I was very upset when Momo's in downtown providence had closed. it was the first time i had rolled ice cream and it was really good! unfortunately they didn't last long and boyfriend and i were really happy when we found out they opened a new rolled ice cream place at providence place mall. the location is a little weird. its not necessarily in the food court but just outside of it on the bridge/walkway. it gets crowded.. quick. especially when youre waiting for your order and people are trying to walk by. they didn't list their prices so i had to ask. it's 6.50 for a bowl. we created our own which includes a choice of your base ice cream flavor: matcha, chocolate, thai ice tea, mango, vanilla, or taro. then you choose your mix in flavor: oreo, honey cracker, blueberry, mango, dragonfruit, kiwi, strawberry, banana, lychee or watermelon. next comes the toppings you want. you can choose 3. they had a bunch like oreos, rainbow sprinkles, mochi, hazelnut wafer sticks, mint chocolate chips, strawberry or chocolate pocky sticks, fruits and a few others i can't remember. then you get to choose your sauce. caramel, condensed milk, strawberry or chocolate. i got matcha and oreo rolled iced cream topped with chocolate pocky, mint chocolate chip, rainbow sprinkles and caramel sauce. yummm! so good and it's about 5 large rolls. wait wasn't too long. they have about 4 stations to roll the ice cream and one designated person that assembles the toppings. no more than a 10 min wait for our ice creams. definitely will be back!

The concept and "show" is a home run! Fresh made ice cream, just for you, rolled nice and pretty and perfectly presented ! I had their banana split and it was good. Nothing great but good. Ice cream was creamy but "dry". It was actually somewhat boring once they got done making it but I super enjoyed that part and thought it was really cool. For over $7 the portion was on the small side and like I said - it was creamy and ok but the ice cream was not great IMO -- show and presentation is the highlight here. I came and saw - but wouldn't spend $7+ for that small cup of ice cream again.

It's an interesting experience with an abundance of choices. You start by picking your base (which is a flavored liquid) then select one mix in item, three toppings, and a glaze. It's not really clear how the process works but the employees behind the counter have a system and although it takes a few minutes for them to hand make your dessert, it's a fairly quick process. You start at the register and make your selections, pay for your items, and then wait for them to make it. It's a really neat process and has endless flavor combinations. I wish it was more of an experience but I think the employees are more focused on accuracy and efficiency than taking you through the step by step process. It's a neat thing to try and the finished product looks amazing.

Soo good, we got the cookies & cream with whip cream, & Oreos. He took his time making the ice cream & really filled the cup completely & made it look super pleasing. I'd recommend & get here again. Worth your $$ for the taste.

I've been here about 3 - 4 times. During their opening week they offered a buy one get one free deal. I usually get Thai tea with mochi and caramel drizzle. You pick your base flavor, a mix in flavor, your toppings, and a sauce if you'd like to top it off. Afterwards, you watch as your ice cream is being rolled. The workers are really cool and friendly and the price isn't bad for $7. I just wished that they would allow more toppings on the rolls.

My daughter has been telling me about the rolled ice cream videos she has been seeing on YouTube. I was traveling to Providence, RI, so she found on in Providence Place Mall. After walking all over the mall, I finally found the place on the top floor of the mall. Looking at it, I could tell that others had been watching the videos on YouTube. The line waiting to be served was HUGE and only two people were rolling ice cream. I got in line and began the wait. After about 15 minutes of waiting, it was my time to order. SO MANY CHOICES! I finally decided on Mango ice cream topped with Dragon Fruit and Kiwi. I think the biggest enjoyment was watching the ice cream being rolled. These guys knew what they were doing!!! The ice cream was very cold and did not melt as I was eating it. After watching others order, I learned a few things for the next time I order rolled ice cream. The product was good, but the mystique is the process of creating the dessert.

Not bad for the experience. But always a busy line. Not worth it you can get more for your money by buying a tub of ice cream instead. Not a lot of choices for toppings but nice workers

Thai rolled ice cream. So many options. It is a whole new level of ice cream if you've never had rolled ice cream before. An experience you must try. It does take a while to make so don't go if you're in a hurry but it is a good value for handmade quality ice cream plus they give you five rolls which is a lot!

It was my first time trying rolled ice cream and it was amazing! There were many options and varieties to choose from that it was kinda hard for me pick the toppings and more. I got Matcha ice cream mixed with oreos and graham crackers, topped with gummy bears, rainbow mochi, and pocky, and drizzled in caramel. The employees were really nice and friendly. The wait wasn't long at all. If you seen videos of rolled ice cream, it's mesmerizing. Just saying, the rolling part is always satisfying!

    Taro roll in the making!!

First time visiting and we were greeted warmly right away. We checked out the menu on an iPad,…read morewhich was really convenient, and they also had a cute handwritten menu. After placing our order, an employee asked what other dessert we might have chosen. My partner said mint chocolate chip, and the employee surprised us with two mini mint chocolate chip sandwiches on the house. We took our treats to a nearby park. They were very cold (in a good way), and we were advised to wait a few minutes before eating them, which was perfect since it was such a hot day. We didn't talk at all while eating our ice cream sandwiches , they were that good. It's also great to know they offer catering. A must try spot. The banana pudding sandwich was my favorite - I couldn't believe how good it was.

