First things first, Bubbas is owned by the same folks who own Texas Roadhouse - it shows. Just like at Texas Roadhouse the quality is impeccable & the portions are generous. Also just like Texas Roadhouse the waitstaff are very courteous & well trained. The menu here is also very diverse, so I wouldn't say it's any one particular kind of restaurant. My significant other & I enjoyed everything we had to eat & will likely return. Ps: They have wall to wall TVs, so probably a great place to come watch sporting events. Another visit to this restaurant and the experience was better! The food and drinks were better! Fish and chips was like out of box, but was tastier and their were seasoned as good. Fish was flakier than most other places! Their fruit drinks were well made and delicious! The server was fantastic and did a great job taking care of us! The TVs were all over the place! They have two sections one all booths and the other was around a large bar with tables and chairs! That area had large garage doors that could be open or closed depending on weather! They have outside seating weather permitting! Prices were reasonable for what they offer! Parking is their own private parking spaces! They could use a few more handicap spaces! This is our second trip to Bubba's 33 and again, we were so impressed. This go round we tried the pizza and Shotgun Shrimp! O.MY.HEAVENS! The Shotgun shrimp are KILLER...definitely a shareable. You could tell these bad boys were prepared fresh and not frozen & over breaded. The shrimp were cooked perfectly! The sauce was creamy, with a little sweet and a nice bit of heat to get your taste buds zinging. The Potato straws added a delightful crunch to every bite. Seriously, these were scrum-dilly-umptious! The pizza? Honestly, the pizza was some of the best we've ever had with a fold-able, thin, and super crunchy crust! We ordered it with Sausage, Mushrooms and Red Peppers...it was truly delicious. The cheese, sauce and toppings worked in perfect harmony with the delightful crust. The dining area has a crown molding of TV's and they are set to various stations...I liked how the music is synced to the music video's makes for a fun, friendly atmosphere. My husband and I ventured in here on a beautiful day because they have a super neat patio/bar area that opens up to the outside. The decor and vibe are kind of all over the place, but it's a fun atmosphere. The service was really good and the burgers were really good as well. To be honest, we weren't expecting much out of this place. Maybe because it's called "Bubba's" haha. But we were shockingly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. Their fried pickles were delicious. I tried Bubba's for the first time tonight. We had fried pickles as the appetizer which were a bit too spicy for me. We had a small pizza that was shared. I thought the pizza was good for an appetizer rather than as a meal. I had the turkey and bacon sandwich. It was totally awesome. It had real turkey, not lunch meat and plenty of bacon. It was served with delicious hot fries. I also liked that they provide the calories on each of the menu items. That is a very important feature to me. The service was great. Bubba's 33 has a pretty basic American bar and grill menu; fried appetizers, pizza, burgers, and sandwiches. The host and server both gave us the same song and dance "at Bubba's 33 we are known for our delicious burgers, our hand tossed pizzas, and having more flat screens than we do table tops." The first two items I care about at a restaurant, the third, not really. We ordered fried pickles as an appetizer as they were highlighted by signage and our waitress. Unfortunately they were cut too thin and were so greasy we had to blot each one with a napkin to taste any flavor. We then went with the pizza. They claim to be known for it, so it must be good, right? Wrong! There was little to no flavor, and quite frankly it reminded me of a Little Caesars Hot and Ready pizza that cost $5. However, this was more than double that price. The redeeming factor is that while in the restaurant I signed up for their text alert coupons and got the appetizer for free. My mom has recommended this place for awhile, so my wife and I stopped in last night. The menu is traditional sports bar/pub food. The food was certainly better quality than standard pub fare. So I've tried this place twice andcwsnted to like it each time. They are touted as a great burger and pizza joint. Might just be me but if you are claim g such you should crush what you specialize in. 1st visit- ordered one of the speciality burgers. I always ask for my burger medium rare. This one came with an egg. Burger had decent flavor but the burger was well done and my egg was fried hard when it should have had a runny yolk. Failed on the burger in my