hour indicated. I still waited about 20 min before they started to complete my order. Meanwhile, walk-ins get served and are out the door before mine is complete. they finally say the soup I ordered isnt available and will take another 20 mins. that's 20 minutes on top of the 20 minutes I waited to pick up my order, on top of the 25 minutes from the time I placed the order online. THEY ARE SO DISORGANIZED. I told them I didn't want the soup. They should reimburse me for the soup I didn't get but I'm not holding my breath. I was so disgusted I just took my plate and walked out. This is not the first time I had a bad experience, but it will be the last I will never go there again. Anyone considering this place should think twice. read more

The food is very, very good. Fresh ingredients and tasty. The issue is the service. The staff are not trained well and they're understaffed. They seem to be clueless when working. It's not organized. Even if you order in advance using the app and they give a pick up time, you sometimes have to wait 10 minutes since the one employee making salads just started when you come for pick up.
