I had to drop in twice because this spot had a line out the door on my first visit. Although I'm not a savory kolache girlie (I do not eat pork or eggs), I gobbled these up. The staff was patient in my indecision and kept the place clean and inviting! I ended up trying the butter chicken, brisket, and barbacoa varieties, and everything tasted fresh and thought out! Placed an online order one Sunday before Church and the place was so busy. We ordered the kroscuit, butter kolache, cookie butter iced coffee, and donuts for the kids. Everything was delicious and definitely worth the wait. The kronut on the kroscuit was perfectly warm and melted in your mouth. The butter chicken kolache was seasoned well and tasted delicious. We got the butter chicken kolache (pictured), cronut holes, sausage and cheese kolache, glazed donut and the egg sausage grits and cheese kolache. The butter chicken kolache was fantastic!! I also loved the cronut holes, but daughter said she prefers donuts to be just donuts and she loved her sausage kolache and donut. Highly recommend this place, they have the traditional kolaches yummy and they have the more specialty ones for the more adventurous folk. I have been to this location multiple times and I just have to say this is now my go to coffee, donut, and kolache place to go to. Their new Birria Taco Kolache is just the best. The sauce that it comes with gives that experience like your eating a real birria taco. Their donuts are always fresh and that glazed donut is just amazing. I ordered a Salted Caramel Iced Coffee and they have so many options. I am a little lactose so I prefer almond milk and they are so nice about it. They offer whipped cream and many different kinds of milks. The ambiance and vibe about the place is so calm as well! Last but not least their service is phenomenal. I just happened to be in the area early in the morning and I decided to lookup Best Kolaches nearby on Yelp. Karma Kolache popped up in the Number 1 spot, and it did not disappoint. It's a cute little spot located in a plaza behind the Academy in Fairfield. The young lady at the counter and the gentleman I assume to be the manager were super helpful and explained some of the different selections. They have the standard kolache selections but they also have some unique flavors such as butter chicken and chicken enchilada. However, their Croscuit Breakfast Sandwich is what really drew my attention. A glazed cronut with either bacon, egg, and cheese or sausage, egg, and cheese. I was lucky to get a single bite because my son and wife ate the whole thing. Their pepperoni kolache was pretty good as well and stuffed with a healthy portion of pepperoni and cheese. They also have some really good red velvet donut holes and glazed cronut holes. Karma Kolache, I shall return! read more
