We had gotten matcha,brown sugar and the Oreo slush boba. The matcha wasn't bad. The matcha was perfectly blended and smooth (which I love because some places don't blend their matcha thoroughly) but its taste wasn't the best matcha we've had. The brown sugar wasn't bad either it tasted good but felt a little watered down. The Oreo slush boba was delicious and I have no comments saying otherwise. The service was excellent and the employees even helped us decide what to get. They were very helpful and kind and greeted us immediately. The ambiance was great and it was decorated with adorable signs, a beautiful whale mural, whale squishies, and lights. Many seating options and two kiosks to order as well. Overall, even though we weren't absolutely thrilled with our drinks there are many other options and we look forward to coming back soon to try something new.

At this Whale Tea location at least, you order and pay at a kiosk and they tell you when your drink is ready. I went with one of The Whale Tea's signature drinks -- The Whale Crystal. The kiosk pic for this order showed horizontal blue, white and orange-brownish layers. The description said it was coconut milk and peach jelly. When they handed the tea to me, there was no blue layer. Just a white and orange-brownish layer. That was disappointing since I was largely going for the visual. I wouldn't think that I had to add something to my order to achieve the blue layer since it was the pic for this order. But as I said, I'm not experienced with Boba Tea. I'm sure the tea was fine for it was, but I didn't really connect with it. That sometimes happens when you try new things. The coconut milk layer tasted on point. The peach jelly had the texture of small gummy pieces. It tasted fine. I would try the Whale Tea Again, but not this drink. 4 Stars

Boba had a nice soft texture that was appropriate for this drink, although not the softest boba that I've come across. The shop also offered several options for Vietnamese coffee including variations like coconut. There were a few tables with seats available to enjoy the drinks inside and a plant covered wall with a neon sign (For my bes tea) for photo-ops. The store is cash free, credit card only. The best way to pay is actually through the Snackpass app where you can earn a free drink after a certain amount of purchases. I'll definitely stop by here the next time to try more!
