I'm not sure if it was just on the day I went or if it's the norm, but this was definitely a younger crowd. Me and my wife were seated as soon as we walked in. They had a DJ and then also there was karaoke going on as well. The food looked really good, even though we did not order any, we just came for the vibes and drinks. Too many kids walking around in this type of environment for my liking, literally saw someone twerking and then brought in the car seat immediately after with the baby...I can't make this up! Lol. My wife also let me know that the bathroom was not the cleanest and she decided to wait until we got back to the hotel.

Phelo Norman, said he worked at this restaurant as the Executive Chef and does private catering. We booked him for a dinner event. He took our $700 deposit and communicated until the day of and ghosted us. Brunch House do better and don't hire SCAM artist.

Brunch House was really fun, and the servers were so nice. The whole place felt like a giant party inside a restaurant. It did take a little while to place our orders, but our server was amazing, and once we ordered, the food came out in about 10 minutes. I'd definitely come back and would recommend this spot to anyone looking to try some good soul food in Phoenix.

Jasmine & neckua were great!! They explained the menu so well and really made me feel welcomed. The food and ambiance were amazing. I had the seafood grits. It's on the menu twice for some reason?? I also asked for a little extra Cajun butter. It was a hit! And the presentation was great. We had the mimosa flight with tequila. It comes with 4 (my picture didn't capture but 3) . They were a hit! Definitely got tipsy! And the oxtails and grits were cooked and seasoned perfectly. They had a live dj around 10 am. I flew in from TX & whenever I come back, I'll definitely hit them again. I came on a Friday morning

Brunched 8.16.25: First timer. Brought my friends from out of state here. They had the Oxtail & grits and loved every bite! Not sure what my breakfast special was called but it came with fried catfish (that looked like chicken strips) not sure if it was really catfish w/ all the breading but it was tasty. My plate also came with eggs, home potatoes (which I got toast instead) and 2wedges of French toast which I took home due to all the carbs. Food was good & although the place was busy, we were seated quickly w/ our reservation (be sure to make one). Place was spacious, had tvs, live DJ who played good music. 2 things that were "eh" for me was the tiny cup they gave me when I asked for hot sauce vs a bottle & the karaoke on wknds UGH....I could do w/o. We went from jammin' to the DJ to random people squealing terribly attempting to sing (which is fine at a bar & when you've had several drinks) but in the daytime, ugh it was painful. Also, there's a 20% on EVERY check, so be aware before you end up double tipping (unless that's your thing).

Loved the food!! I was skeptical of this place at first because of the crowd and how turnt up the people were. This place was lit!!!!! I made reservations and, was seated maybe 15mins or so after my reservations. We were well taken care of and the food was soon good!!!

This place was great. Service was very friendly and it had a welcoming atmosphere. The best part was the food though. We kind of balled out and got some of everything and not one to go plate was needed. My favorite thing was definitely the oxtail and grits. I would fly back just to have another bowl of that. We had an amazing time and I will definitely be returning when on this side of the country again!! Do yourself a favor and go!

My grand mother and her sister decided to try out the brunch house. She stated that the service wasn't great. It took 45 minutes to get their food, which was over cooked and cold. The server disregarded their concerns. And to top off, we see the receipt and she called them table 3 old ladies. So, apparently they should put up and age restrictions on what crowd they are catering too!!!!! It's disappointing that a local community spot conducts business this way.

Decided to come in during the week for a new breakfast spot to try. We ended up sharing the brunch house special- jerked lamb chops, fried lobster tail, collard greens and a red velvet waffle. Food was good and fresh. The collard greens however I would not try again. I'm not sure what it was about them. Everything else was on point. Service was good. The restaurant was empty so we expected good service. Ambience to the location is nice as well. Would definitely like to come back when it a busy day

Came here on a Monday around 12 noon. The restaurant was super empty. Only about 4 parties there. Our server was the only one working the restaurant but with limited guest she was moving quickly. While we were eating one of the owners, Donald, came out to check on us. The restaurant has plenty of booths, a bar and some table tops. I saw a DJ set up, I'm assuming for their weekend brunch. No DJ on the day we went but the playlist was a whole vibe. I ordered the oxtail and grits with the peach cobbler drink. Oxtails we're cooked perfectly, the grits were savory and the gravy from the oxtails was the perfect add. Honey had the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and sausage was seasoned well. She said her lemon drop was on par with others.

Ask the Community - Brunch House

Will there be a DJ playing on Fridays?

Only Saturday's and Sunday's, day party vibes

    Do you need a reservation?

Not Mon-Friday. Highly suggested for Saturday's and Sunday's as it's our busiest operating days. Hookah is also more popular on weekends.

    Are kids allowed here?

They are allowed but it's very loud. It's more like a party atmosphere.

