We ordered our daughter's birthday pizzas from here yesterday and had a phenomenal experience! I called Friday to ask if I could put an order in a day in advance. I was met with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone who told me, joyfully, "of course"! I put in an order for large 4 cheese pizzas. We picked up our order on time as we had requested which was a relief since it was our first time here. Everyone at Bruno's was very friendly! The pizzas were delicious and all our guests loved it. The crust was thin, cheese and tomato sauce was great quality and we were left wanting more! We will definitely be back to try different pizza toppings. read more

Great take out tonight from Bruno's! We got a blt sub and a pepperoni pizza-- both great. The BLT was our favorite with crispy bacon and soft bread. Worth the wait if you ask us. If I was going again I would definitely call ahead and plan more but it's certainly worth waiting for. read more

Thin pizza, not much flavor beyond a little char to the nicely droopy crust, but really captivating fresh flavor to the tomato sauce, and it didn't overwhelm the cheese. Even more flavor from the pepperoni, which leaked juices onto the platform admirably. Good pepperoni flavor, with some heat and a pleasant surprise in the sausagey flavor in addition to what you'd normally expect. Nice. Buffalo Wings: Served in a fried clam box container, extra hard shell crispy, with the Buffalo sauce cooked in rather than wet. I asked for and was cheerfully given a side cup of Buffalo sauce for dipping. Wings tasty with or without the extra piquant sauce, and the hard shell didn't interfere with a nicely juicy interior. Seating area was clean. It's a pizza place can't expect much but I would expect the food to be better than what was presented specially at the price a plate of ziti with sauce on it $11 is expensive for pasta and sauce and the pasta I believe it was weird tasting, but it could've been the sauce couldn't tell it all into mingled I went in and I looked at the board looking for something reasonable. I was actually looking for a 6 inch sub toasted, but couldn't afford a grinder. They were too expensive. Everything was overly priced and the ziti and sauce was lousy. I should've sent it back for tasting weird I didn't purchase a soda at first, but after eating the weird tasting ziti and sauce, I had to break down to get a can of soda which cost me two dollars and it wasn't a high price brand name just so that I could get rid of the taste in my mouth read more

Just received my order of chicken broccoli ziti. I received chicken, broccoli and pasta with zero sauce. The dish was very dry without any sauce. Could not eat I tried calling. I am very picky with pizza. Moving from the North Shore, I did not think I would find pizza around this area that I would eat. As long as I order the pizza "well done", it's good. Typically takes 45 minutes when you order ahead, no matter what time I order. The men that work there are not the friendliest. Kind of caught me off guard for a small town pizza shop. This place is pretty lame. We called last night for an order of a pizza, pesto bread, two eggplant, subs, and a french fry. They told us 25 minutes. I got there right at 25 minutes. The pizza and bread were ready and they give them to me. Them I sat there for another 15 minutes while they made the subs and the french fries. By the time we got home, the pizzas were cold. The eggplant subs were soggy messes because they didn't toast the bread before they put on the eggplant and sauce. Who does that? A waste of $51. Was not worth $25 with the effort that was put in. Good pizza, but when I ordered two hot subs and two pizza's. I was told 40-45 minutes. Usually they are slow and are behind given time slot. So I arrived at 50 minutes. Was told to it's on its way. I could see me hot subs sitting on the counter. 15 minutes later I watch them make my pizzas. Five minutes later they are put into the oven. Needles to say after seeing my subs sit for over 25 minutes they where ice cold. Extremely rude to there customer when I asked if my subs are now cold. It's a shame because they have hood pizza but just don't want to treat customers nice. read more

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had. I am not from around here but me and my boyfriend who lives around here always make sure to come by. The pizza is insane and the service is really good. Eating in is a good experience, and there are outdoor tables too which is a nice atmosphere. Never got delivery before, they could crash into my dining room and I'd still give a 10/10 rating. Customer service is excellent and i love that they do slices. Super convenient when I'm in town for a business meeting. I just think the spot itself needs major upgrades. The ceiling tile has serious ventilation and water damage and walls and boards need severe attention and the furniture could use an upgrade as it's super old. Good little sub shop. We got lunch here a few days in a row. The subs are pretty good. I've had a turkey sub, an Italian, and a meatball all from here. The cold subs could use a little more meat in them if you ask me, but they are tasty and certainly big enough for me. The meatball sub is pretty good - I found the sauce to be lacking, but the meatballs are huge and the cheese is all nice and melty on it. It's a cute little shop with only a few tables to sit at. The guys that work there are really nice but very hard to understand on the phone (they don't speak English here when talking to each other as they work). Prices are all right, for Groton. Best pizza I have had in the North west Middlesex area. Refreshing to have found Italian pizza instead of Greek.

