Matcha latte
Africancrab A.

A welcome as I walked through the door. I was asked to seat were I wanted to. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was because no one gave me a menu for 5 solid minutes. I went up to the counter, and asked if they had a digital menu, the gentleman said no, but did not offer a menu. I saw a paper menu by the check out counter, took a look, and then ordered at the counter. Service was fast after I placed the order. I got the salmon Benedict with salad and a side of hash brown. For drink, I got the matcha latte which was delicious. The interior is well laid and beautifully decorated with peony flowers as the man features- thus the name.

Brunch at Peony is a nice breakfast/lunch spot in Suwanee. It is located on Old Atlanta Road and offers plenty of parking, interior and exterior seating. does the location look like (interior, exterior, seating, parking, are they dog friendly, etc). The price for food was comparable to the quantity/quality of what you get! My husband and I arrived around lunchtime during the weekend, and we did not have to wait long to be seated. The food and service were both great. The portions were quite large leaving me to have leftover to take home.

This is now my favorite breaks and brunch place in town. Bonus: it is 15 minutes from home!! Caffe latte is one of the best tasting. Big portion as well. I am only able to finish 1/2 and always carry home the other half.

Latte, Einspanner

My husband and I have frequented Brunch at Peony for several years. Anna knows our coffee order by heart (hazelnut oatmilk latte and Einspanner) and tells barista Mika as soon as we sit down with just a nod I can't believe I haven't left a review already. The whole staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh, beautiful and consistently satisfying. They do not take reservations but if we ever need to wait it's always worth it! Xoxo

Amazing food and Staff. Food this gem on our first visit of our business/pleasure trip.

I really love the food and drink presentation! The place is small with only small round tables so I would recommend for large groups. They do have a small area of outdoor seating but I wouldn't come with no more than a party of 4. The service was very nice and the portion sizes were very reasonable for the prices. As long as they keep the health score, I will definitely be back.

Not the biggest place in the world, plenty nice inside, but way way too hot inside. Like uncomfortably warm. Also the employees only doors in the small hallway are very dangerous, a worker busted and my my foot while I was the way to the bathroom, and it actually hurt. Between that and our non smiling server I can't say I loved the service. My safe rates her toast a 4/10 and I give the same to my burger... The ingredients are fine and fresh enough, but it just didn't come together in a special way at all. Beef wasn't seasoned, they declined cooking it medium rare, and the bacon was INSANELY overcooked. I would come back to try the chicken and waffles as a last chance, but there's nothing special there I won't be back.

Very pretty cafe, all the food is pretty and Instagramable food. The cafe is small. They are busy on the weekends but the wait isn't too long. Service is good, friendly, and Plenty of parking. The only reason I gave one star less is prices are a little on the more expensive side for what it is and portion sizes. But loved it and will be back !!!

Sunday brunch with friends. We did not make a reservation but did call the restaurant to confirm seating availability. Cute and quiet spot for small groups. The menu offered a descent selection of food, and the coffee was good as well. Pancake - Dutch Baby - was quite eye catching. There was fruit on almost every dishes, which I liked for brunch. Our server was very nice as well.

Omelette and hash browns

This spot is an absolute hidden gem for this area. You'd never know, since it's in a plaza slightly angled away from the road. My mother wanted to go here since her friend told her about it, so we decided to brave the weather and head out for an early Mother's Day brunch. There's limited parking in the lot here. Since it's a Saturday the Tae Kwon Do spot was busy and so was brunch! Waited about 30-40 minutes for a table but got in and was addressed immediately. Our server was efficient and professional, Didn't catch her name but she was friendly and helpful. We ordered: croque madame with season potato wedges (me), my father got the bacon and egg Dutch Baby pancake, and my mother got the omelette with hash browns. First off, this is a high quality brunch spot. The dishes came out quickly and looked beautiful. I mowed my sandwich down (great job on the sunny side up runny egg, chef!) and it was all I could do not to eat all the fries. My father never had a Dutch baby before but he looked like he enjoyed it. My mother doesn't eat much but I tried her hash browns and it was more like a latke with onions and seasoning with them, crunchy exterior was satisfying. I've had a Dutch baby before, this was really delicious and had a hint of sweetness to go with the salt of the bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and cheese. We tried to get in and out as quickly as we could. There were people coming in constantly and with the rain- no patio seating. I said to my parents- this is not an "every week" type brunch place, but it certainly could be once a month. Quality, service, the food- all fantastic! There are a few seats at the coffee bar if you wanna brave sitting at the counter. Support small owned businesses!

Special breakfast with pancakes. Not a huge fan of the hashbrowns.

Great little place for brunch. The Dutch babies are wonderful. Not a huge fan of the hashbrowns. I will probably pass on those next time. They also need to fix their soda machine. It would be nice if they had Diet Coke as well.