opinion. However when a mgr came by and asked how everything was. I mentioned to him my disappointment and he gave me a coupon for a return visit. Mid Jan second visit. We were told a 20-30 min wait. Took over 45 even though several tables empty. When asked they said those were call ahead seats. Ok np, but do you really need to block tables off for an 1.5 hrs before the party arrives? If you can't turn tables faster might need to look at a few things internally. As for the food: Wife and I ordered 2 diff kinds of pizza. Oldest got a kids burger and and youngest got the Mac. Fyi they charge $5 for the kids Mac and it's Kraft with no sides!!! Burger was fine. I had the supreme pizza and it was decent a lot of veg toppings but 1/4 of it had 0 cheese... My wife had the Goat cheese and Arugula. There were exactly 8 chunks of tomatoes for a 15in pizza and 7 smalls chucks of Goat cheese. It was so overloaded with garlic and Arugula and nothing else. Went here with my fiance and 7 year old on Saturday night at 6:40 pm. There was no wait, we called ahead, but the restaurant was PACKED. The waitress Brianna was super friendly, knew the menu and was running around on top of things, we waited almost an hour for two cheeseburgers and my sons pizza but the manager came to the table and explained how backed up the kitchen was and would at least get our sons food out first, that to me is exceptional service. The food came out and it was DELICIOUS. the burgers had a great taste, they were cooked well, and my sons pizza was awesome, they even brought out an extra one for him to take home since he had to wait so long, it was still good even reheated. This is my boyfriend and I's favorite new place to go. Great food and staff. Drinks are wonderful. Beer is fresh. We continue to try something new each time we go. We just tried the Hawaiian pizza, very good. Their mashed potatoes are to die for. We always get the chicken nachos for a starter. They are soooo good and it a big loaded plate.! We have a two month old and the booths are clear and fit his baby seat for comfortably. At any day on the weekend we have never waited more that 35 min. This is a place we love to go to for a casual meal. Huge booths that work great for our family (one still in a booster seat). We were immediately greeted and welcomed upon arrival, they had people holding doors for us. We were seated right away (5:00 on a Saturday) and we had drinks quickly. Our waitress was very nice, and helpful. Food all came out hot. I got the fried pickles to start (and it filled me up before my meal came out) and my husband and older son got the shrimp appetizer. Meal wise, we had a burger, fish and chips and a buffalo chicken sandwich. All items were excellent and we had plenty to take with us. My husband ordered a beer and I got a margarita. Both were very good as well. Our waitress help us by getting our check and boxes while we were done eating. I ordered online yesterday at 5:30 for carryout. This wasn't a big order. I was to pick up at 6:15. I go inside near the bar area and had to wait 15 minutes. It was packed in the seating areas and the bar. There were so many people crammed in the seats and bar with no masks on way too close to each other. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I won't do this again. 45 minutes should have been more than enough time to get this order together. I have visited this new Neigbor hood restaurant at least 4 times since their recent opening. Told family and friends and they too visited the restaurant. Went today 06/10/2018 at around 3:00 in the afternoon, restaurant was pretty slow. We were sat in the inside bar section. Waiting for a server so we could order drinks and app. No one even came over to greet us. We got up went to host station told a young lady maybe there is not a server in that section she assured us that someone was there. We walked out and probably will not be returning. This restaurant has been in the area for a while now and has be consistently busy. I hate busy places so I waited for a day when I was able to go just as it opened. I already got it into my head I should try either a burger or a pizza since it's what they advertise. I was horribly underwhelmed by their menu selection. Very basic. Ok well, let's pick an appetizer. I ordered the queso dip with chorizo sausage and that was pretty good. My friend got fried pickles. The pickles were very thin and all you can taste was the breading. I ordered the habnero burger. It was ok at best. The bottom bun was soggy because of the cooked peppers put on the bottom so the sandwich wouldn't stay together. The burger itself was bland. The cream cheese in the burger was a nice addition. My friend ordered the pizza that sounds like it's supposed to be a taco pizza. It was very bland. But it looked pretty I guess.
