    Mockingbird DART Station

There's a little bit of this station at ground level, such as where the bus stops are located. And it's certainly the closest station to the Bush Presidential Library (still a good walk!). But the rest of the station is very deep in the ground, serviced by stairs, escalator and an elevator. There are automated ticket vending machines, but no turnstiles. The station is on the Red, Orange and Blue lines, with Cityplace/Uptown the next station towards downtown and Lovers Lane the next station outbound (on the Red and Orange) or White Rock (on the Blue). There is apparently free parking available upstairs and a few bicycle racks. It was cool this far down but mostly because there was a bit of a breeze.

Young at heart urban shopping, dining, and entertainment complex! Plenty of choices! Plenty of parking during the days - good luck at nights! Two key reasons why I come to Mockingbird Station as often as I do: 1) to catch a movie at the fantastic Angelika Film Center; with this, I make time to check out one of the fun eateries there and shop a little bit then also; and, 2) to purely have a fun and delightful time at the Trinity Hall Irish Pub! Among my favorite eateries here: Cafe Express, Reikyu, Trinity Hall, Twin Peaks, Urban Taco! Among my favorite shops here: Centre, American Apparel, Francesca's, Movida, Victoria's Secret! The problem I have is with their parking garage's elevators: dingy, hot, and slow they are! Not fun when I was stuck in it once! Careful I am since! Cheers!

I've used "mass transit" several times in the city Lots of standing for the space is itty-bitty. I used the Dart to ride to the state fair Twenty bucks to park? How they dare! But back to be point, it's not so bad to ride It's more the stench... I know something died The people must also be a different breed All germaphobes, please take heed. But there's plenty of seating, I think the chairs are blue And I remember being on it thinking how the time flew. It's pretty quick and it gets the job done. If you're with your friends, anythings fun!

"This gift to the local community will be interactive and encourage guests to capture photos, learn about the important work of Community Partners of Dallas, inspire charitable giving and make precious memories this Fall." The pumpkin patch featured multiple photo ops including the harvest house, candy corn tree, cornucopia, land of mums, gnome village, prince owl, fairytale library, harvest cart and the wishing well. There were lots of people milling about, waiting for their turn to take photos. However, it wasn't super crowded and there was still enough room to breathe and enjoy the scenery. This was a great family-friendly activity and fun way to make memories. There was no admission fee, making this a great alternative to the Dallas Arboretum. The mall itself was huge and offers and a variety of retail shops, restaurants and entertainment options. I uploaded more than 20 photos, so I hope they all post with this review.

Northpark Mall for shopping- it's dizzying and impractical for most items…read more Northpark Mall, however, is the perfect place to go for a couple hours of amusement and marveling at how the 1% must live. There are additionally some worthwhile dining, music, and artistic opportunities to enjoy. I personally love to play "guess how much this costs?", from an $8000 rug at "Design Within Reach" (though certainly not within budget) to $40,000-$100,000+ pens at Mount Blanc. (Nothing in that store at all has a price tag on it, and you know things are wild when you have to inquire!) This game will keep you amused and flabbergasted throughout your mall exploration. There are additional joys to uncover like live musicians, special events throughout the year (like a gingerbread village at Christmas time), and permanent + rotating artwork. Today I saw a real piece by Jean Dubuffet (on loan from Nasher Sculpture center), a mixed media unicorn, and this super neat rainbow light piece I snapped some pictures of (that actually had a deeper and heavier meaning; wish I documented the artist's name). The mall is perfect for people watching, getting a walk in on excruciatingly hot summer days or when it's raining, and just generally finding random fancy shops to explore. I recommend a visit as a fun date idea, for reasons above, not for the shopping experience. For $5 dollars, I got some actually incredible crackers from Eately's grocery and a couple hours of great delight and enjoyment exploring with lovely company. Northpark Mall really is like a live and interactive museum of sorts showcasing the lives of the upper echelon of Dallas. It is generally very crowded on weekends and an absolute chaotic nightmare to try and visit on weekends in the month of December (avoid!!!!). I give the parking situation three stars because it is always difficult to park and exit this mall. Come with curiosity to this center and enjoy the wild window shopping experience. Note some stores (eg, LaLa Land and Lego Store) had long lines to even enter the store / order. All around recommend visiting, but for very unconventional reasons more akin to why you should visit a zoo or museum than why you ought to visit Costco or Target.

I visit this store regularly, so I've gotten familiar with the customer service in different sections. In the produce section, the staff are friendly and helpful. If you show them a picture, they'll help you find exactly the vegetables you're looking for. In the meat and seafood section, the staff's English isn't very strong, but they understand what you want if you take your time communicating. One thing to watch out for is pricing--sometimes the posted price is incorrect, so it's best to double-check. As for the cashier section, I've noticed that the best service usually comes from the younger cashiers who work at night, or the morning cashiers at counters number 2 or 5. They are friendly, fast, and well-trained. Some of them speak English fluently and are always willing to help. I especially appreciate the night-shift cashiers. They're relaxed and chill at work--sometimes they step away to chat with coworkers, but they always come back quickly if someone is waiting. There's one cashier in particular--the guy with glasses--who I always choose. He's friendly, jokes around in fluent English, and checks out customers very quickly. Overall, the cashier section is the GOAT and really makes my shopping experience much better

Only three things sucked: 1) Parking is difficult on weekends. 2) Cops are everywhere, so don't jaywalk. 3) The people with clipboards asking you to donate to blue whale abortions or whatever are aggressive.
