Very indifferent mgr and employees. The ordering system has been revamped and is the most illogical process. It creates tension amongst the workers and customers. They have the bagel baskets as far away from the ordering counter as possible. Makes no sense whatsoever. read more

I've TRIED to get a bagel here 3x in the last month on Saturday mornings. Today I walk in and there's no one at the register; 4 of 5 staff members making sandwiches, apparently no one in charge, no one looking in the direction of where customers are waiting, standing. No signage,no line, just people bunched up, waiting, looking irritated. Today a staff member came over, looking put out, took an order, took off to prepare the order, ignoring the other people lined up waiting to place orders. How about pay a couple of more dollars per hour to get older people who actually know what customer service is (or TAUGHT by their manager) and not caught up in what seems to be a movement that is making them imagine they are still going to be paid if they don't do their jobs. Oh, wait, they ARE being paid for that at Bruegger's. Name a single other restaurant that is STILL blocking off seating area after all this time with signage? At this point the place looks grimy since they aren't used OR clean looking. There are the same # of people working (2 or 3) that there always were when the seating was open, so THAT isn't an excuse either If this location fails they cannot blame it on "the pandemic" or any other lame reason associated with that. Unless you close at 10-11am don't operate like you are being inconvenienced by people coming in (not that the time matters at this location) Also, filling the coffee to the very rim won't make people stop wanting half & half you don't feel like filling. Between the few warm drops that were in the container, the warm creamer SINGLES she gave me instead after I had to call to the back area for anyone, and the non-fresh tasting cream cheese I was sick for 2 days., so NO LONGER worth the trouble for the previously great tasting bagels & coffee. Time to stop rewarding a business for ignoring the red flags that people over past few years have been letting them know about on Yelp & other reviews. If the franchisee wants to be hands off and not care, good luck with that, you've been told repeatedly. As far as Bruegger's corporate, the way the app is setup is intentionally misleading in order to get your free coffee with food / bagel purchase and you KNOW it. None of this is a surprise. I have stopped 4 times at 6:30 and they have only been open once. Can no longer eat inside. My wife stopped in yesterday to pick up some bagels for us and was totally in shock about her experience with the lack of professionalism she received from the 3 unsupervised girls working? She waited at the counter for several minutes hoping to grab some bagels and cream cheese for our Sunday morning. I've never been so jolly and golly until i walked into this establishment and was instantly hit with the sound of girls singing and listening to the hit classic, "Baby" by Justin Bieber, just could not get any better right? I ordered online for pick up. When my daughter picked up the order she checked to make sure it was correct. The bag contained 3 plain bagels NOT the everything and 2 5 cheese that were ordered. No warning, no call that my choices weren't available. My daughter went in to exchange the order and one of the employees was rude and unwilling to make it right. Here is a tip, don't fill the order if the customers choices are gone. I didn't want a plain bagel, if I did I would've ordered one and customer service is everything. Best bagels around! Thick, perfectly toasted, loaded with flavor. They have lots of different kinds of bagels, everything from blueberry, to cinnamon sugar, to cheese, to Everything bagels. They also have a wide variety of cream cheeses, my favorite being strawberry, traditional, and honey walnut. In addition to the bagels and spreads, they also have a nice variety of breakfast sandwiches and desserts. Short of traveling to NYC, this is the best bagel in the area. read more

Stopped in Friday 11am. One other customer before me. Totally ignored by 2 girls and given a hard time placing my order. In the past always the best service and this was a total disappointment. Staff was rude and cashier was in her phone and way too busy to help me. If they were busy maybe a pass but instead they should be retrained or replaced. Bagels were undercooked and cold. Stopped by to redeem a coupon for a big bagel bundle. Staff was very friendly, there was a large selection of bagels and cream cheese, and I had no problem redeeming the coupon. I always try to give the staff here the benefit of the doubt, maybe they are understaffed, maybe they are training, maybe they have a lot on their plates... however.. after many many chances I've given them they are constantly rude. This Bruegger's Bagels like other locations has great products although this store has a very limited supply frequently, their service however has allot to be desired of. Check your orders before you leave, as at least 80% of the time they attempt to seemingly intend to not fully fill the orders. Usually they will take the order at the bagel area, then someone else will run the register asking what you ordered & cash you out. Fairly consistently, then when handing you the order, it will be short an item or more. Then when approached you are treated as your are inconveniencing them to get what is missing that was paid for. If your not wise to this seemingly practice, you will find when you get home you didn't get everything. Be careful, these are not "honest mistakes". Be prepared for the staff even the owner operator to not be welcoming to then give you what you paid for when relayed. Other than the service, the products when available again are outstanding. read more

Product is fresh and high quality - worth getting out of my car and going in a store front vs. being lazy in a fast food drive thru that gives you a rubber sandwich. my sister went in today to get some breakfast for herself and a friend and had a nice conversation with a worker who she knew previously, however the other worker was extremely rude and unprofessional. she has previous PERSONAL problems with my sister and decided to not only fail to inform her that they were out of the bagel she wanted first, but then proceeded to say "everything is in here" and then DROP the bag on the counter so it fell over and give a snarky "thanks" after my sister told her to have a good day. i understand you may have some problems in your own personal life with someone but bringing it into your workplace is extremely immature. management seriously needs to think about who they have working there if this is how customers are going to be treated. read more

I've gone to this Bruegger's a number of times because it is about 30 seconds away. The convenience is the only thing that keeps me going back. The employees get my order wrong about half the time. They are constantly out of many varieties of bagels. The manager is an unpleasant person and I have seen him yell at employees on a number of occasions. Today\s experience may have been my last at this location. I ordered a chai tea and was charged. The employee then told me the machine wasn't even turned on and it would be 20 minutes at least until it would be ready. They did not offer a refund at that point and I just asked for a coffee. The coffee was extremely hot and they had no sleeves for the cup in the entire restaurant. I ended up burning my hand. The employee asked if I wanted room for cream and then proceeded to fill the cup up to the brink. They did not have any cream and they were also out of sugar. All of this happened while the manager was there and while they had FIVE employees working (more employees were there than customers). This store could desperately use a better manager as well as better training for employees. read more

Stopped in last week to get a bagel bunch for the office. There were 2 workers at the cash register, one for filling coffee ( I guess), the other ringing up sales. Then they had one person down at the end taking/filling orders for everything from bagel bunches to breakfast sandwiches, to single bagels. There was a line 6 or 7 people deep and this one poor worker trying to keep up, while the two down at the other end were kind of hanging out. I walked up to the cashier and asked if I could order a bagel bunch from her, since she was not doing anything and could easily walk down to end and grab bagels. She told me she could not, that I would have to wait in the line. Since I was in a hurry I left and went over to Panera (right around the corner) and was in/out in less than 5 min. My girlfriend and I go here about once a week. We generally get the same thing. They remember our order (which is pretty complicated - everything bagel, toasted, with smoked salmon, onion, tomato, and jalapeño cream cheese) and are friendly and chatty with us while we wait. On a number of occasions, they've thrown in the coffee for free. Good for a quick breakfast spot before you crush the weekend. Just remember to check for poppy seeds in your teeth. read more
