I really admire this Buc-ee's. Being that it was our second time collecting breakfast tacos from here while visiting the dentist I figure it was time to share on yelp. The breakfast taco seem to be consistently good bacon is crispy bites and cheesy eggs. They also have a brisket taco which they try to remove the fat., which seems to be a good buy as well. Breakfast ends at 11:30 AM. I greatly appreciate a team member that really looked out for me and kept the last three bacon tacos in the warmer for me to purchase after the dental appointment. This review is for Carwash service at Bucc-Ee's. This location. Gas door lid of my vehicle was broken during the blower stage or last stage of the car wash at Buc-Ee's. I noticed that the blowers were too strong while in the vehicle. After that, my gas door lid flew outside the tunnel. I went to complain, and the attendant politely asked me if I wanted to fill a claim! I filled the claim, and days later, I got an email from Ariana Ramirez, " claim adjuster" for the company. After a few emails exchanged, she decided that even when she accepted that their equipment was at fault or miss adjusted! To Decline my claim. I have been in more than 3 different car wash companies, and none of them have had broken any part of my vehicle. The gas door lid has a lock that locks the lid and is part of the vehicle. The blower system at Buc-Ee's is really strong, and they claim that they have a sign that says they are not responsible if anything happens to your vehicle. Now I have to pay for the damages on my own!!! I just imagine how many claims they deny. read more

This Buc-ee's location in Cypress, Texas is considerably smaller than the much larger stores we're used to. In fact, this is about the size of your average convenience store, maybe slightly larger. It's immaculately clean (store and bathroom), gas pumps and car wash onsite. They've got a smaller deli/hot food selection than usually but carry all the popular items. While Buc-ee's is the crown jewel of Texas, this Cypress location is a junior version of decked out gas station that we all know and love. Consistent with the brand, this location has the snacks, the cheap drinks ($0.99 for a large fountain soda, can't beat that), coffee station, ice, car wash, and clean bathrooms, however the options are just a bit more limited, especially in the hot and prepared food section. Who gets excited about a gas station?! I'm not ashamed to admit I did as I stopped in here. I had heard great things about the food and snacks there available here so as a foodie it has my essentials, lol It was very clean and neat inside. The shelves were well stocked and organized. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have their own brand of packaged candies on display as you enter. I picked up packs of two packs their Cherry Sours and one pack Banana Salt Water Taffy for purchase. As I made my way around the store, I also picked up some other random typical snacks then made my way to the hot food. There I decided on the Texas Cheesesteak Burrito. I almost didn't make it to the car before I had to get into it. It was SOOOOO GOOD! It was hot, fresh and full of flavor. I recently visited Buc-ee's with my daughter because she is working on a school research project. We stopped by the store hoping to ask a manager if they might be able to provide any information or small materials to help with her assignment. Unfortunately, before we could even explain why we were there, we were immediately approached by a woman who appeared upset and assumed we were there to complain. She told us we had to purchase everything and came across very harsh and unwelcoming. While I completely understand store policies, the way she spoke to us made my daughter feel nervous and uncomfortable. There's nothing wrong with simply asking a question, and a little kindness would have gone a long way. I've always enjoyed shopping at Buc-ee's, but this interaction left us disappointed due to the lack of friendly customer service. I hope staff can be a bit more approachable and understanding in the future, especially when families or children are involved. read more

I went to my local buccees to get some Texas goodies for a friend that was visiting. My goal was to get beaver nuggets and jerky. They have the best jerky and many flavors. I ended up with two kinds of beaver nuggets, some branded trail mix and an icee. Everyone is so friendly even when I spilled the whole icee on the counter. Had to make it again. Smallest Bucees that I've ever been to. Nothing different as far as the gas and service goes, but it was super weird being in this small normal sized gas station. What I didn't like was that their food section was limited, no bakery area, no huge restrooms, and something as simple as having napkins at the cashiers, did not exist. Call me spoiled from being at the many other Bucees locations, but this place is more of a mini Bucees lol. Parking lot isn't as big as usual and the gas station is small as well. We often stop here on our way back from Houston. It is very clean, people have always been nice and gas prices ok. Note that if paying by CC a hold is put on for a bit of a couple of hundred dollars as they have no idea how much is going to be bought. I have always watch though and it has always dropped off. They have some really interesting things in the bakery area and will cheerfully warm up something for you (I wait until something just comes out of the oven). :-) read more

I rarely go inside to purchase anything, but the very few times I've been inside, the clerk gives me a hard time about giving me change for a $5, and advised that I need to purchase something for change. It's kinda ridiculous if I need 5 $1's and if I purchase something I will have less than what I need. This location is fairly always busy, but then again what Buc-ee's isn't? I went there early In the morning to get non ethanol fuel. Drove 40 min to get there. (It is supposed to be 24 hour operation) it was closed with lights off. Employees were going into store that obviously had some lights, I asked a couple what was up and no one knew. I waited 45 min and no change so I left. I came back after work that same day for the same same reason (Figuring it must be operational now!) only to find 1/2 the pumps still not working (including the non ethanol pumps I needed, BTW the electric chargers were working though...) I went in and asked what was up and was directed to a manager. She told me they were on generator power and couldn't run all the pumps. I asked if they could just turn a couple on so people could get non ethanol. She said no! I told her my story and she seemed disinterested. I told her I called to see if it was working before wasting another couple hours of my time and it went to a Corp number that said to ask questions and leave comments on the website. She said no one answers phones at that location. I asked if I could have a manager's number so I could call to see if it was working before driving all the way back again. Again she said no and that they don't give out their numbers. I then asked if I could leave my number so someone could call or text me when operational. Again she said no and that I would have their number then.... I have been loyal to Buc-ee's for years but this location and their ever escalating prices just stopped that. Smaller store/gas stop in cypress area. The ladies room only has 3 stalls and every time I've been they are not as clean as the larger buc-ee's. They also have very limited choices in their snacks and always are out of stock on some things. It's a good rest stop if you're passing through or need a quick snack. Also convenient if you're staying at the Memorial Hermann Hospital down the road. Don't expect buccees merchandise, like shirts, etc. read more

During the insane storm Houston had on May 16, power was out everywhere. When I came by the morning of May 17th there were about 50 bags of ice (starting to melt) outside. I waited in a long line to buy a few bags and the cashiers said they weren't selling them. They had no idea why just was doing "what they were told". When I explained to the cashier that it was to save my breastmilk during the outage he got the manager. The manager looked me up and down and proudly said he wasn't selling them. Again, no legitimate reason why. The manager was extremely rude, walked away as I was trying to ask questions and just didn't care. I have a newborn, breastmilk is his source of food. The fact that this manager wouldn't sell ice that was already getting melty in the Houston heat was barbaric. The manager clearly loves a good power trip. Will NEVER come here again.
