Staff was not very friendly. Man behind counter could not get off of his phone to speak with us, or kindly greet us. This was our first time at a Bruegger's location and it's safe to say we will not be back. I ordered a Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel add Plain Cream Cheese and I was given the bagel with maybe a spot of cream cheese on it. read more

Bruegger's Bagels - Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel w/ Plain Cream Cheese, although it seems they just cleaned the knife off on my bagel - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Madison, Alabama

Mondays are bagel day. I love Bruegger's Bagels' smoked salmon, cream cheese and red onion bagel sandwich. But you have to get there early for the warm bagels. Something about eating salmon for breakfast gives me a fresh alert feeling to start my week. Of course if you are not a fish person they have more traditional egg based bagel sandwich. So good either way and their coffee is wonderful too. So kick your drive through habit and walk in to Bruegger's and eat something comforting and tasty . So good! read more

Great service and reasonably priced. Food service is quick and all orders I have had were correct.

Such a delicious and fun place to eat! I'm not even a huge bagel fan but I loved eating here and am excited to come back!! The Zesty sauce was SO tasty and made my sandwich incredible. There is also plenty of seating in a very open dining room. The staff was super kind and gave great recommendations on what I'd like best. Definitely come try it yourself! read more

I just ordered the new double stack Says bacon egg cheese repeat. That two layers of egg cheese and bacon. I only got one layer and an extra egg. When I brought it up to them they acted like I was crazy. Then he said well the picture is cut in half. No it clearly states a double meat. Double egg and double cheese. For a $7 bagel sandwich I expect to get what I paid for. No offer of fixing it or reimbursement just blew me off literally. read more

This is my first time trying Bruegger's bagels and I definitely will be returning often. First of all the staff member at the front was super helpful and friendly and was able to answer all my questions. Secondly the food was super delicious but the bagels sell out really quickly on the weekends so you have to get there pretty early. Lastly the facility was really nice and cozy inside and also clean so you can sit down and enjoy your food while feeling at home. read more

The has been issues in the past that has made it difficult to trust this place. Now with Tiffany as manager she is turning this place around. The order today of farmhouse sandwich and hot coffee this time was perfect. With the current environment, I recommend this place. read more

The service at this Madison location is HORRIBLE. No eye contact, no greetings... Pre-covid there was a different attitude and friendly service. A sign that tells you to ORDER HERE at register would help but you can't see what bagels are available from that angle. And the people preparing orders will not look at you or tell you that they don't take the orders. A good business and/or manager should take pride in what they do and represent. I can't recommend food or service and i will not go back. read more

Replying to Robert the Manager with the canned response. You want me to fill out a form to complain and then if my issue is resolved give you a better review? That's not how it works you see the pictures and it is what it is. I should note that I filled out the survey on my receipt saying I did want to be contacted, that was two days ago and haven't heard a word. read more

Received a bagel sandwich for delivery, thought it tasted odd. Took a look at the eggs and they look and taste spoiled. I don't know how anyone prepared this and thought it was ok to give to someone to eat... I feel sick to my stomach that this was what was given to me. Completely inedible. read more

Bruegger's Bagels - Brunch out front in great WX - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Madison, Alabama

Don't even know why I tried again. Tried this place again on Saturday and to my surprise it still absolutely sucked. The service is always so terrible. Literally who is the manager? How do they just hang out in the back when the place gets busy. How are they always out of almost every bagel they offer. I will never try it again. Based off the reviews, I'm not the only one that feels this way. I'm not sure who owns the place or who actually runs it but you get paid to do a job. Go do your job. read more

This review is for the Madison location. I do like their bagels. However, the plain bagels are often under cooked and uneatable. Second, this location doesn't give a military discount but the Jones Valley location does. I believe they are owned by the same owner so what gives? read more

It has been a loooong time since I stopped here. I was disappointed at first because the dining room is closed. At least give me the option :). Then I realized two teenagers were running the entire operation. Kudos to them--they were hustling, moving the line, and polite. I was disappointed again when I ordered the Farmhouse I saw in the big picture, and they asked me what kind of bagel. They didn't have the bagel in the picture so I went plain. Perhaps my 11:00 visit was too late for that type, I don't know. Four stars because they were open, my food was good, and the service was acceptable. They lost one star because I can't attribute all of the small things to COVID. I will be back to try again--my sandwich was good. read more

