This place sucks a**. Terrible food and service. I don't understand how anyone likes this place at all. Went with a bunch of coworkers, tried a lot of their dishes (salad, pizza, pasta, sandwiches) and literally all of it was bad. Greasy, poorly made, poorly seasoned... just plaid bad. Also, we decided to get some drinks, and they were bad as well (margaritas). There are a bunch of teenage waiters and waitresses that don't have a clue what they are doing and how to treat customers. Service: I get reasonably good service 1/4 times I there. The wait staff shows no attentiveness or conscientious Food: Food is good. Best thing on the menu is pizza or burgers. All other taste like typical pre frozen bar food. Drinks: Decent, nothing special here. Price: Price is on par with the quality of food and drinks. Not to terrible. read more

Bubba's 33 - Pizza Near Me - Pasadena, Texas

My husband and I were diners at your Pasadena location on 2/20/19. We walked in and the first people we saw were chasing each other in the front. Asked hostess to have a seat on patio, she said server would be right out. Server took our order 10 minutes of waiting. We ordered a pizza, which took 20 minutes to get and when the pizza arrived it was burned. Please have your waitstaff check food before serving. Totally experience was a flop and service was awful. Server kept forgetting we were on patio. Waste of money on horrible food. Never going again. read more

We went for pizza, and if you love Chucky Cheese and/or CiCi's pizza, you will really like Bubba's pizza. Unfortunately, my wife and I prefer better quality pizza, cheese, and toppings. Bubba's has a surplus of hostesses that stand at the hostess area talking and laughing, but a shortage of competent servers. The hamburger looked to be very good, and we will give them one more chance so that we can try their burger and fries. I'm not going to lie I came in with very high expectations the waiter that we had first was okay but then the second letter that came was just too much. I don't know if he was trying or he was just an jerk he said the food was really good so I was excited to try it especially the pizza because it looked really good on the menu but when I received it it was pretty much like going to CiCi's but worse. Also ordered beer and the first one tasted pretty nasty not like what I'm used to so I ordered something different and that one was just as bad and I was told that there was something with the "line". The wait staff needs more training. Though we were compensated with a free meal, I ordered a salad with thousand island dressing, only to be told after it was served that they don't carry that dressing. My friend ordered extra mayo for his burger, but received ranch dressing. Just one big regret... Awful. We were overcharged when I asked for a corrected bill the manager gave me attitude then walked away WHILE was a speaking to her! RUDE! I would like to say this is the first time I've had an issue here but NOPE, the last time my food was wrong. The food is okay but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The experience started where we had to wait for about 30 minutes to be seated for 3 people. Others were being seated, but I guess they had priority for some reason. After we were seated and our drinks were taken, the lady came back and took our order, but forgot to take one sprains order so she came back to take it. We ordered pizza and chicken nachos. After 20 minutes of waiting she comes back and say "you guys had the pepperoni pizza?" And we say that we had the 33 deluxe, so I'm assuming she had put in our order wrong, so we have to wait 20 more minutes for the pizza. In the meantime we get our nachos and they are honestly not that good. The quality is low. When we finally get out pizza, I swear it tastes familiar and it tastes and looks just like Digiorno pizza. I'm not saying Digiorno pizza is bad, but I rather not pay 4x the price for it. The food doesn't taste good, the service is decent, the atmosphere is not my cup of tea. I'm definitely not ever going back. I rarely not leave a tip because even when the service is bad I end up leaving like $3, but this place was an exception and I left $0. I do not recommend this place. Go at your own will. Worst $20 per person we've ever spent. read more

This used to be our favorite place to hang out and watch football, baseball and basketball. But all of a sudden I guess there's new management and they monitor your drinks. The food was warm. That is about the best thing I can say. I ordered the Bubba's 33 bacon burger. For about $10, my hamburger patty was so thin I couldn't taste it. I had to take everything off of except the meat and cheese, and because the bun is so thick, I still couldn't taste it. I was very disappointed. I'm pretty sure the only seasoning they use is salt, as everything was extremely salty. The bathroom was pretty tidy. That's why I gave any stars at all. So I have been hearing the buzz from friends and family about Bubba's for a week or two and decided to stop in with the wife to see how it.measures up. Right off the bat the ambience is upbeat, and lively. The whole restaurant is covered in an eclectic funky Texas theme mixed with generic sports bar touches mixed in. There are TVs lining the upper region of every single wall of every room, covering all sorts of sports and the music being played is accompanied by the music video itself on at least 1 TV in each room. We were seated promptly (saturday before noon) and proferred menus. I asked about happy hour specials and was pointed to the menu. The specials menu shows a domestic special for 3.50 and the regular menus lists the domestics for the restaurant. Sadly our waitress told us only Budweiser is co soldered a domestic despite the menu stating otherwise. I soldiered on and ordered a blue moon (bottled) it came without a mug/glass and was missing the orange slice every restaurant/bar in existence includes. We ordered cheese sticks which were pretty decent but the marinara included might as well have been tomato paste. As our entree we shared a chicken nacho pizza which was under-cooked and had very little meat on it. Our waitress was ok, had very little character (she might have been better suited to working the booth in beltway 8)and obviously wasn't interested in the quality of our first experience at Bubba's. To sum it up, the food is average, the specials are misleading and the service is bland if serviceable. I'd say if you're going out with the guys to watch a game this place would be decent but only if you can't get into buffalo wild wings or somewhere similar. 4/10 read more

