Food was really good. Probably one of the best places for breakfast/brunch just based on the quality of the food alone. I knocked it down one star due to the slight awkwardness when you walk in. It isn't clear whether you seat yourself or are supposed to wait as there is no host stand or sign. My husband and I have been back to Bruncheon a number of times and have not been disappointed. The food is consistently good. Saturdays are getting really crowded and they don't serve the lunch menu on that day. That's okay since we usually go for breakfast. Give it a try. Great coffee too. read more

Went with a friend n his food looked delicious (blueberry French toast). Mine however, not so much....I had the very basic traditional breakfast, eggs scrambled w/cheese, wheat toast, hashbrowns, n bacon. The hashbrowns were burned, the bacon was chard, n the eggs were not seasoned at all. At some point I asked the waitress for new hashbrowns n the cook quickly brought out another plate of hashbrowns that were lukewarm. I had no intentions of complaining about the food although I didn't eat all of it, but the waitress noticed and asked if everything was OK I replied no the bacon was also burnt along with the hashbrowns. She then said I will let the manager know as she took the plate away. I had no idea what she meant by that and continue with my conversation with my friend. A man approached the table w/o an introduction n attempted to berate me like a child saying something to the nature of I ate 3 slices of bacon n I ate most of the food. I stopped him in mid sentence bc I had no idea what he was talking about. I replied to him and said I did not complain about my food, she asked me about my food and I told her my thoughts. So if you're asking if I enjoy my meal the answer is no. Furthermore, I did not ask for anything to be comped or exchanged other than the hashbrowns. He then went on to say if there's a problem you need to tell us earlier in your meal versus at the end of your meal n he had a very nasty attitude. I informed him that I had no intentions of complaining about my meal although I did not enjoy it so whatever it is that the waitress told him I was not sure and it was not that I had told her to tell him. He then walked away saying he would have a talk with the waitress I said no she did the right thing by asking if I enjoyed my food or if there was an issue when she noticed that there was still food on my plate. You should probably talk to your cook about preparing burned food, She did the right thing by noticing and making you aware I think that's all she intended to do. He stormed off to go get the waitress and returns our table which results in a debate Between the two of them and my friend and I are in complete awe of the manager's vile behavior. He lacked professionalism, people skills, and had extremely poor communication skills. He refused to listen to me, my friend, n his own employee the waitress. When he realized he was out numbered n he literally threw his hands up n walked away. The waitress then tells us he treats all of them like that and she doesn't care what he says she will be comping my meal. So I can only assume that she knew my food was subpar and she went to get his probation to comp the meal (on her own recognizance not my request) and he took issue with the portion of food that had been consumed. I mentioned to him that I would be certain to leave a review n his response was you just be honest n tell this happened at the end of your meal. I responded, the timing does not matter I did not make a request nor did I have intentions of making you aware of my dissatisfaction of the food and the service received however since you approached me with such a distasteful attitude n unable to remedy the situation in a respectful and professional manner I'll be certain to let the public know. In addition the waitress informed us that this guy was the owner of the restaurant meanwhile he insisted that he was only the manager. I even said your waitress says that you are the OWNER not the manager, are you the owner? He replied no I am just a manager. Once he walked away I told the waitress what he said about being the owner n she said he is lying he is the owner! This man and his rude and daunting behavior is complete TRASH! There's no way that a person with this type of toxicity should be operating with the public and expecting their money in exchange for what we received today! Not certain abt the rapport between him and his employees but if it's anything remotely close to what we endured, I pray that these folks realize their worth and walk the fuck out! read more

This restaurant is absolutely terrible. We arrived when there were only a couple tables occupied. The waiter ignored us for 20 minutes before we could order our food. Within that time the restaurant gets another four tables to sit down. They had all ordered before our waiter came back to take our order. Fast forward another 40 minutes and we still did not have our food. We kept asking where our food is and all they would say is it's coming out. The four tables that walked in after us had already paid and left. After being there an hour with still no food, we left the restaurant still starving. read more

I love this place! Their signature pineapple upside-down pancakes are to die for! Seriously, try them!!! I have enjoyed the blueberry pancakes and plain as well. The flavor of the pancake itself is just so good! They have good eggs Benedict as well. My husband has enjoyed every egg and meat meal he has oredered. They have lattes, iced coffee, and great drip coffee. The atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly and attentive. Will try the oatmeal or parfait next time!!! read more

We visite for the first time, the place was packed. Once seated we notice how Lond it was in there but if the food was good we're good. When I got my coffee it spilled when she put it on the table. The water and drinks would spill every time I sat my phone down the table kept shaking. I asked our waitress if we could move to a more stable​ seat and she said yes a booth and table just came open. This place is pretty bangin' for being a brand new spot in Cityline. It's the comfort breakfast food for me, they've got all the greatest hits and then some. Had the benedict with salmon, so good but the potatoes were a bit undercooked, would have been perfect if they were done right. Great staff, great service, and some of the BEST NY cheesecake I've had in a while! The owner stopped by to chat with us a bit, a very nice guy who really puts a lot into this establishment. Understandable that it's a new place and they may still need to work on a few kinks (no host stand, food consistency), but we will definitely be back! read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would! This place is NOT kid friendly. Staff was incredibly RUDE to my 1 year old granddaughter, constantly coming over to the table insisting that we make her stop crying. Everyone know that 1 year old children cry, and sometime there is NOTHING that can be done to make them stop. We shouldn't be forced to leave or be hovered over by staff (who wasn't even our server) while finishing our meal. The entire staff needs hospitality training. I would 100% NOT recommend bringing children into this place. We will never go back again!!! read more

First time there. Sunday for brunch. Very busy but wait time was reasonable. Our son had chicken and waffles--very good and large portion! Bacon and ham was good. Husband had French toast and like to very much. I had breakfast tacos with sausage and added avocado. Avocado was an extra $3.50 but they gave me a lot. All staff was very nice. Very friendly staff and excellent coffee, we went on a Saturday morning at 10:00am and the place was full. Ordered the steak and eggs, the steak very tender but quite over-salted in my opinion. Hash browns were cooked well and seasoned beautifully. If you get a side order of pancakes with your meal, be aware that they are smaller than if you order the regular pancake plate off the menu. Not sure what the other poor reviews are talking about...this place was awesome. Our server, Beto, was attentive, friendly, and fast. I had the Migas with chicken and ham which was seasoned perfectly. Lots of flavor. Even my side of avocado came with olive oil salt and pepper. Beautiful plating. My boyfriend had the pancakes, (which were the best pancakes ive had in a long time) eggs, hashbrowns and a side of grilled chicken. Everything was also seasoned. We even got to chat with the Owner. I was looking online for a place to have brunch and came across this gem! We were seated immediately on an early Saturday morning and within seconds, greeted by our server, Michael. Michael was great; he gave honest feedback on food items we questioned, and made great suggestions. He delivered impeccable service and great food. We ordered Crab Benedict, with a side of salmon, and Chicken fried chicken, which was extremely flavorful. We had not one complaint about our visit.
