Tieguanyin Milk Tea (Roasted Oolong) Hazelnut Milk Tea
    Alyssa P.

Absolutely love this boba shop!! I'll gladly come here over anything else nearby. Service is quick and it's a nice, casual, popular spot. The brown super boba is soft and chewy and has a great flavor! You can tell it was made fresh. It's also great that they have a lactose free milk option Tieguanyin Milk Tea 5/5 This one is my absolute favorite. I love the slightly nutty flavor in this tea. I'll gladly get this one over and over Lavender Milk Tea 4/5 Also really good! I found out lavender isn't my favorite but it feels like a preference thing here. Osmanthus Pineapple Green Tea 5/5 This was a great twist on a classic. I'd never seen pineapple bits be put in a drink but this was pleasant and refreshing Osmanthus Milk Tea 5/5 Also fantastic and is a solid milk tea. There are other flavors but this was still solid and great.

Huge fan of their croffles and boba tea! Located on Thayer Street

I had a chance to stop by this lovely boba shop yesterday with my roommate, and I truly enjoyed myself. I tried their popular mango slush with dragonfruit boba, trust me, it did NOT disappoint. I also ordered their croffle with the nutella spread. This was my first time trying a croffle and it's a brilliant culinary concept. It's been a few years since I've had boba, and would definitely recommend this shop to anyone who's looking for boba spot in College Hill. Also really appreciated that the boba was made fresh!

I recently came back to Ten One Tea House to celebrate TEN ONE day. This year, their special was buy one, get one free and the option to purchase a tote bag for $10.1 instead of $22. I got to the Providence location on Thayer Street a few minutes after 12:00pm (opening) and a line already formed at the 2 order kiosks. I ordered my go to which is the Osmanthus Milk Tea and ordered Osmanthus Pineapple Green Tea for my husband. The BOGO promo was applied. I really enjoy Ten One Tea House for their handcrafted beverages and simple, pure, and high-quality ingredients. Definitely check them out if you haven't done so before.

Great tasting boba I ordered the Valentine special Strawberry Milk tea. Very delicious and fast service, the sitting area as small but cute. Definitely will come back.

Ten one is by far my fav boba place! Tea flavor and sweetness are just nice. So glad to see it while visiting Providence.

Grapefruit green tea w/ white honey boba

I am usually happy when I come across a Ten One location because they often have unique flavor combinations and a wider variety to choose from than most shops. This location is literally only a block from Brown's campus. I got the grapefruit green tea with the white honey boba. I asked for the brown sugar boba but was told that they can only put the white honey boba in the green teas which seemed odd. I'm not sure why I could not add any boba flavor into any type of iced tea base? I also could not adjust the ice level, only the sugar level. The grapefruit green tea was tart and refreshing, but the honey boba had very little taste. The prices here were VERY expensive. A medium green tea was $5.95 plus $1 for boba so after tax it was $7.51 and the medium size was definitely closer to a small drink size, especially after accounting for the ice. The biggest reason I detracted stars was because from where I was standing at the pickup counter waiting for my drink it looked like one of the workers took a sip of a drink that was slightly too full, rather than spooning or dumping it in the sink, before placing it in the machine that seals the plastic over the top. Maybe this drink was for herself if she was going on break, but if this was a customer drink that is not sanitary at all.

Their bubble tea is hands down the best one in PVD! I have tried many of their flavors and I have never been disappointed! My personal favorite is always taro, but the mango slushy was also amazing!! They're also very fast in person and will deliver just as quickly! Highly recommend it!

The tea shop is conveniently located on Thayer St. There are options for milk tea, tea, and fruit tea. There are also options to adjust ice and sweetness level. The peach lemon oolong tea was good. However, the tapioca was not very consistent--some tapioca pearls in my tea were hard/stale, while others were soft.

I got the grapefruit green tea with dragonfruit boba. It was a little bit more tart than I had expected but the good thing is it tasted healthy! One of the things I would change is I wouldn't get the dragonfruit boba next time since I didn't really like the texture. It's not as chewy as your typical boba. It's a little bit too hard to be like jelly either. So I don't know where to place the texture. The flavor wasn't that great either. I'll give this place another try next time I'm in the area.