Such a cute cafe vibe inside. I got the Shrimp Dutch baby. It was so delicious and unlike anything I've ever had before! I would order it again for sure. The service was great too. Speedy and attentive. Highly recommend Brunch at Peony for brunch with the girls!

Pretty girl drinks

So today I wanted to do some pretty girl s**t, so I went to get brunch. The past 3 years, Japan has been obsessed with Dutch Baby (like a crepe mixed with a Yorkshire Pudding). So strange that most US places market Japanese fluffy pancakes, when they are not as popular in Japan as dutch baby is in Japan. Once you try dutch baby you will understand... It's also kinda easy to make at home. I've been making it often using the NYT recipe and putting powdered sugar and lemon on top. Basically, I've now tried all of the spots that serve dutch baby in Metro Atlanta now, the most popular being this spot. The dutch baby pancakes are 5 stars, best I've ever had. High sides, crispy, not too eggy. All other dishes and drinks are 3 stars. They are slammed during all open hours. Minimal tables and no waiting area, just a tiny cafe that didn't expect to be hyped. Food comes out quick and there is outdoor seating.

The restaurant is a little on the small side, but there were plenty of tables for our family. They had live music, which was kind of neat. We ordered four burgers and some wings. The burgers came with fries and a drink if you got the combo. The girl at the register was friendly and the place was clean. Our food came out pretty quickly, but unfortunately, the only thing that was actually warm were the fries. All four burgers were really dry, and the wings were basically like jerky. Which was a shame because the sauce on the wings was actually really good! For $75, we just didn't feel like it was worth it. We've honestly had better burgers at fast-food places. Maybe we just caught them on an off night, but unfortunately, we probably won't be back.

I noticed that ownership had changed so I hoped that the menu hadn't.... then there it was the Cheeeezy for $8.99 so I ordered it and added the regular fries and drink for an additional $4.99. So with tax and tip it was $18! Burger, fries and a soda sad just sad. Anyhoo I very seldom ever get a burger unless at Village burger or Culvers. The fries here are hand cut but mine were over done and when my Cheeeezy was set before me my heart sank bc it didn't look like I remembered. The cheese wasn't dripping all throughout the meat but the bun was still upside down and nicely toasted. The first bite brought back the memory of the deliciousness I have been missing for 6 years. I got mayo and grilled onions on it along with Chipotle mayo to dip my fries in. Also my Barqs rootbeer was crisp and tasty. I'm not a soda drinker more of a water kinda gal but I do splurge on occasion. This was worth the splurge. While eating I noticed the health report posted on the wall as you exit and the score was 84 B, upon further inspection the 2 previous scores were 94 and 100 .... so definitely headed in the wrong direction. I didn't take the time to actually read the report bc the place looked clean to me and if there was mold on the soda nozzles (common occurrence with several points taken off for it) I didn't want to know so I finished my burger left most of the fries and it will probably be quite sometime before I'm back this way. They were doing a steady to go business but only 6 other people dining in besides myself.

The guy working the register is not really helpful and I think it may be because he doesn't speak english that well and tries to hide it. I asked if my bun could be toasted well and if the burger can be cut in half and he didn't add anything on the register, then when I stared at him waiting for him to add it, he dismissively turned to the cook and said "bun". When I got the burger, the bun wasn't really toasted and it wasn't cut in half, so I sent it back. The cook was very nice about it and brought it back out with no issues. The burger was good, but all of the food was really greasy. While eating the burger, grease began to drip down my hand and the fries/onion rings still looked wet. I ate this for dinner and woke up with the absolute worst headache that lingered for 3 days... Also, just a heads up that it is a la carte, so the drink and sides were an additional cost. The impossible was an upcharge, they don't sell small drinks, then the fronion rings all came to be about $20, which was pretty expensive. The location is tucked in a Kroger parking lot and wasn't busy when I went, which was later in the evening. The inside was very clean, nice and organized. It was also quiet inside, which I liked. Overall, I probably won't come back here because of the headache it gave me, but the burger was decent

We had some time for a few beers before an event in the area and found ourselves at Good Word. We tried a few samples, and eventually settled on a few different styles. All were delicious. Most breweries have a couple good ones, some mid, and some meh, but all of the beers we tried here were great. The same could not be said about the service, we had two bartenders, the first was friendly and helpful, the second not so much. If the attitude was better behind the bar, this would have been a 5 star review. They have a full bar, and we ordered.espresso martinis as our final round, well done and yummy. Would definitely return when back in the area, and hopefully be served by our first bartender.

Super appreciative of such technology. Parking was plentiful when we got there and we were able to park right next to the patio and front door.
