Because she doesn't understand why people don't want her to love on them. But here. She runs around and screams with excitement and they laugh. She says hi and waves and you can see the crows feet when they smile and say hi back to her. They look her in her eyes and talk to her and actually put in effort to show her she matters to them. And you can tell. They have love for her as if she was their own niece. That to me. Means more than anything else. If my child is welcomed somewhere. Then that's where you'll find me.