Our go to pizza place in town! We love their sauce, I like my crust a little more crispy but taste is fantastic. I'm also obsessed with the onion rings and French fries. We recently got a chicken parm. dinner - it had crushed tomato as the sauce with zero seasoning and tasted as though both the chicken and pasta had been sitting for a week. Husband got a sub that had only steak tips (and had the amount of meat you expect to see from Subway)- though he didn't ask for extras he assumed it came with some sauce, lettuce and tomato or they would've asked. I do agree with previous posters comments on the ventilation issue And some of the men aren't the friendliest. read more

Best pizza I've ever eaten and definitely my go to for a quick slice. All the kids at the Groton Dunstable Middle School come here on half days when walking downtown so it gets crowded, but you can call in your order and the pizzas are not too expensive. A "slice" of pizza is only $3 and they cut it very big so it's basically 2 slices. Fries are also really good here and nicely crispy. The workers are not very interactive with their customers, but it's not something I mind since most people usually come here for takeout anyways. I come here often, will coming here, and definitely suggest this place to anyone who likes a slightly thinner crust but a nice amount of cheese. read more

My first experience at Bruno's was quite good. I had the Carnivale pizza and it was wonderful. That's why Bruno's is getting 2 stars rather than 1. However my second experience was so terrible I may never go back. I ordered take out one night at 7:45 (45 minutes before the closing time stated on their menu). After placing my order of pizza and buffalo wings, the man on the phone was overly quick with me stating that they closed in 15 minutes and wanted to know when I'd be there to pick up the order. I was taken aback, but I live close by so I said 10 minutes, and that's when I arrived. I really wish I had looked at my food before I left because the pizza was WAY undercooked; it was like soup, barely edible, and the pieces were dripping with a watery substance. Then when we opened up the buffalo wings we found they weren't buffalo wings at all - just regular chicken wings. It was very disappointing. If just one of these things happened I would consider it an honest mistake. However, the attitude of the man who took my order and the resulting mistakes make me think they really don't care about their customers. It's not my fault if the menu says the wrong time! I've only lived there a year and a half so the menu couldn't have been that old. You just can't take out your frustrations on your customers! read more

Pizza is pricey, but worth every penny. The Bruno pizza (special) is unreal...sauteed onions, ricotta cheese, italian sausage, pine nuts...it's sweet, and just outright my favorite. They have a buffalo sauce I think they use on pizza's but you can get it with chicken fingers, holy cow is that good (orange color, not franks red hot). Fresh ingredients abound. Hamburger and BLT subs are excellent, subtle twists on continental favorites. They also do wraps and cold subs which offer healthy alternatives as well. Bruno's doesn't sell cookie-cutter pizza, its unique and tasty and comes with excellent topping combos such as the Tour of Italy, San Remo (pine nuts?!), Steak and Cheese and Fort. Moreover, you can easily get to know the guys running it, which gives it all the more charm. Good Bruschetta, abundant dinner menu mostly under $15. read more

have gone multiple times and always satisfied. the pizza is high quality, almost gourmet but the affordable version. the dough/crust especially. fries are also good but really it's just the place to go regardless of what pizza you're looking for. one time we got a really complicated pizza at their rush hour and one topping was missing so they more than made up for it with a small pizza all we had to do was pick it up. So disappointed! We have ordered pizza from Bruno's a few times and I have to say the food quality on the last 2 orders was terrible. I recently spent $83 for 3 pizzas, 3 orders of onion rings and an order of fries and the best part of that order was the over cooked onion rings. The veggie pizza was soggy and the toppings were not fresh, not to mention the overcooked fried cubes which I think were eggplant. The meat lovers pizza had mystery meat that I couldn't decipher what kind of meat it was except for the pepperoni because of the shape and again this pizza was not nothing to write home about either. The Tuscan pizza with pesto, chicken, banana peppers and artichoke hearts was the best of the 3 pizzas even with the dried chicken. We were feeding 6 people and 3 were men with heavy appetites and had a lot leftovers no one wanted to take any home. I have had better pizza from the grocers freezer. I will not be returning to Bruno's and will not recommend it to anyone. read more