The interior is pretty long with a large number of seating inside the building so we had no trouble getting seated right away by the hostess. We decided on food relatively quickly due to previous experience with the business, however, our waiter never came around to take our orders or even give us water at the table. We saw one girl with dyed hair who unassumingly could have been our waiter since she was in our section but only worked with one particular table and ran to the back after each time, but never addressed our table or came by. We eventually had to flag a different waiter down who was able to help us place the order and service us for the rest of our visit, she also informed us that this other "Waiter" was supposed to help us but she wasn't sure why she never made an attempt to do so after having us wait 20 mins and other tables were being serviced. We ordered Flordian French Toast and Elote Breakfast Burrito (plus a couple sides and drink) which were both really good, and filling. Prices weren't too bad for what we ordered and was able to take our mind off of the rather long wait to get helped. Not sure if we'll come back to this particular location again, but it was nice trying the restaurant out another time.

One thing to know is there is no table service. You order at the counter and they have a lot of choices so if you have never been there it's hard to decide while other people are waiting behind you. I came with my mom and we were craving pancakes so again didn't get any eggs which is what they are known for and their breakfast pizzas. So I'll come back to try those. We split buttermilk pancakes and a cinnamon roll. They do have real maple syrup but of course they up charge for the good stuff. The pancakes are ok but don't taste like buttermilk pancakes. They looked good but it definitely tasted like a mix and not a good one. They were way overly sweet. They weren't terrible but just not great. 4/10 on the pancake scale. The cinnamon roll also tasted like a store bought premade roll. It was also kind of burnt and didn't taste like anything. The only good thing was the coffee which I was highly skeptical about because it was serve yourself from a carafe. But it was good and strong. Nice views of the mountains and the patio is dog friendly. I want to like this place because it's in my neighborhood so next time I'll try the eggs dishes. Also they have several veggie/vegan selections so I'll come back for those too and to bring my dog.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay, and the overall property has a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. We booked an upgraded suite with a separate bedroom and TV room, which gave us plenty of space to spread out. While the layout was great, the room itself could use some updates. The bathroom fixtures were older--the Kohler toilet didn't flush well and was a bit noisy, and the tub/shower combo had rounded sides that made it tricky to stand comfortably. The shower water also never got fully hot. The room had a slightly musty smell, and the carpets would benefit from a deep cleaning. The balcony screen door didn't close tightly, which let a few flies in, and access to the second floor required two sets of stairs since there's no elevator in that section. Even with those issues, the resort's location, views, and overall vibe made the stay enjoyable. With some room refreshes and a bit more maintenance attention, this could easily be a standout property. The setting alone is worth experiencing.

I found a great AAdvantage Hotel deal at the Hilton Phoenix Tapatio Cliffs Resort and booked it. While it was a great success of a visit in terms of AAdvantage miles and loyalty points, my actual experience at the hotel itself was less to be desired due to the customer service and a big snafu on their part. I also have Hilton Gold status, though as I booked the hotel through a third party site (AAdvantage Hotels), I could see the stay and the stay history in my Hilton app, but I did not receive any benefits for staying there, which was fine as I didn't expect any anyone. I arrived in person to check in and already reserved and prepaid for a King 1 Bedroom Standard Suite, which had a nice view and reasonably spacious room (but not too much larger than a regular room at another hotel). The room was certainly not upgraded though there was parking available right in front of the entrance. I did not receive anything else at check-in nor did it appear that I'd get my regularly complimentary water. I did pay the daily resort charge which includes high speed internet access, access to the Falls Water Village, an hour at the tennis/pickleball court, an hour at the afternoon golf practice facility, two hours for a mountain bike rental, 20% off seasonal spa services, and 15% off select golf apparel. While I didn't use it, I had easy view and access to the Falls Water Village where you could lounge and play all day on their sun-marked terrace where you could find free-form pools, hot tubs, and cabanas. They even have a 138-foot enclosed water slide. When I checked out, I was told that a bill would be sent to me shortly since I did it on the app early, and when I received the bill, there was a charge for my room at the restaurant at the top of the hill called A Different Point of View. The catch is that I never went to eat there during my stay (or at any onsite restaurant since I live in the area and had my meals offsite). I reached out to the hotel who insisted that I did go there to eat. I promised them I didn't eat anywhere onsite and that they need to look at the receipt and see if it actually has my room number. They confirmed it did and that this meant I ate there. I told them to find my name on it and let me know if it was on there. After several more back and forth conversations, they confirmed it wasn't me and would remove the charge. They then mistakenly charged me double. Then they removed one charge, but it took more than a week before they removed the other charge. By the end of the exchanges, it felt like they were blaming me for their own mistake. While the resort is aged and rather pleasant, there certainly are training issues regarding the customer service offered at this property. I do not plan on staying here again in the future.