This place is GREAT! Starting when you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces. The hostesses are friendly and attentive . The place was full so they asked if we would like to sit on the patio. We chose not to as it was way too hot. So we took a buzzer and waited . A minute later they asked of we would sit at the Mosh pit table. We decided that was fine. We waited maybe a minute before our waitress Gabby (Best waitress ever!) came by to take our order. After hearing it was our first time, she explained both the drink and food menu's. We had the wings, pizza (half pepperoni half Philly steak). The food was awesome. The pizza is cooked in a brick oven and was so cheesy. The 24oz beer was so cold it was almost frozen. Gabby was so attentive, she came around enough to check on us without being annoying. We were also checked on by other waiters and managers. There are tons of t.v's with something on for everyone. Hubby watched soccer and I watched extreme sports. The music was freaking great. A little bit of everything. Most of all family friendly, non of the ladies were in skimpy outfits. Jeans and the shirts and so friendly. I will definitely be visiting again soon to try the rest of the menu. read more

This particular restaurant, atmosphere, and food reminded me of Buffalo Wild Wings. I liked the seating set up and the unique way they have with the windows open but still be indoor to avoid the hot sun. Great selection of mixed drinks and good prices. read more

First of all, let me start by saying that we are a long time customer of Bubba's, and purchased several to go orders during Covid to support our local businesses in Pasadena, TX. Unfortunately, tonight will be our last visit. We ordered our normal wedge salad and pizza. Just prior to our food arriving, the table behind us had a big water roach fly into one of their beers. Shortly after that, our salad was delivered to us (which we were sitting at the bar). As I began to cut up my salad, I observed a small dead cockroach sitting on top of my salad. The table had already called for the manager, but unfortunately she had not made herself visible. My wife showed the bartender the small deadcock roach, and she immediately took the salad away. It took over 10 minutes before the manager (Christina) came to us. Christina immediately began making excuses for the obvious roach problem. She tried to say they fly in when the garage doors are open. However, the doors were not open, and the type of roach on my salad signifies a filthy kitchen. She never once apologized, and then dismissed us by saying she would comp the food (which we had not even taken a bite of). She then informed us, we would have to pay for the two half drank beers. I then informed her, that we are regular customers, and that we should not have to pay for anything and are leaving. She advised us, that the table behind us had chosen not to pay for their meal, and they were "now banned" from the establishment. I then advised her, to add me to that list, as well. Again she made no attempt to apologize or remedy the situation. I will be sharing my experience with any and everyone. A bad experience could have been made way better, but unfortunately Christina chose a $7 bar tab over a long time continued customer. read more

This place is good, I really love the habanero burger, the pizzas, and the fried pickles. I had to take 1 star off though because they tend to make mistakes on the orders. I have ordered tots instead of fries on the burger twice and received fries still, asked for no bacon on pizza and still gotten bacon, and asked for pickles jalapeños on pizza and gotten fresh. Apparently sometimes they have pickled jalapeños and sometimes they don't do they will just sub without asking but I def feel like that a place that serves pizza should always have pickled jalapeños. Not a deal breaker but def something that can be improved. read more

Got the Shotgun Shrimp, Wild Shroomin' Burger, Sunrise Burger, and pizza. The wild shroomin' burger had NO flavor, couldn't taste the mushrooms or roasted garlic mayo, and the patty was bland. It was also super greasy. My son said his sunrise burger was good and my daughter said she liked her pizza, even though she was blotting grease off it...I thought it tasted like cardboard. When we decided to leave not only did we get wrong check but was ask why we didn't leave a 18% tip. Worst experience ever. The manager even questioned why the server didn't receive a 18% tip. Me and my family went for our first time! It's a new business so it was pretty busy! The waitress was a little confused on the menu and splitting the tickets up, but other than that service was good! The food was good, appetizers not so much. The Astros game was playing on one of the many TV's, so I am was very happy with that! Overall good experience.
