This place has one of the best atmospheres of any pizza place I've ever been to. The staff are so…read morefriendly and welcoming, and you can actually see very well into the kitchen all of the effort and careful preparation they are taking to make these wood fire pizzas. You can actually see they don't use any pre-packaged cheese because they shred it right in your field of view from real loafs of cheese. I have experience in a deli so I know my cheeses, and while I was talking to the chef, I got to know precisely what kind of mozzarella they would use to get the best quality on a pie (a low moisture type of mozzarella that doesn't affect the cook in the brick oven). The sourdough bread they use is fantastic, can't recommend it enough, go try it for yourself.

The sourdough crust is awful!!. The crust is chewy which is fine but it is soggy. I forced myself…read moreto finish the last few pieces just so I wouldn't throw it away I'm a New Yorker born and raised, and new to this area and I've had some of the best pizza in the world at Bruno's in Brooklyn. And the bar was high lemme tell you! THIS is fine if you've never had good pizza before, but horrible if you have. I appreciate the time and care that Tyler's puts into their product but this was just nasty. I guess I'll be going back to Vicks pizzeria (Which ain't great either!) The problems with Tyler's pizza: -Sourdough crust-nasty -not enough sauce -smoked sausage is not Italian sausage This is NOT NY style pizza and the hype is misplaced. The tang of the sourdough is off-putting and disrupts the flavor profile. On a positive note the delivery guy was super nice!

Thecwaitress told us they bring in Nashville muscians;some that are starting out. The food was amazing! Theur menu is small but poserful. They are connected to Pioneer Pizza who makes theur subs and pizzas plus they smoke their meats on site snd had 3 house sauces on the table. I had the smoked wings. Naked but rubbed with a dry seasoning. The wings fell off the bone and were so flavorable! No sauce was needed. But I tried the three table sauces. Hubs had an italian sub. Heand I agreed it was provably the best italian sub we"ve ever had. I ordered the Grainery salad - it was great because I like Blue Cheese ceuymbles and red onion. Both flavors were strong so avoid it you are not a fan. I ordered the large and feel it was the equivilant of a side salad-kinda small. The Grainery attracted groups if friends, families with yound children and couples out fir a dare night. Highly recommend! Our server was great. I try not to ask "what is your favorite menu item"? Instead ask what is poplular. Our server had a real passion for the food, the history of the building and the Plain City community. When our meal was over, she directed us to the complimentary soft service ice cream with toppings. Great way to enjoy a touch of sweet after the savory meal! We will return!
