It's in a little strip mall, next to a Waffle House.It's decorated in a cute, homey, comfortable way (according to my wife) and the service was friendly and helpful. My wife's burnt ends and brisket were tender and juicy and my wings were meaty and perfectly cooked. Bbq is never cheap but I dont mind paying when the food is good and this plve is excellent! Ordered a fried pie and was asked if I also wanted some Cinnamon Ice Cream. I did, paid, and waited for the food. Once the pie came there was no ice cream on the plate, so I asked about it and the waitress said she couldn't find an ice cream scoop. She said she'd look again and walked away. Minutes went by and I eventually walked up to the counter to ask again about the ice cream. I was nonchalantly told, "yeah sorry, couldn't find a scoop". I asked about a refund on the ice cream and was then told the price of ice cream is built into the price of the pie. If a restaurant is unable to deliver on availability of food or something I paid for, I'm understanding and able to show grace - but the fact I had to ask about it twice and wasn't offered anything to make my experience better is unacceptable for any business in the service /hospitality industry. read more

Still the best place in town for ribs, and sweet potato fries, but other than that meh.. I really struggled not to give this place at least 4 stars for ribs alone, but there were just too many other issues I had with my recent experience here. One being the price leap! It seems they have added $3 to everything since I was in.. Basic combo meal "2 meats, 2 sides, "no drink" will set you back $13!!! That's not a horrible price for BBQ but it's far from inexpensive. Second issue staff seems a bit cold, and not attentive to customers; such as drink refills, or needing something. They make you pay before you eat so it's extremely hard to judge how much to tip since they expect you to do so before you get waited on. It's as if staff are in the zone of taking orders, deliver food, clean tables... Third complaint my corn was ice cold, and my meat lukewarm... Obviously it can't come fresh out of the smoker, but meals were flying out of the kitchen extremely fast! A little quality control will go a long way. Lastly the bathrooms looked like a truck stop. Dirty floors, nasty toilet, and a running sink; I was shock to find soap in the dispenser. We had ribs and burnt ends. Both meats were tender and flavorful. The burnt ends salad with homemade ranch dressing was especially good with some spicy BBQ sauce on the meat. There were three yummy sauces on the table to choose from; we tried all three. Indulged in some homemade vanilla ice cream and fried cherry pies for dessert. Both were amazingly good. (They also offer "pie a la moon" which includes a shot of one of their flavor infused moonshines.) Another cool thing is that Bubba's BBQ also does catering. If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have said this was my favorite BBQ place, not anymore. I don't know what happened but, the quality of the food kept going down, it was often cold, a lot of times I think it had been sitting out for awhile, it definitely wasn't fresh. The tables are usually dirty, the BBQ sauce bottles are disgusting (it looks like they never clean them), one time all the BBQ sauces tasted like they had been mixed together. We kept going back for awhile hoping it would return to it's once awesomeness, but it never happened. On our last visit we got very sick, definitely food poisoning. I once left them an awesome review that I am now taking down. At this point, any other BBQ place is better, don't waste your money. read more

Heard a lot about this BBQ place so decided to give it a try with the Bf. The restaurant looks casual, not too big but decent. The menu were easy to understand, easier for me to order! We order the half slab ribs dinner come with 2 sides and a toast and a 3 meats combo with the sides and toast. Paid up front and headed to look for a table and my oh my, we sat down to a couple of tables that are sticky and dirty with crumbs. I luckily have hand sanitizer and pour it on the table. I wipe down the table and the booth chair. Then headed to the bathroom to wash my hands and I didn't even dare to touch the door. Its so dirty and gross. As for the food, its the only thing that look decent. The server bring the food to our table. She was very sweet. The food came out quick tho, still warm, not as hot as I wanted. I got the ribs and it taste okie not as bad. I also try the burnt ends which doesn't look like burnt ends. It tastes okie, more like pull pork cutlets. I used a lot of paper napkins. ) My only suggestion is that the tray holding the sauces and paper towels was really two big for the table we were sitting at. This place is not the best. They have a sign up that says "voted best ribs in the Ozark". Maybe at one time the did, but smoked ribs should fall off the bone and not need a knife to get the meat off.
