VERY simple looking from the outside but extremely inviting atmosphere and decor when you get in. It is street parking only on a busy main street. I got lucky and scored a spot directly in front of the restaurant on this rainy evening. We started with the Quesadilla with steak in a corn tortilla. This is what really brought it down from 5 to 4 stars. Keep in mind, this was the equivalent to our appetizer, so we were very nervous after this. Extremely lack luster. Disappointingly little steak and even less cheese. It was as if we were eating a piece of a corn tortilla. Avoid the quesadilla. We then shared an order of enchiladas. Things were getting better. Enchiladas were solid. Nice kick to the green sauce with pieces of pineapple to hit you with a left hook. Came with rice and beans as well. This could've been a meal but we decided to share this to try different things. The burrito was the final thing on the menu. I got the Al Pastor burrito and it was excellent. Very tasty and well put together. Only thing that struck me odd was that it came with French fries opposed to rice and beans. I kind of would've enjoyed it a lot more with the rice and beans as the fries were average at best. I ordered online as I was stuck in traffic and everything was ready when I got there, which was prior to the estimated pickup time. All in all, very solid meal and there's plenty of seating if you're looking to dine in as well.

We were a bit chaotic, my son broke a plate as soon as we sat down, but the server was nice he cleaned it up and didn't make a fuss. And then my son spilled his water. It was not our day! But we were super excited to try the food. My husband ordered the tacos de carne asada and I had the Cesar salad with chicken. Both were really good. The Cesar salad was unique, it was 3 full pieces of romaine lettuce, I believe they were charred and the croutons were soft and delicious. The chicken and dressing were really good too. My husband thought the tacos were just okay. I think I'll come back and try more! I feel like the food took a while to get there, it seemed like other people that came after got their food first. But it wasn't too crazy. The bathroom was also really clean.

The food was good & nice plate presentation. My issue is cost. This is a Mexican restaurant in a strip mall. $14 maragarita. $15/Cab Sauvignon glass [the bottle is worth $20 at total wine]. Flautas appetizer was $14 and they were tasty and pretty but literally two tortillas cut in half (menu called mini tortilla). Club soda was $4. This place was nice and food passable but not worth that NYC prices they charged. I personally won't be back. The menu prices seemed elevated compared to the quality and portion size of the dishes.

It is the perfect combination of elegant and cool. The food is spectacular! When you go do not skip the guacamole and black truffle esquites (never got a chance to take a picture because we inhaled them)... but honestly each item we ordered was better than the last. The service is also exceptional. The staff is super friendly. We can't wait to come back!

The chicken was super tender and the sea bass was so soft, both had delicious flavors. Other items we ordered for the table were the guac (underseasoned), octopus, black truffle esquites, and tacos. The other stand out item was the tres leches for dessert. Unfortunately, the service was not good. The table next to us sat down after us, but got their food first, while we waited over an hour before our mains arrived. Overall, most of the food was overpriced, but the taste did make up a little for the lack of service.
