Service was slow with staff standing around talking. We order d the fiesta dip as an app and the waitress said she had tried it but couldn't tell us if it came out warm or cold. It came out melted but like warm at Best with beef chunks so large they needed to be cut to fit on a chip. Overall, the flavor was fine but it cooled to room temp before we could eat it. We also order onion rings which were pretty good with the bubbas 33 dipping sauce. I ordered the the sunrise burger. It should really be called the salt slab. Completely inedible. *Update* I've been back many times since my first visit and had burgers and recently the buffalo chicken sandwich. By default the burgers come with shredded lettuce and diced onions but if you don't like that, you can ask for iceberg (whole pieces) lettuce and sliced rings of onions which is what I prefer. The burgers are fantastic and the chicken breast sandwich was HUGE. I had it with tots and didn't even finish all of them. And can you even beat the price of a giant chicken sandwich with tots for $9.99? Bubba's is my new favorite and I've been going here quite a bit lately, usually for wings but slowly trying other items. Teriyaki wings are next on my list! I also sat at the bar for the first time recently which was nice because there was a long wait for the dining room but you can seat yourself anywhere that's open in the bar area. My wife and I were visiting Canton Ohio this 4th of July weekend, attending the USFL inaugural super bowl play offs, we were looking for local places to eat and yelp popped up Bubba's 33 bar and grill based on the 4 star rating we decided to give it a try, My wife and I sat at the bar Alyssa was our bartender and waitress, she greeted us with enthusiasm and genuine hospitality. We started off with a half order of onion rings, boy was I sorry I only opted for a half order as they were the best onion rings that I have ever eaten in My 63 years on earth. I should have ordered 2 whole orders in hind sight. Next I ordered a small cheese pizza well done and the chicken tender dinner with sweet potato fries and coleslaw sides, they were all fantastic, not frozen machine made but fresh. Maddie the manager came over and introduced herself as she heard it was our first time there, she gave us a coupon for a frre appetizer next visit, nice touch. Overall My wife and I have eaten at many restaurants all over the country and many chain and non chain restaurants, this was the real deal and We highly recommend this place 100%. Brother and I liked this place a lot and with a few tweeks could love it. The single wedge was a great salad that had plenty of blue cheese, bacon, and tomatoes! The cheese stick were not the same old type they were spiral and were cooked well. The sunshine burgers we had were awesome. The burger was juicy, the egg wasn't overdone, and the bacon was excellent. The sweet potato fries were awesome, but could have used a dipping sauce. The loaded fries were not worth it either and could have used some ranch, if I ordered again I would get the sweet potato fries instead. Overall we will return! read more

Called ahead, Went as a party of 8. They tried to stuff us in a corner booth that would barely fit 5 (3 were kids) so they offered us a booth right next to our corner cell. The 3 at the normal booth had their appetizers before us 5 recieved water. The 3 were done eating before we recieved our appetizers. Our waitress was polite but definitely not made to be a waitress the table of 3's waitress never stopped moving she was awesome. Ours (Julie) took the bill up and never returned with the change. I guess her standing around talking to the 3 Gentlemen at the barside booth made her feel she deserved that 20.00 tip. My husband and I found Bubba's 33 while visiting in Waco, TX so we were thrilled to see it in Canton when we moved back. Our favorite appetizer was the bacon which we learned was discontinued. We were bummed about that, but Tim the owner stopped over to apologize and introduce himself. He was very friendly, helpful, made some menu suggestions, and made the entire experience more enjoyable. The staff members were all friendly. The food was out fast and it was delicious. We will absolutely be back! If we have one critique, it's bring back the bacon!!! read more