The menu is drawn onto a chalkboard and does list all the flavors and toppings in each one. I chose the red velvet ice cream sandwich this time which had red velvet ice cream swirled with cream cheese frosting stuffed between two chocolate cookies and partially dipped in white chocolate coated with cookie crumbs. They do tell you to wait about 10 minutes before eating it since they are really frozen, so in that time, my friend and I drove to the pedestrian bridge to eat our ice cream by the river. I wish the cookie could be soft, since it does make biting into a little tricky in the beginning. They had a slightly dark chocolate flavor with a hint of saltiness. The ice cream was really good, but the frosting made it even better. I thought it was the white chocolate dip that was added the additional creamy and sweet goodness but it was the frosting the whole time. I enjoyed everything about this flavor. My friend got the chocolate taco. I am personally not a fan of chocolate ice cream, but it was still decent to me. The toppings of shaved coconut and nuts was tasty.

I randomly found this place…read morewhen doing a google search and based on their nearly perfect reviews, decided I had to give it a shot; I had a BIG FEELING I'd love it. It is located next to a school so traffic can be heavy depending on the time of day. I went around 5 pm and the weather wasn't great so not as much traffic and parking right in front. It is metered parking which is a downside but I believe there are side streets without the fee. I loved a lot of the details when I walked in such as the ice cream cone chairs along the wall, the art on the wall, the citrus colors all around, and a water station. The menu isn't very extensive, but | actually love this about them. Each flavor is very unique and when every flavor sounds and tastes good, a dozen options is perfectly fine. They also have it broken up into regular hard ice cream, dairy free ice cream, and sorbet. I couldn't decide on what I wanted but I was allowed to sample different ones before committing to one. They offer 4 different sizes: mini (golf ball scoop) - $4, scoop (baseball) -$6, half/half - $7, and double -$8. During my sampling session, I tried the horchata, thai tea, and dulce de leche. I ultimately opted for the dulce de leche because of its sweet, creamy, and intense caramel-like flavor. It almost tasted like a cold Werther's caramel melting in my mouth, so I needed more of it. However, I loved that the horchata had a strong cinnamon and vanilla presence with a hint of coconut since I do think the non-diary flavors are coconut milk based. The thai tea literally tasted like a frozen thai tea as it was milky but also the black tea undertone was there. I did not get to taste the london fog but I also heard it was a black tea flavor. Just based on internet pictures, it looks like the menu is constantly changing (some staple flavors don't seem to leave) and there are seasonal flavors. This motivates me to come back more often to see what treasures I come across. They had a few tables inside to enjoy your ice cream there. There were two people working so I did not wait much for my turn. They also do offer pints to go, but from what I could see only two flavors: cookies and cream and mango sticky rice.

That part comes down to personal preference... I can tolerate a taste I don't love. What I can't tolerate is bad service. The employee working on 5/25/26 was extremely rude and had no customer service skills. She acted annoyed whenever someone asked for samples and made customers feel like they were wasting her time. She handed over cups of ice cream without spoons or any explanation of where to find them. After running the register, she simply turned around and walked away before the payment even finished processing. Like I said, taste is subjective. How bad can ice cream really be, right? But poor service is something I don't overlook. I won't be returning to this place. In my opinion, 3 Sisters and Sacred Cow offer a much better overall experience.

It tasted like banana to me and they informed me it is a banana and coconut base. I don't think the sign said banana so just be warned if you have an allergy. But I think the banana also helps keep it really creamy! I couldn't really taste the coffee so I ordered the other vegan option which is black raspberry Oreo! I asked them to clean the scoop before scooping mine for an allergy and they did and really did a fantastic job cleaning it, as I did not get sick (yay!) buuuuut they did give me the coffee vegan ice cream instead of what I ordered. Not the end of the world because it was still non dairy which is most important but wasn't what I wanted. I think she just forgot after she cleaned the scooper what I asked for.

Eventbrite was easy to use to reserve the ticket and choose the mini ice cream cake flavors. I chose Milk & Cookies and Sweet Cream & Cookies. The class started about 10:50AM, because we were all waiting for 1 guest to arrive. The class had a total of 11 people. On the table, there were round decorating turntables, cups of frosting, frosting spreaders, mini M&Ms, and icing in piping bags. When the whole class was ready, the staff member gave us our first mini ice cream cake and showed us how to frost it and use the piping bag to create grass. Then, we decorated our second mini ice cream cake. I think my second mini ice cream cake was better, but we were pretty much left to decorate freely. I wish there was more instruction from the staff members. Unfortunately, the mini ice cream cakes started to melt while were decorating and it was messy. The staff members were wonderful and friendly though. They let us keep the mini ice cream cakes in the freezer for a bit while my friends and I grabbed a smoothie from Mia Cane nearby. I do not think the class was really worth $27.00, but I try to think of it as purchasing 2 mini ice cream cakes with toppings for $27.00. The mini ice cream cakes had good flavor.
