If you're looking for a new ice cream spot in Providence, you NEED to check out Tricycle Ice Cream!…read moreThe flavors are so good, the ice cream is super creamy, and there are so many fun options to choose from. I love finding local spots like this, especially when the customer service is very friendly and helpful, I didn't feel rush ordering as a first timer! It's in Providence there's no seating but the cream needs to defrost for 8 minutes so that gives you time to get to your location and the icecream is still perfect!!!

Rating: 4.5 Came to…read moretry this ice cream place i've been meaning to try after getting dinner at there there as I've noticed it's right next to it. It's a small local ice-cream shop with variety of unique ice cream options. Inside is small and there are not really seatings to expect to take them outside or bring it home. They have a big blackboard at the top that shows their menu and also has ipad that has menus as well. They offer ice-cream sandwiches, ice cream tacos, push pops, and cones. I got their almond coconut chocolate ice cream taco. It was very chocolaty with hint of almonds and coconut flavor. The crunchy shell with chocolate was tasty. A bit heavy and rich but to be expected. Service is quick as they seem to have all the ice-cream already prepped in the freezer. Overall, the place was good. Another unique Ice cream shop in the area which is always welcome. Would like to coke back yo try their other type of ice-creams.

First of all, their ice cream has a salty taste, which I've honestly never experienced before. Even…read morethe Hawaiian Vanilla Bean flavor tasted salty. That part comes down to personal preference... I can tolerate a taste I don't love. What I can't tolerate is bad service. The employee working on 5/25/26 was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. She acted annoyed whenever someone asked for samples and made customers feel like they were wasting her time. She handed over cups of ice cream without spoons or any explanation of where to find them. After running the register, she simply turned around and walked away before the payment even finished processing. Like I said, taste is subjective. How bad can ice cream really be, right? But poor service is something I don't overlook. I won't be returning to this place. In my opinion, 3 Sisters and Sacred Cow offer a much better overall experience.

It was raining, I wanted dessert, but I wanted something new to me. I randomly found this place…read morewhen doing a google search and based on their nearly perfect reviews, decided I had to give it a shot; I had a BIG FEELING I'd love it. It is located next to a school so traffic can be heavy depending on the time of day. I went around 5 pm and the weather wasn't great so not as much traffic and parking right in front. It is metered parking which is a downside but I believe there are side streets without the fee. I loved a lot of the details when I walked in such as the ice cream cone chairs along the wall, the art on the wall, the citrus colors all around, and a water station. The menu isn't very extensive, but | actually love this about them. Each flavor is very unique and when every flavor sounds and tastes good, a dozen options is perfectly fine. They also have it broken up into regular hard ice cream, dairy free ice cream, and sorbet. I couldn't decide on what I wanted but I was allowed to sample different ones before committing to one. They offer 4 different sizes: mini (golf ball scoop) - $4, scoop (baseball) -$6, half/half - $7, and double -$8. During my sampling session, I tried the horchata, thai tea, and dulce de leche. I ultimately opted for the dulce de leche because of its sweet, creamy, and intense caramel-like flavor. It almost tasted like a cold Werther's caramel melting in my mouth, so I needed more of it. However, I loved that the horchata had a strong cinnamon and vanilla presence with a hint of coconut since I do think the non-diary flavors are coconut milk based. The thai tea literally tasted like a frozen thai tea as it was milky but also the black tea undertone was there. I did not get to taste the london fog but I also heard it was a black tea flavor. Just based on internet pictures, it looks like the menu is constantly changing (some staple flavors don't seem to leave) and there are seasonal flavors. This motivates me to come back more often to see what treasures I come across. They had a few tables inside to enjoy your ice cream there. There were two people working so I did not wait much for my turn. They also do offer pints to go, but from what I could see only two flavors: cookies and cream and mango sticky rice.

It's a…read moregreat little shop on Hope Street, and if you're already spending time in the neighborhood, it's an easy place to recommend. The hardest part of visiting is deciding what to order. They have a huge selection of flavors, and every time we go in I end up standing there longer than I planned because there are so many tempting choices. It's the kind of problem every ice cream shop should have. The ice cream itself is outstanding. It's fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor without feeling overly heavy. Every flavor we've tried has been excellent, and it's easy to see why this place has developed such a loyal following. In my opinion, it's the best ice cream on the East Side. Just be prepared to wait if you're stopping by on a nice evening. The shop is fairly small inside, and it's not uncommon for the line to stretch right out the front door. Thankfully, the staff keeps things moving, and the wait has always been worth it. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ice cream and the generous portions. Parking can be a little hit or miss since it's mostly street parking, although there are a handful of spaces behind the building. Somehow we've been lucky the last few visits and managed to grab a spot right out front, even when there was a long line. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because the small space and limited parking can make visiting during peak hours a little less convenient. Once you have your ice cream, though, it's hard to complain. If you're looking for fantastic homemade ice cream in Providence, Three Sisters absolutely deserves a visit. Just bring a little patience if you're going on a warm summer evening.
