If you ever think of going to watch a game at the bar side of this restaurant, for SNF, be aware that the GM Tavis, will make an executive decision to not play the game depending on how he's feeling that night. The poor staff was told one thing and made a statement that the game WOULD be played, and after that, we ordered dinner and drinks to enjoy the game, only to find out that Tavis decided not to play the game and our food came out all wrong. The staff looked bad and felt bad, and the kitchen messed up the food, so even though we have supported this restaurant since they first opened, we no longer will. All of this happened when the dining room side only had a couple tables, they have the ability to only play the game sound on the bar side, and. I management came out to address the issue, leaving their staff to fend for the restaurant. Poor management. read more

Love the staff. Went there tonight and asked if the volume was going to be on for SNF game. Was told yes by the staff. So ordered dinner. General Manager Tavis refused to put sound on when the game came on. Was told "he made the executive decision". Then the kitchen proceeded to give me the wrong sized pizza. Hot fries are great! Avoid the bourbon even though they had a highlighted section specifically for it. I ordered one and they added all of the ice that could fit in a short. What a waste of bourbon. Server was somewhat attentive, but the menus were filthy. That is one of the first things you see in a restaurant. They were just greasy and had food stuck to them. I had pizza and a salad. Salad was on a chilled plate and was pretty good. The pizza crust was nice and chewy. The crust did seem to have some sort of oil based product brushed on it that I would ask them to avoid in the future. It seemed to oily for my taste. Bubbas 33. Great atmosphere in the new restaurant. Plenty of friendly hostess/waitstaff to answer questions about their food. Order the chicken nachos and was blown away by the generous toppings! For my entree I ordered the Sunshine Bacon burger was medium-well. Served juicy, flavorful and definitely enough meat in a single patty. Could only eat 1/2 and the next day the burger was still delicious. Definitely a fan and will be going back. Perfect place for a sports fan as there are TVs everywhere. We had a really good meal on curbside. Their chicken tenders are really good. 2 salads which are big and have a lot of good stuff. Side of broccoli and sweet potato fries were really good. They do need to update their website. It says to go inside for pickup, but right now it's only curbside. They could use a little refining of their response to someone who follows the online directions. I think "you can't go in there" was a little harsh! Especially since we added a nice tip! Stopped in for an early lunch on March 9th with family at Bubba's 33 in Toledo. Service was excellent. Our server was very attentive. Had their teriyaki and BBQ chicken wings. It was as excellent. Invited to preview party. Every item we were offered was very tasty, staff was efficient and courteous. Onion rings were very good. Bubba sauce was a great addition to the onion rings. Waited over an hour for our food only to have the cheeseburger - ordered mayo only- come out loaded and had hot stuff on top. Tots ice cold . Rather than remake they rang in another burger. WHAT THE HELL! Out of lemon aid, out of brownie desert, no Swiss cheese. Overall VERY disappointing experience. Past visits also seemed to take a LONG time to get food. UPDATE 2: waited 15 minutes for waitress who said she didn't know someone had been seated at the dirty booth, even though we saw her walk past at least 6 times. Food was good. Desert was totally different from prior orders and not really the best. UPDATE3 just can't get 1 meal correct. Tonight missing items on salad and items asked to or be included were. 1 salad just could not be consumed. Missing dressings and pizzeria was so bad had to toss almost the entire pizza - 2 pieces had 1 bite then tossed it. May just be last chance. read more

The salad that came out AFTER my meal was good but would of been nice to have that first, the cold lasagna was okay after I scraped off the hard burnt cheese, then I received my bill and found out the salad wasn't included in my "dinner " why ask me what side I want if it doesn't include one and not sure what makes it a "dinner"with no sides, when I asked her why I was charged $3.99 for a salad she said it wasn't included I said okay she tried to explain I said no need then after the bill was paid she brought a menu over to explain again which was definitely not needed on a paid bill. Awful Awful Awful!!!! Went there with my husband his chicken was under cooked and still bloody, my hamburger was extremely well done (asked for it medium) and had the wrong toppings on it. The so called corporate trainer came to the table and was so rude to us we asked him to leave our table. He proceeded to talk to the staff about us to the point they were standing in groups pointing, staring and talking about us. Making us feel very uncomfortable. The GM comes over tells us he'd be right back and just leaves the restaurant to go home!! On top of our horrible experience I emailed corporate and asked them to have someone call me and discuss the situation and all they did was send me a copy and paste generic email that could be sent to anyone. Bottom line is this is a company that employs rude and disrespectful corporate trainers and could care less about talking to their customers to resolve awful experiences. There are so many other restaurants in the area there is no need for us to ever return! read more

I really wanted to love this place but sadly my experience was not that great. Inside the restaurant seemed super cool and we were excited! We ordered mild wings for an app and a pizza for dinner. The wait for the food was very long but the waitress apologized and said that the pizza oven was super backed up, which was understandable. We asked for the wings to just be brought out whenever they were ready, and she let us know that she would bring them as soon as possible. After waiting almost an hour more, the pizza finally came out and it was cold, and the wings still weren't in sight. When we asked about the wings, the waitress said they burnt the first batch and that they had to remake them. We finally received the wings, but I could only eat about 3 because the mild sauce was EXTREMELY spicy, and I like spicy food! We notified the waitress and she said that their mild sauce was hotter than most places, and I wish she would've said something about this when we ordered. Throughout the night we heard the tables around us having similar problems, having food taken back, and having items removed from their checks. I actually think the table behind us walked out without paying they were so done! :( Additionally, the entire time our drinks were only refilled once and it was by another employee that was not our waitress. I would like to try this restaurant again sometime, but I will be waiting a while for the operation to work out their opening errors. read more

We really wanted to like this place because we had heard good things. But it did not turn out that way. Our first visit was on a Monday at 5:00. Not busy and we were seated right away. The server (who was either annoyed or inexperienced) asked us if we were ready to order. We said no we just got here and would like drinks. She took our drink order and walked away. Came back and asked if we were ready to order. We said we'd order apps. The apps were delivered quickly. So quickly in fact we were half way done with them before our drinks came. Way too long to wait for drinks. And the Bubba's fiesta dip was barely luke warm. Again she asked if we wanted to order. Burgers, fish and pizza were ordered. It took a very long time to get the food. Our server was no where to be found for us to ask why so long. Other servers were constantly at their customers tables. When we got our food, none of the burgers were right, the fish was basically breading and no fish. We did not order another drink because it took way too long to get the first one. First time to Bubba's and will definitely be back. I ordered th chicken tenders and shrimp with two sides. It was fresh and delicious. The tenders were generous portion and the shrimp as well. Oh and the entree was served with fries, once again excellent. My two sides were broccoli and a side salad....delish! We were there when it opened on Saturday am.
