Casual atmosphere. Very dimly lit, hopefully they turn lights brighter when it gets dark outside. Our waitress was The Best and kept our drinks filled at all times which is hard to do as my bunch is a thirsty bunch! I ordered off the appetizer menu for my meal and absolutely had no regrets! Ordered the Shotgun Shrimp which had a creamy/slightly spicy sauce on them. I also got a side order of loaded fries. Delicious! Everyone else in my party got a burger and enjoyed them thoroughly! We have been here two weeks in a row and have enjoyed it both times!! We had never been here before and happened to be in the area and decided to give it a try. So glad we did. The restaurant is a family friendly sports bar style restaurant with lots of TVs and booths and tables. They have a nice menu with lots of choices and a good amount of eclectic choices that you don't normally see on a menu at your typical restaurant. Our waitresses both times were very sweet and checked on us often. I had the Monte Cristo and our daughter had the fried shrimp. My husband had the fish and chips. The Monte Cristo was delicious and it was deep fried and came with a raspberry sauce for dipping. It was so good! I had never had one before and am so glad I decided to try it. My daughter was really pleased with her shrimp and my husband really enjoyed his fish and chips. They have daily $4 margaritas!! They're good too! The service is quick without rushing, and efficient and friendly. Beer is cold and plentiful but you are going to find many local selections here. It is Avon. Good place and reasonably priced! I saw Bubbas was opening here in Avon and was very excited to try it out. The service was some of the best I have experienced lately. Very proactive and are drinks were refilled and was very timely with food and check ect. I ordered the south of the border burger and it was amazing. The burger bun and cheese worked bey well together. The burger tasted fresh and was juicy as the bun was very fresh too. Fries were plentiful and well seasoned. Me and my family moved to the area from South Carolina in October and we do not have Bubbas down there. I took my wife and daughter to Bubba's for dinner and we all enjoyed it. The menu has so much variety, from pasta, pizza, burgers, wings, fish, steak, etc. My wife got a pizza and she said it was amazing. So good that she wanted to go back the following week to get it again. I got hot wings and they were good. Bubba's a great spot. Was super hungry, so we decided to stop at Bubba's in Avon after running errands Friday night. They were pretty busy, said we'd have a 20 minute wait for the 2 of us. Just as we sat on the mustang seat in the entry, our table was ready. We sat in the bar. The host who sat us said to try the pizza "it's the best." Our server, Michael was great, he explained a little about the restaurant and how everything is made fresh. We each had burgers, my husband had the onion rings and I had a salad (I rarely go for salad, I'm a fry junkie). I really liked the salad, had hard boiled egg and onion strings on it and the homemade bleu cheese was good. Best side salad I've had in a while. The tomatoes actually had flavor. Burgers were delicious and messy, juicy! Lots of TVs, there was an NBA game on, there was a college basketball game on some had music videos. Great atmosphere! Very pleased with our experience here! We had family in from out of town and very last minute decided to go for dinner. We had quite a large party so I called ahead and was very pleased with how accommodating the manager was with getting us on the call ahead seating list as they do not take reservations. Upon arrival we were pleased with the wait for our table which wasn't long at all for the size of our party on a busy Sunday afternoon! I can't remember the name of our server, but she was awesome! Very attentive and very knowledgeable about the menu! We ended up ordering a plethora of items including pizza, wings, queso, fried pickles and so much more! Everyone was pleased with their food! Personally, I ordered the California Chicken dinner which was delicious! I love this place. Food is always hot and perfect and cooked to order. Speaking of which, chicken wings... one thing you won't get at Buffalo Wild Wings or wings etc is fresh cooked wings. Bubbas delivers! No more of the precooked batch wings that are reheated and dried out using the re-drop in the oil to reheat method. Bubbas does however need to work on more wing options. More dry rubs would be awesome, like lemon pepper etc. burgers are great and wow there really is a wide spectrum of different foods here. And the wait staff is attentive and friendly. Bubba's is a sports bar, through and through. There are TVs everywhere you look, which is perfect for game days. When we dined there (Sunday evening in the summer), we had 360 degree views of America's Funniest Home Videos, some sports history show, and The