It's right at the corner entrance and it looks dead and unlikely to be occupied any time soon, especially nowadays with this unexpected pandemic and COVID 19 is not helping. I like that you can park and ride! Love the central location of it and the walking distance between SMU Campus. Definitely a must visit if you are able to. We used to swing by the Angelica Theater and also attended a lot of comedy shows back in the day. Mockingbird Station is a very fancy mini outdoor mall that will remind you a little bit of the domain in Austin. It's in North Dallas right off the highway in a very Prime area. It doesn't matter that there are three or four other major malls including the Galleria and Northpark within a couple of miles of here. Because this mall still gets massive traffic, and parking on one of the street spots which are metered quite expensively is still difficult. The VS store here is small and claustrophobic but has plenty of good stuff, and the Bath & Body store is nice with great employees as well. All in all Mockingbird is a great little Mall and Barbie made it look even better. Just don't make fun of any avian creatures while you're shopping here. It's not nice to go around Mockingbirds.

I like that the shuttle is almost always at your car once you've parked and are getting out of it. I like that the drivers help load the luggage onto and off of their shuttle. It's helpful that they record your parking stall number on a card for you to put in your wallet. The ride to the airport is usually bumpy par for the course for van-based boxy shuttles. Drivers have always dropped us off where we wanted. Tonight it was at the Hyatt Regency. The drivers have always been quite courteous as well. We always make sure to tip them well for the service they're providing to us. Oh - the North location has a complimentary automatic car wash too. I've used it once. For no extra cost - it's fine. We're well pleased with the service we've gotten from The Parking Spot the past 5 years.

This felt like the Portland of Dallas…read more Since everyone else is going to talk about the funky, eclectic, communal and hippie vibe, and the 60 independent businesses, I will mention some history: 1. The neighborhood was nicknamed "The Devil's Back Porch" back in the 1920s. I hope that was not a reference to his butt. 2. This was one of the busiest streetcar stops in all of Dallas in the 1930s, which is the reason the shops are close together. 3. The restaurant Paradiso is L shaped because it was built around century-old trees. 4. Bonnie (of Bonnie and Clyde) worked as a waitress in this area before her crime spree began. Rumor has it she needed money to afford the $8 slices of pie at Emporium Pies. Only three things sucked: 1) Parking is difficult on weekends. 2) Cops are everywhere, so don't jaywalk. 3) The people with clipboards asking you to donate to blue whale abortions or whatever are aggressive.

My friend and I came here for the Bishop Arts Bazaar which was a lot of fun on a toasty fall day…read more They have retail parking available that's less than three minutes away walking distance. There was live music, food trucks and plenty of vendors. They had a couple of older model cars on display which was cool. When we entered the bazaar there was a lady there to welcome us to the event which was nice. I enjoyed a refreshing drink at a food truck and got street style tacos from another vendor. The live music was upbeat and complimented the event. We were able to walk around and explore a majority of the vendors. I ended up buying a couple of things from the vendor. The bishop arts bazaar occurs in the fall once a month on Sunday. Attending the bazaar was a lovely way to spend the Sunday afternoon.