Ok I loved this!!! It was such a unique drink and this is coming from someone in LA so we have lots of good drinks. Highly recommend this shop in this little town!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in here! Quick, friendly service, with some seating if you would like to stay here for a bit. I often find that for the specific drink I ordered, Brown Sugar Boba Milk Tea, it often comes too sweet, the boba isn't as chewy as I would like, or the tea flavor itself is not strong enough at other boba shops. However, to my surprise, it was really good here! Boba tapioca texture was just chewy enough and did not entirely melt in my mouth, not too much ice, not too too sweet, and had a strong enough tea flavor that complemented the brown sugar syrup. Will definitely be returning next time

Really interesting new Tea House on Thayer street in Providence. We were there for RISD parents weekend and were walking back from dinner, when we decided to give this spot a try. We were actually drawn in by an ad they had outside for a peach tea with fresh peaches, but sadly they were out. So...instead we ended up with a matcha latte and a lemon tea. We also added an adorable tiny pistachio dessert that was tasty, kind of like small balls of pistachio flavored buttercream icing. Overall, definitely recommend!

After being away from Providence for a while, I stepped in to try out this new tea shop - excited to see how it compared to Vivi's and KFT. I had their grapefruit tea and while it took a while to make, it was refreshing and light. I didn't add any add-ins. Given that you order on machines, this place is nice for when you don't want to interact much with staff!

Like okay it wasn't great. The brown sugar milk tea was a little murky. The lemon peach one was good albeit quite sweet.

It has a ton of Japanese treats in the fridge as well as shelves. They also have a bar and sell wine and fun cocktails. They brew Bolt coffee (a local brewer and coffee shop) and make a truly exceptional cappuccino. Like, really really good third wave style espresso drinks that I've not found at other shops in Providence so far (two week visit). I was initially worried their iced strawberry matcha latte might be too sweet, but that was fortunately not at all the case! It was balanced and mild. Just be sure to stir it up! They also have some pastries and baked goods from Seven Stars Bakery, and we thoroughly enjoyed a small lemon cake. We'll likely be back in our last few days in town because we became quick fans!

Driven by heavy social media presence on Instagram, this shop proved to be a classic example of a cute concept that fails on execution. The shop features a modern, clean aesthetic but suffers from highly inefficient operations. The layout makes it unclear where the ordering line actually begins, and the printed menus do not match the menus displayed on the wall. This forced a rushed ordering process, leading me to order a standard Strawberry Matcha. While the drink's presentation was pretty, the flavor was only average and did not justify the steep, overpriced cost--especially for an establishment located in a prominent college area. Color was on point but flavor was very milky and slightly tart. I don't say this often, but it needed sugar. Service was interesting. Drinks are served filled to the brim without lids. You retrieve the lids yourself in a separate counter area. This design flaw was highlighted when a nearby couple spilled their entire order onto the floor simply while walking over to get a cap. Rather than stepping in immediately to help clean up the mess and offer new drinks, the staff stood and stared at this couple for longer than they should have before offering assistance. Also, I would've liked a teddy bear too but didn't see it on the menu so I didn't order it. Between the high prices, lackluster service, and operational confusion, the overall experience does not warrant a return visit. Go get a sugarcane drink around the corner instead!

It's a small tea shop in providence that offer toppings such as boba and sides like taiwanese chicken. They offer different tea toppings like boba, crystal, jelly, ..etc and also sweetness, milk substitute and ice options. Parking is street parking only and can be difficult to find during busy time. Inside is nicely decorated and has good aesthetic. Seatings are limited so I would not expect to find one unless you are lucky. I guess the name of the place is derived from cha which means tea in Chinese and Daruma who is a founder of zen Buddhism. They have a mascot who looks like Buddha holding a bubble tea. I ended up ordering black milk tea with boba and taiwanese popcorn chicken with seaweed and salt/pepper. Tea came out right away and was pretty good. Good tea flavor but maybe a bit too sweet. Boba is home made and its nice and chewy and no inconsistency. I would do 75% sugar and less ice next time for my liking. Taiwanese popcorn chicken was juicy and flavorful. We also got lucky with seating so we sat down to enjoy their food and drink. Service was good and no issues. Overall the place is pretty good. I think everything was good quality and definitely one of the better tea/fried chicken place around RI. If it was in more convenient location I would definitely come back often but I would likely only stop by if I'm already around the area. I did like the place.