Hunting Channel where we witnessed wild animals being killed while we chowed down on burgers, wings, and pizza. Food was good. It's a burger and pizza type place. They have a few dinner type staples - steak, fish and chips, a pasta dish. Sat at the bar as it was going to be a wait for a table in the dining room. They also have outdoor seating. Bartender, Ethan, was great -- attentive, friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I give the kitchen 3stars. They were having a little bit of a challenge when we were there. They forgot to send food for one of the other guests at the bar and had a delay with another group of guests. We got our food before they did and we came well after them. The kitchen forgot to include a topping on my burger and forgot to send tartar sauce out with the fish and chips. Overall for a newly opened restaurant, it was good, and I would go back again. The kitchen just needs to work out its kinks, which will come in time. read more

I'll first say I've been to the Evansville, IN and Greenwood, IN stores multiple times and have enjoyed my experience. Not so last night in Avon. Stopped in on our way home for dinner. My wife likes the stromboli, but has it customized to her liking. However, our waitress informed us they couldn't do that (even though the description states "fresh made dough" and they make customized pizza as well. I had ordered wings and some loaded tots. Frustrated, my wife told the waitress to just put mine in and she would select something else. The waitress returned a few minutes later and took her order. A few minutes after that, she comes back and says they CAN customize her stromboli. Keep in mind my order has already been submitted. They bring both orders out at the same time. Since mine has been sitting for an extra 10-12 minutes, it is not hot, just lukewarm, and the tots aren't hot enough to even try and melt the shredded cheese on top. The wings are now chewy from sitting and overbaking. Her first stromboli is not correct. They took out the sausage and not the salami as requested, so they had to remake. By the time her second undercooked stromboli arrives, I've finished my meh! meal. She ended up taking the majority of it home. We have enjoyed our previous visits to other stores, but will probably avoid this one in the future. read more

My husband and I tried to go to Bubba's for dinner. We were told that it would be a 20-30 minute wait, and were told to go wait outside after giving our name and number. After waiting in our truck for 40 minutes, my husband went in to ask how much longer & was told 10 more minutes. We waited 20 more minutes and my husband went in again. He said there were many open tables and he watched larger groups of people coming in and being seated immediately. This place is always busy, especially on a Friday night at 6:30p. Truly appreciate the ability to get on a wait list prior to arrival. When we arrived, people were spilling out into the parking lot waiting for tables. We were able to check in online, and wait comfortably in our car until the text arrived letting us know our table was ready. Very convenient! The menu is large and varied with a focus on bar food, specialty cocktails, and pizza. However, my favorite item is the Signature Ribeye. It's so delicious, covered in an espresso blend, the rub adds a sweetness that enhances the meat so well. Grilled to perfection, I order it every time, and pair it with their distinctive house salad, crisp cold lettuce topped with fresh veggies, chopped eggs, cheese, and house made potato sticks. I ask for no eggs or onion, so customization doesn't bother them at all. The house-made ranch is creamy and one of the best out there. Hubby had the Bacon Cheeseburger and loaded fries. The burger patties are made from fresh ground beef and are slightly smashed but remained juicy. Toppings to meat to bun ratio was just right - equal parts of each. Only two negatives, one was the half onion ring appetizer. The hand battered rings came out with too much batter, so didn't cook through completely and left the onion rings less than crisp. The second is that the music was very loud, probably increased for a full house, but a bit overwhelming when added to all the peripheral noise of guests and typical restaurant/bar cacophony. Hosts(guy and girl) were personable and actually engaged with us when we arrived and when we left he held the door. Place was clean and they had tvs set on a good selection with music not being too loud. Becky our server was perfect while taking care of us for lunch. Burgers (blu and the classic) were cooked properly, well done and a med rare. Fish was golden brown and not brown from being over cooked. Fire fries weren't hot to me but were still good. Boneless wings looked to be hand battered and not frozen. This was the best lunch experience we have had in a long time. Experience was what you want when you go out to eat.
