We picked up food, sat down at home and tested the food for smell, appearance, taste and temperature retention. The rice was gluey and the vegetables were few. The taste was mediocre and food was Luke warm after 12 minute transport from store. Went back again a few days later and ordered the same thing. The price was off by about $3.40 over. I wasn't impressed by my 1st visit to this establishment. The young lady that initially helped me was nice but there were some pricing discrepancies that I didn't appreciate. After checking out the menu, I ordered a bowl for myself and the recommended student discounted tacos for my daughter which we were told they would be 7.99 for 2 tacos. I ordered two shrimp tacos for her. We had our assembled orders readied and went to pay. I would say the other individual that assembled our orders could have been a bit friendlier but hey, each to their own. I asked when ordering my meal for double protein and was informed about the extra charge. I paid and we left. Now as the pics show, the portions were very decent. I made a massive burrito that took two servings to finish. The food itself was ok. No flavors really jumped out and everything was fairly cold by the time we got home after a 7 minute drive from the restaurant. Online they were promoting a Scorpion based chicken burrito which was why I wanted try them out. Turns out it was just Scorpion Tabasco sauce they offered on the side... However my main complaint was upon checking the receipt I saw a 2 dollar upcharge for the shrimp?? Never once did anyone tell me that I would be charged more, which wouldn't even be an issue. My takeout order went to this place (Clark) by accident, usually I order at a place that is closer to my house. Once I realized this, I called them immediately and asked to cancel and was told that order is almost ready and they can't cancel. They hung up on me after saying that, so I called again and told that I am going to report this as a charge I did not authorize to a credit card company. They said: ok. After about 5 minutes, I decided to go there as they were just 25 minute ride away (my regular place is 10 minutes). After all, I'd spend more time reporting wrong charge to a credit card company. When I arrived, they could not find my order. I told them that I called and was told that "the order is almost ready". Their response was amusing : "We gave your order to people in need"! After that, they said that they are going to make good on it and assembled my order in few minutes. One dish that I ordered was completely cold. read more

Man... Bubbakoos is far far better then the other popular Mexican fast food place. Yes it's pricer, especially with the add ons but it's very good. I usually have 2 meals with just one order. This location is the only one I'll go to now. The restaurant is always kept super clean and the staff is always super friendly. I do order online from the app most of the time, and one thing that they do great is follow the "special instructions" you put with any order you place. The food here was ok, not great but not awful either. My review is based on the customer service, which was abysmal. 1st I ordered in their website, which seemed easy enough. The problem is they forced you to pay be credit card (which is also fine) but they also told you they were SAVING your credit card info. There is no opt out option of this. I actually believe this is a violation of various information privacy laws but I digress. 2nd was fact my order was wrong. When I got to the store to pick it up, the bag was already packed. I asked the staff member to confirm I had the chips I ordered in the bag. She insisted they were on the bottom (foreshadowing: when I go home there were none. The next order mistake was on the chicken wings. They were clearly listed as chicken wings on my receipt. I even paid extra for blue cheese. When I returned home discovered they instead gave me boneless wings and no blue cheese. This led to the 3rd problem: I tried to contact them to get this fixed. Their phone system directs you to their website to order or to "press one for an associate". When you press one you are directed not to an associate but a voicemail box which is full. All in all, don't waste your time with this place. There are several other good options in the area for tacos/Mexican food. Just go to one of them, it will will be far less frustrating and the food will probably be better. read more

We saw this place and we're excited to give it a try. We were completely disappointed. The food was cold when we got home which is 5 minutes away and the chips were definitely stale. The rice ball was inedible. Sticky, plain, and hard rice in a hard fried coating that was all completely plain. Flavorless and expensive. We are chipotle people but wanted to try the new place in town. They have a much larger selection than chipotle and other burrito places. Even with the larger selection I will say the food isn't as good as chipotle. I feel like it's missing some flavor or spice. They cut the chicken and steak up way too small. So small it looked like it was part of the pico. I felt like I ate a lettuce, rice and salsa only taco. Another burrito place that gives you free tortilla chips with your order. Just like others those free chips are always stale. I love the concept of giving them but if they are always stale don't bother! Hot salsa wasn't hot, pico didn't have any real flavor to it either. Like I said overall it's missing something like spices and other flavor. Might try again but probably sticking with chipotle! read more

We came to this new spot in Clark and order take outs. I was pleasantly surprise. Not your traditional Mexican food but comparable to chipotle. The service was fast and no lines or wait. The portion much larger than chipotle and tasty. One order can feed 2 people unless you like to eat. I would definitely come here again. Great go-to spot. read more

Soooo good!! Finally tried it as per our son's suggestion. We were disappointed again by the Clark Chipotle. They pick and choose when they want to be open. They suck! So my husband suggested trying out Bubbakoo's Burritos. Wow!! The service was great and the food is way better than chipotle. Omg!!! So tasty and flavorful. The guac tasted fresh and homemade. I came in to this place for the first time later in the day (around 2pm) so I was a little worried about the freshness of the food, but my husband & I were not disappointed! Everything was delicious, fresh and a good sized portion (large but not so large that I was left feeling grossly full after like some other Mexican/southwest fast food places). I had a shrimp burrito bowl and my husband had a grilled chicken burrito. The shrimp was a premium selection and made when ordered. I liked the variety of topping choices which were all also fresh & tasty. I want to try their chips next time - they looked like good quality and were hard to resist! read more

Our takeout in January 2021 was good. Burritos and a quesadilla. The burritos were a little soggy when we got them home, but my wife reminded me that all takeout burritos we have ever purchased from any restaurant are that way (nature of the beast), so no penalty for Bubbakoo's. My chili shrimp burrito tasted good; heated up the next day in toaster oven it dried out and tasted great also. Sides were good. We will try this again, and just heat up burritos in oven when we get them home, to dry them out and crisp them up, before eating. read more
