Six bucks for a half glass of orange juice. The eggs, Benedict eggs overcooked, and the entire dish was cold. That was 30 minutes after placing the order. It's mind blowing how hit or miss some places are with overall moderate to high ratings (79%). This place is certainly not worth your time and certainly not worth your money. choose this place at your own risk. My experience at The Bubbly Hen was horrible on 04-26-2025. My friend and I ordered our food. 45 minutes later, still no food. My friend went inside and talked to our hostess. She comes out to tell us that we came during the busy hour and it took a steak (smaller than the palm of my hand) to cook much longer because I wanted it well done. I grill steaks all the time! No way it took that long, or it would have been burnt to a crisp. About 20 seconds later our food comes out and it's lukewarm! Apparently, the food sat waiting for some time before it was served. We came to eat here for the first time today at 11:42 am and were told there'd be a 30 minute wait. We waited and got a text at 12:14 saying our table was ready. Our server didn't know what kind or brand of sodas they had and had to go back to the machine to check. We ordered, he came back about five minutes later telling us one of the dishes we had asked for was unavailable. After getting that fixed, we had to wait about 50 minutes for our food to arrive. It was cold. The restaurant was well-decorated, but very cold. Our sodas weren't carbonated well and the Dr. Pepper tasted off. The Hearty Hash was very soggy. It was cheap, but not worth it. Bubbly Hen is nice. The food was great and very tasty. The area is pretty clean and in a safe environment. The movie theater is right next door which is a huge bonus. There is plenty of parking outside. It's very loud inside the restaurant. This used to be a pizza place and I think when they removed some of the equipment out of the restaurant it through off the acoustics. When it was a pizza place it was never this loud. Also the food was very expensive for the portion size that you were getting. I would come again, but this wouldn't be my weekly spot for breakfast or brunch. For the level of value vs price it would be a monthly visit kind of place. read more

If you're looking to waste your time, money, and patience, Bubbly Hen is your one-stop disaster. Drinks took *50 full minutes* that's nearly an hour of sitting with empty water glasses and no updates. The drinks just so happened to come AFTER the food. Which mind you, was mediocre as hell. Not even worth the wait. Our server, Diana, Dena, or whatever her name was, was dismissive, slow, and outright rude. No apology, no effort to refill waters, and when we (very politely) questioned the terrible service, she had the audacity to *deny anything was wrong*, as if we hallucinated the entire nightmare. It took **three complaints** before they comped *anything* and only then did they act like they were doing us a favor. The manager was even worse: smug, confrontational, and refused to remove gratuity despite us explicitly requesting it due to unacceptable service. Apparently at Bubbly Hen, bad service comes with a mandatory tip. This place is a textbook case of what happens when no one in charge gives a damn. Bubbly Hen doesn't deserve your business, your brunch plans, or your patience. Skip it unless you're craving disappointment and overpriced eggs. read more

This is a great little cafe/restaurant. We stopped in on a Sunday morning and sat at the bar (there was a wait for a table). The server was great at explaining the menu and brunch cocktails. I had the three meat omelet with a side of cheddar grits and cold brew coffee as my drink. It was all delicious! My wife had the spinach and feta omelet with a side of sweet potato hash and her drink was a pecan old fashion. All of it was delicious, including the drink. We got the recipe for the drink! This time we had the fried green tomato BLT and the biscuits and gravy! It was amazing! We both had the cheesy grits and they are the best I've ever had! 10/10 would recommend! The manager, David, is a hustle machine!! He is awesome. Cheyenne and Donnie were at the bar and treated us great! I had a pineapple mimosa, yum! Hubs had the old fashioned and said it was great! The food and service was mediocre to down right non- existent. During the long wait for food or drinks ; the staff could have come out to apologize or explain , but had to flag them down Dow refills on drinks. The food was not worth the wait or the expense . I came with a large party yesterday (well I have 6 kids so it is always a large party) - knowing we would have to wait on a Saturday during football season. The wait, surprisingly, was not that bad, and there was plenty of outdoor seating and indoor seating to do so. Some of us went to the bar to get drinks while we waited, which was a huge help. We went on a Pop-Up Saturday where local small businesses can sign up and sell their goods on the Patio. This weekend was plants, and the people selling their plants were so nice and very informative. Every table was full except a few outside tables. We were seated at a high top where I could see the kitchen with relative ease. They are moving non- stop - so it was exciting to watch. It was bustling, but not loud, which I was worried about with the high ceilings. I could easily hear the conversation down the table. Our server was very nice, took our orders, added our drink orders from the bar to our bills, and checked on us regularly with updates and take more cocktail and coffee orders. They have an amazing iced shaken espresso with caramel that my daughter got which was so good. She said, "No more Starbucks for me," as this drink was almost half the price. They had a great whiskey selection, and then some hard-to-find Crown options like Blackberry. They have a massive juicer and make the juices from scratch so I got the Tropic-Kale, and it was so flavorful. When the food came, we were all excited. Being able to watch the fresh food being made was super cool too. Their waffle iron is so cute - and the kids loved how thick they were - not spongy and fake looking, but thick and moist. Definitely not thin and limp like a WH waffle. My husband got the chilaquiles, and let me tell you, the chilis and salsa verde is made from scratch and tasted so so fresh. The avocado was firm but not hard, and the crema was a cool contrast to the spice. My favorite is the Fried Green Tomato BLT with asparagus. The sandwich is massive - the bacon is crispy, the tomatoes are cooked to perfection. I love their asparagus - never stringy, and always seasoned well. I always eat half for brunch and have the other half of my sandwich for dinner. Bestie got the 3-Meat Omelet which was HUGE. It literally can't close all of the way, and the egg splits from the weight of it coming off the frying pan. The girls got the Creme Brule French Toast and they loved it. The shrimp and grits were massive and smelled divine, and the quesadilla came with their fresh salsa and we all tried it with a spoon. There is something about the contrast between the sweet, spicy, creamy pieces of the quesadilla that made every bite a little bit different. Definitely enough food for two people. My favorite part of the experience was the fact that you can buy jars of their fresh jams and honey options and or bags of their coffee and grits. Today I visited the Bubbly Hen for the first time. The food was good, a little over priced, but very tasty. The Bill-E Bacon appetizer is delicious but HORRIBLY TINY for the price, two small cuts of bacon on top of two tiny pieces of bread. The omelette was very good (that I had) and the avocado toast was also good (that my father had). We drank water and our check was still around $50. I'd give it 5 stars if we didn't have to wait just over an hour to get a table and then spend $50 on about $30 worth of food.
