    Grilled Ribeye* 12oz

Had a nice late afternoon meal at Bubba's 33 in Wesley Chapel. Our server was both friendly and informative. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was about 3/4 full at 4 in the afternoon.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Plenty of TV screens and nice music playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As for the food, it was excellent. I had a nicely prepared ribeye with a slew of mushrooms and onions atop. So good! The fried shrimp was golden brown, a delicious experience. Looking forward to my next trip here!

Visiting from out of town & in the mood for hot wings, we headed to this sports burger, pizza & wings restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice sports atmosphere so hubby happy he could watch football.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] our server was Megan & kat, super delightful. We started with the $5 buck frozen margarita's & at her suggestion add the xtra shot. They were spot on delicious!! We ordered the hot wings, those were so tender & flavor-full. On the side we had the loaded fries. Everything from service to appetizers was great.

I was in the area and wanted food that wasn't there same old chain, and this establishment was a great decision. Menu has a nice variety from wings, burgers, pizza, etc to main dishes that include salmon and grilled chicken dish. There is also a nice selection of salads and sandwiches. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is very cool for a sports food/bar eatery.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and drink options. Pizzas were recommended and we ordered the Hawaiian pizza and a regular cheese pizza. They were both excellent and had a wood- fired taste; mmmm!!! The sauce was home made and the crust/shell was also very good/nice. The crust had a garlic butter baked in/on. Very satisfied with this selection of restaurant to give a try. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Chicken Parmesan Sub where Chicken doesn't fit bread and Tater Tots served are pathetic in portion size
    Christopher R.

1 Star - A Masterclass in Missed Potential at Bubba's 33 (Wesley Chapel, FL) As someone who has spent years exploring restaurants across the country -- from local gems to nationally recognized chains -- I rarely write a review this harsh. But after three separate visits to Bubba's 33 in Wesley Chapel, it's clear that this location consistently misses the mark on quality, service, and management oversight. I genuinely wanted this to be a local favorite. I've dined at their Brandon, FL location several times and always enjoyed the food, service, and lively atmosphere. Unfortunately, the Wesley Chapel restaurant seems to operate under a completely different set of standards. Visit One: Service was adequate, but food execution fell short. Our pizza and nachos arrived with burnt edges, the Chicken Parmesan Sub was assembled haphazardly (the chicken cutlet didn't even fit the bread), and the portion of tater tots was meager -- almost a garnish rather than a side. Visit Two: Service plummeted. A mix-up between raspberry preserves and raspberry chipotle sauce led to an unpleasant experience that quite literally made me ill. Instead of empathy, the reaction from the server was amusement -- an unforgivable display of unprofessionalism in any hospitality setting. Visit Three (The Deciding Factor): [[HIGHLIGHT]]Returning weeks later, I found the dining room nearly empty on a Sunday evening -- three other families total.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We placed our appetizer and entrée orders, only to be told mid-meal that they were out of the Monte Cristo sandwich -- the very reason we had returned. Being out of bread, lunch meat, and cheese at 7:30 p.m. is not a supply issue; it's a planning failure. To make matters worse, I was told they still had exactly two of the Club sandwiches available -- which share most of the same ingredients. When asked if sandwiches were made to order, our server hesitated before suggesting they might be pre-made. Whether that's true or not, the confusion and inconsistency didn't inspire confidence in the kitchen's standards. Our waitress was pleasant but inattentive. She spent more time chatting with coworkers in the service alley than tending to the dining room. A simple request for a side of ranch took nearly ten minutes -- not due to being busy, but distracted. We were her only table. No manager was visible or checked in during our entire visit. [[HIGHLIGHT]]And finally, the atmosphere -- once a Bubba's highlight -- was marred by questionable entertainment choices. Televisions displayed a music channel with explicit lyrics and provocative imagery wholly inappropriate for a family restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The contrast between the family-style menu and adult-themed videos was jarring, to say the least. Three strikes, and Bubba's 33 in Wesley Chapel is officially off our dining list. Between inconsistent food, poor service, and an indifferent management presence, this location does a disservice to the Bubba's brand. With better leadership, training, and quality control, this restaurant could live up to its potential -- but as it stands, it's a disappointing example of how execution can fail even the strongest concept.

First timer at this location ! I strolled in on a Sunday to catch some sports ! Luckily the bar was empty! The bartender was named Lauren & she was very sweet ! Told me about specials & what the restaurant is known for ! The food was delicious! She was very attentive!

    Bubba's Bacon Cheeseburger* amazing!!

This was our first time & we were really happy with everything! The service was above & beyond. The hostess was courteous and even stopped by to say thanks for visiting with a free app coupon. Our server Amy was fantastic! Personable, friendly and attentive, reading our order back to make sure it was right, checking back several times to make sure we were happy, and sending us home with to-go drink refills!! Traditional wings, extra crispy with Cajun dry rub were perfect. (Blue cheese could be creamier & chunky.) The bacon cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful, bacon was crispy too. The seasoned fries were crispy & delicious. The kids liked the bacon chicken Mac & cheese, especially the garlic bread, and the kids grilled cheese with tots. There are many TVs, sports jerseys on the wall, so this would be good for a Bucs game.