I ate here the evening before July 4th, so they were decently busy. I ordered the margarita pizza. It was good, I loved the crust. But it had an odd smoked flavor which isn't common with just a margarita pizza. I wouldn't get it again. The staff were friendly, but a little unprofessional in their banter. Bubba's 33 Excellent Sports Bar/Restaurant If you're a sports fan living in or visiting Canton, Ohio, you have to check out Bubba's 33 sports bar/restaurant. We found out about it during our one-night stay at the Best Western Plus during our drive home from Florida. Two of our Toronto teams were in the playoffs (Maple Leafs and Raptors) and both were playing that night. When we checked in to the local Best Western Plus (North Canton Inn and Suites), we asked the friendly, efficient front-desk representative, Yosha, if she knew of any sports bars in the area that would be showing the games. Yosha recommended Bubba's 33. We loved Bubba's 33. It's our kind of sports bar. There is a large restaurant area and separate bar area with TVs everywhere showing sports and vintage, as well as current music videos. The music was excellent ... varied and loud ... which helped create a fun and lively atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and seemed to be quite happy doing their jobs. Markee greeted us when we arrived and had us laughing as he told us a few jokes during the evening. Our server, Greg, was excellent. He provided efficient, friendly service and was always there when we needed him. We also met Gus and Brandon, the Managers. Both were friendly and made us feel at home. They stopped by numerous times to chat and to make sure everything was to our liking. The menu offered many options and all the meals are made from scratch. All the meals served looked delicious, so it was tough to decide what to order. Being pizza lovers, we decided to give it a try. We loved everything about it ... the hand-tossed crust, homemade tomato sauce, cheese and pepperoni. In fact, we rate Bubba's pizza high on our list of favourites. Although we made the right choice, I'm sure anything we would have ordered would have been delicious. The wine and draft beer were tasty and reasonably priced ($5.25 for a 26 oz). We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our evening at Bubba's 33. Thanks to Yosha for the recommendation and to Gus, Brandon, Greg and Markee for their hospitality. My first time @ Bubba's 33 was positive. For our $35 lunch I chose the one half wedge salad and it was just what I had hoped. I also ordered 6 traditional garlic Parmesan wings: the wings were high quality but as I told the server there was a scant suggestion of the flavoring...rather like they were running low and had to ration it out. I would have appreciated more "umph!" My son had the BBQ boneless wings and enjoyed his as well. That he liked the BBQ sauce was remarkable: he is very picky about it in general and surprised me with his approval. Although I am not a cocktail drinker I did check out their drink menu and the mixed drinks seemed very inventive and in some cases not for the faint of heart. Those who drink I think would be fans. I wish I could give Bubba's a higher rating but our service was so poor that I feel two stars is fair. First, I want to focus on the positive ... the cheese pizza that we ordered was excellent. I would definitely order a pizza for carry out in the future. My husband, two children (7 and 9 yrs. old) and I ate on the patio because there were plenty of open tables and we didn't want to wait for a table inside. At first, our service wasn't too bad but as the patio started to fill up it was obvious that our server could not keep up with the tables. I ordered a wedge salad with the dressing on the side, but when it came it had dressing all over it. No biggie - they took it back to bring me a new one but the new one barely had any toppings on it. I didn't say anything because at that point our server had not come back to the table for quite some time. When we got our meals we realized that we had no silverware or napkins. Our server was nowhere to be found so I couldn't ask for any. Finally, a manager came out (not sure if someone else complained) to help tend to the tables and she got us the napkins and silverware. Also, she refilled our drinks which had not been done since we got there which was about 30 minutes. I gently dropped a hint to her that it appeared our server was struggling. Our server never checked back on us until we were ready for our bill. Fortunately, my husband and I drove separately, so the kids and I decided to just leave as he waited for the bill. By that point, I was beyond frustrated and our children had reached their threshold for sitting at a restaurant. This place is the epitome of decent. Be aware, the service here is incredibly slow. What's worse, there are servers everywhere but they just seem to be standing around; the check in for call ahead seating area had four people manning it alone (make sure you call ahead, too). When we were seated, we were never given silverware or napkins. We had to ask for these after we were given our food, as we weren't given them either when we eventually got it. It took around 40 minutes for us to get our food, and we only ordered an appetizer and 4 burgers. The saving grace for this place is the food, now whether it's worth the wait and the all around unsanitary nature of the place is up to you (bathrooms were NASTY, restaurant was ok). It's definitely not bad, but not fantastic either. The atmosphere and general look of the place is great though! This is your typical $10 burger joint that has a lot of potential. If they clean up their act (pun intended) then it might be worth coming back. At this point, we won't be. read more

This is some of the worst food I have had in a while. We ordered onion rings that all you could taste was grease - it was like eating bad carnival food. I like carnival food! The fries were soggy & the burger was flavorless. Everything tasted exactly the same. The manager was nice & would have discounted our meal - we did not want to do that.
