I physically can't pass a Buc-ee's without stopping to load up on all my favorites. It's like a magnet to me. This was my first visit to the Melissa location. My daughter and I were in town for a wedding, and the bride decided, spur of the moment, that she absolutely needed some Beaver Nuggets packed in her suitcase for her honeymoon early the next morning. So naturally, we headed straight to the Beaver. The minute we walked in, our wedding party turned every head in the building. The tipsy bride in her massive wedding gown & tiara power-walking through every aisle in search of her Beaver Nuggets was pure comedy. We were all dressed to the nines, surrounded by "The Beaver" in all his glory, and I could not stop laughing. It honestly felt like we were filming Bridesmaids 3. It was fantastic. I managed to break away from the group to stock up on my own Buc-ee's favorites to pack in my suitcase for my flight home the next morning. Worth every penny! As with all Buc-ee's locations, this one delivered. Spotless restrooms, an impressive variety of hot and cold food options, and so much merchandise you could easily replace every item in your house with the Beaver's face. I also topped off the rental car, and that tank stayed full all the way to DFW, so no extra gas stops before returning it. Another win! I highly recommend this Melissa location. If you see the sign, do yourself a favor and stop. You will be glad you did. As for the bride, she boarded her plane at dawn, honeymoon-bound, and her suitcase zipped tight with her precious Beaver Nuggets safely tucked inside. Now that's true love!

Who doesn't love Buc-cee's?!? They have something for everyone. They are constantly switching it up especially for each holiday! So if you have gone one day & then the next week it's new things added! So never gets boring going! The beef jerky wall is beyond amazing and every flavor & meat you can think of! The fudge sampler box has a yummy taste of 6 different flavors! Great to take home and share with the family! If you go I do suggest getting a bbq sandwich! Yummy and it's a must everytime I go! My son loves for me to getting him the roasted cashews and walnuts! I could go on and on about all the things we enjoy here! You just have to go explore and experience it yourself! You won't be disappointed! Got the fur babies with you? They have a whole area for them in back to stop and sniff around too! Goooo get you some Buc-cee's you will thank me later!

My grand babes and I love this place. Snacks, food to go, decor, grocery items, cleanest restrooms, gas pumps for miles and plenty of ample parking. What's not to love about this place. Seems the grand babes always need a new Buc-ee's T-Shirt and some new Buc-ee stuffed animal. Kinsley the 5 year old has started having meltdowns if she can't find the mascot Buc-ee. Always needs to find him, lol. Peyton now 8 just rows her eyes even tho she too loves him as well. Heading to and from Dallas, it's a must stop for our family. Don't forget to grab some Beaver Nuggets to snack on. #MelissaTexas #CollinCounty

Well, it's been a minute since I've been to a Buc-ee's... and wow. They really said, "Let's overstimulate every single sense this human has," and I respect that. To say you might be on sensory overload is an understatement. This place could take up your entire day if you don't pace yourself. One half looks like a local mall where you could probably buy a whole new personality, and the other half is basically a grocery store selling everything from homemade jerky to cookies baked with the confidence of someone who knows they'll be sold out by noon. And the cleanliness? Listen... I've been in hospitals that weren't as spotless as this Buc-ee's. The food prep area looked like it had its own cleaning crew watching the cleaning crew. The fountain drink/ICEE zone? Immaculate. Fully stocked. Not a single sticky spot in sight -- which feels physically impossible for a soda area, yet here we are. The bathrooms? With that much foot traffic, I expected chaos. Instead... clean. Fresh. Like they had a bathroom team on standby whispering, "Not on my watch." Parking? You could host the Olympics in that lot. Your local Walmart wishes it had this kind of real estate. I swear they built this place with the assumption that every visitor brings a truck, a trailer, and maybe a backup trailer. The gas pumps? I saw box trucks, a dude hauling a whole shipping container. I stopped counting after pump #100. If you're waiting for a pump at Buc-ee's, it's because you don't feel like walking the extra half mile to the store, and honestly... relatable. Every employee I talked to was friendly, helpful, and probably caffeinated lol. I got asked if I needed help at least six times in my 30-minute stop. At a gas station. A gas station. Who does that lol. And yes -- I did, in fact, make a dedicated trip to a gas station. I had to see what the hype was about. Walked out with homemade cookies and two brisket sandwiches like it was the most normal thing ever.