When first entering we were greeted by the hostess who sat us down immediately. We were seated in a big comfy booth by the bar where they had country music playing and felt homey. We ordered the Chorizo Queso and it was hot temperature wise and seasoning as well but a good hot nothing unbearable just good flavor. The kids ordered cheeseburgers and fries which were a good size for them and tasted great as well. My husband ordered the Sunshine burger which was pretty huge and stacked high. It was filling and all the flavors complemented each other. He didn't eat for the rest of the day after that burger. I ordered the Turkey and Bacon sandwich and it was just ok. I found the turkey to be too dry and bacon & pickles were really salty. It tasted a little better once I dipped it in ranch and bubba sauce. Overall the service was great and the food was delicious except for my salty Turkey and Bacon Sandwich. Everything was good and even though my sandwich wasn't great I'm willing to comeback and try something else.

I walked inside and the girl working greeted me and asked what I was having today. I ordered a matcha with oat milk and honey and I also decided to try one of their breakfast sandwiches. After I paid I only waited a little till everything was ready. The breakfast sandwich had spam, egg and cheese with BBQ sauce and pineapple chunks and it was delicious. Perfect sweet and savory moment for the morning. For my drink it was okay unfortunately they added way too much honey for my liking.

So, I had an appointment in Wesley Chapel, and checked to see what was open early. Up this place came on Yelp and I was immediately intrigued: the cute donkey, the Hawaii aspect, the merch... let's do it! And I'm so glad I did! The morning drink menu was big... and there was a not so "secret menu" board that offered even more options-including the caramel matcha that I chose. It comes with caramel lava (cold foam) and a swirl in the cup. What a cool combination of flavors! And let's face it-I'd order anything with the word lava in it! They had some breakfasty items in a case-and grab and go snacks and a whole wall of cute merch. The clerk was so sunny and friendly-and patient with my first-timer rumblings. There's lots of indoor seating, shared with Taco Bus patrons-and outdoor patio tables as well. There was also plenty of parking, on a Thursday morning at 9. It's a fun spot to stop at when gassing up-or even as a destination on its own. Hurro your burro this way.

I have fond memories of getting a burger with french fries onions on top which in Illinois they call (Onion) straws. Unfortunately, they don't have that on the menu here. Was disappointed because it provided happy memories. Anyway I found some other fun things as I enjoyed the Key West chicken and shrimp. Side of broccoli, and a side of red beans plus rice . Awesome! I loved it. Spouse had that bourbon salmon and shrimp. She was quite happy with that and the daughter had lemon pepper chicken. I must say they're extremely reasonably priced! So, we ate full dinners with sides and the actual total was under $60 which was shocking! Service was good, but it was quite busy as we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Which means very very busy, and probably date night but we toughed it out. And we had a party of 7 . They said the wait was 10 minutes , it was more like 30 but it was very worth it. Food was excellent and I would recommend going there.

We were really disappointed with our experience at Grillsmith tonight…read more The most frustrating part is that when I originally called to make our reservation, I specifically asked for 5:30 PM. I was told they were too busy at that time and that we would need to come earlier if we wanted a reservation. Because of that, I rearranged our evening and our plans to make sure we could get there earlier and accommodate the restaurant's schedule. We arrived around 5:00 PM for our 5:15 PM reservation, so we completely understood that we were early and were prepared to wait until 5:15. What was disappointing was the attitude we received when we arrived. We weren't asking to be seated early--we simply would have been happy to be seated if a table was available so we could get our three kids settled and ready to eat. Instead, we were made to feel like arriving early was an inconvenience. At 5:15, we were ready to be seated and there were several open tables. We were told that an 8-top had just left and they needed to clean the table and floor. We understood that, but then we were left waiting without any updates while we watched other guests who arrived after us get seated. By 5:25 we had been there for 25 minutes total. With three hungry children, we decided we'd waited long enough and left to find somewhere else to eat. What bothered us most wasn't simply the wait. It was the combination of the attitude when we arrived, the lack of communication afterward, and feeling like we were being ignored while other guests were seated. The most irritating part was that we had specifically rearranged our evening because we were told 5:30 was too busy, only to arrive early as requested and then feel like our time wasn't valued. When we finally said we were going to leave, we were simply told, "Okay, have a great day," without an apology or any attempt to address the situation. We understand that restaurants get busy, that tables need to be cleaned, and that arriving early doesn't guarantee an early seating. We were not expecting special treatment. We simply expected basic courtesy, communication, and for our reservation to be honored within a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we left feeling very unwelcome and disappointed, and ended up taking our family to the living room for dinner and had a great experience there. After going out of our way to accommodate their schedule, it was frustrating to feel like our time wasn't considered valuable as well.