One of my favorite places ever!

Stopped at Buc-ee's on the way to Oklahoma because, let's be honest, it's impossible to pass "beaver world" without pulling in. Needed gas... left with gas and breakfast. Grabbed a brisket taco and a bacon-egg-and-cheese taco, both legit delicious. Buc-ee's could probably sell tacos out of a toolbox and they'd still taste good. The place was packed, like mini-interstate-traffic packed. Carts, coolers, people, and enough snacks to feed a small army. "well-orchestrated traffic," but actually more like bumper-to-bumper with occasional breakthroughs. At least it wasn't full gridlock you can still move forward if you believe hard enough. Staff was polite coming in and going out, and checkout was quick considering half of Texas was inside. Bathroom? Still undefeated!! Cleanest restrooms in America, no contest. Great visit, honestly never had a bad experience at Buc-ee's. The beaver stays winning.

First time and Buc-ee's and they took all my money!!! They have soooo much! I stuck with all Buc-ee branded food, drinks and souvenirs! WORTH IT! I got to Dallas a lot for work, but never have a chance to drive out to a location. A group or us made it a point this last time and we are so glad we did!! Super clean location and everyone was so friendly!!

There is a Texas Road Trip Rule: you don't pass up a Buc-ee's! This Buc-ee's was no exception. Cheap gas, tasty snacks and clean bathrooms. There is also fun merchandise throughout the store (souvenirs, art, t-shirts, camp chairs, etc.). My favorite snack is the frozen Dr Pepper. Their popcorn (in a bag) is good too and labeled gluten-free. The staff is always friendly and check-out goes quickly, even if there is a line. This time, we really appreciated the air pump stations also since our tire was losing pressure right when we began the trip.

Here we are at the famous Buc-cee's.... We're here for a little stop route on the way through down to big D and parts beyond for a few days. I always have a great selection of food and snacks and drinks and souvenirs and clothing and sweets and you name it. What do they not have? I can't think of anything they don't have. It really is a great stop and I encourage you to do so if you have the time.

Amazing! Best convenience store I've been to. You can find just about everything on the run and the hot food is not bad either. I'm a believer in the Beaver now! lol

Can a business become an institution in only 25 years? The answer seems to be 'Yes', with Buc-ee's, a chain of huge Southeast convenience stores based in Texas (founded in 1982, with first travel center opening in 2003). It follows the model of convenient gas station stops on major thoroughfares, except at a much bigger scale and advertisements proudly proclaiming how clean their rest rooms are. There are 50 locations across the Southeast, with most in Texas (35). This location in Melissa opened on April 29, 2019 with a size over 50,000 square feet. It has almost 100 gas pumps. We came because of the EV super charging stations in the same parking lot: a Mercedes Benz branded station with 5 CCS and 5 NACS, and a Tesla branded station with 20 NACS ports. They were not busy and gave us a chance to figure out how to charge our newly rented Hyundai Ioniq 2023 without pressure. Once we figured it out (it continues to use the CCS connector), we let it charge while we explored the Buc-ee's. A lot of employees are required to keep a store of this size running well, especially on a very busy Saturday night... so much product...most of it Buc-ee branded. We picked up two bags of freshly roasted and candied nuts (one cashew the other almonds), and some souvenirs branded with "Melissa". As a final note, two world records are owned by Buc-ee's: World's Largest Convenience Store (at 75,000 square feet) located in Luling (the concurrent point between Austin, San Antonio, and Houston) and the World's Longest Car Wash (255 of conveyor) located in Katy, TX (near Houston).

It's hard to pass up a Buc-ee's, especially one that I've never been to. The layout of this one seemed a little different, but I enjoyed the same great service and selection. Parking was also quick and easy. As usual, the bathrooms were spotless. Don't hesitate to stop by this location.