So I went to this place back in Charlotte for my bday and it was the best!!!!! I was wondering why they didn't have anything like this in Birmingham but oh Huntsville came through for me and I got all the bagels lol. This is the only place I'll eat for breakfast they have a turkey sausage so that's my go to lol. If you are in the area check it out and get the Rosemary bagel lol read more

I have never in my life been to a place so many times, that FAILS me every SINGLE time.. i have left yelp reviews, and they sincerely apologize? but let me tell you something nothing will change at this Bruegger's i have never seen a more lazy business in my life! So why apologize? When it only gets worse ever single time? I Have no idea how they're still open, i would never recommend ANYONE to eat here. I can come right at opening and do an online order to pick up a bagel before work, and this location will be completely out of most flavors that they charge "extra" for cause it's "gourmet" for them to throw a slice of America cheese on a bagel. But you can't even expect this location to do that, it doesn't matter if it's opening, 2 hours after, or what! They are never in stock of bagels, and won't ever make more. Which again, frozen bagel, yes i see then frozen in the back! Throw slice of cheese, then toaster!WOW, bagels! The worst part about it is, is that when you go there and they don't have your bagel, and they only have like garlic.. and things like that.. and you decided you want a refund? well every single time i have gone they've given me a long pitiful story telling me, i have to go online call them, wait 3-5 business days, or dispute it with me bank.. WELL COME TO FIND OUT TODAY, they can do the return IMMEDIATELY at the store! Again i would never ever recommend this place to anyone, the place itself is absolutely disgusting, they seriously don't know how to clean, serve customers, talk to customers, or just do their job over all?? their coffee is horrible, the packaged drinks up front have been expired most of the time i've gotten one, the workers are the laziest people i've ever seen, and their managers and bosses are even worse! This business seriously needs to do something about this, or they'll be long gone before you know it. WAY WAY WAY, to many good bagel shops and cafes for them to be this BAD! read more

Bruegger's Bagels - 4 cheese bagel, with sriracha honey cream cheese. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Madison, Alabama

Three of us decided to try this Bruegger's store, being a fan of Bruegger's for many years. Our bagel sandwiches were delicious, perfectly prepared, and efficiently delivered. The coffee was fresh and good. A number of other reviewers had poor experiences with staff, but that was not our experience at all. We were served by friendly and attentive staff who were helpful in making our food choices. Did I mention room this was Christmas Eve? It is and what a nice way to start the day. read more

Ordered from Uber Eats. Bagels look completely different in the pictures online compared to in person. Bacon is no where crispy and I didn't even know it was bacon at first. Also very frugal on the meats. Barely any pastrami and bacon. Pretty disappointing, don't know why you would use fake pictures for a bagel shop? read more

I normally order ahead on the app for this location so that my order is ready upon my arrival. There have been multiple occasions where I have ordered ahead 30 minutes or more and my order is not available. Today was one of those occasions and the employee had an attitude when I asked for a refund. This location is poorly managed and always under staffed. read more

Great bagel place in town! - Bagel with Smoked salmon - well this is just a classic and you really can't go wrong with it. Delicious smoked salmon, tomato, red onion, and cream cheese on a fresh bagel - Hot pastrami bagel - definitely more of a brunch/lunch bagel as it is heavy, but delicious non the less. Juicy meat, very savory - Leonardo da veggie - I really liked this vehicle option for a summer lunch, very tasty and loaded with flavor - western brisket - very very good! Juicy and savory. I would say this is a must try! - hash brown - the hash brown should be eaten immediately and is best when it is fresh because it's crunch on the outside. Kind of like a hash brown biscuit - really good. They deliver through DoorDash as well or you can order ahead and pick up when you arrive, very convenient! Great breakfast/lunch stop if you have bagels on the mind! read more

Honestly, I absolutely love the bagels here. I was pretty excited too go there this morning. When I walked in though, the young lady behind the counter was sitting in a chair on her cellphone and acted like it was an inconvenience that she was going to have to get up and wait on me. She never acknowledged me until I cleared my throat and asked for a bagel. She proceeded to roll her eyes and get up. When we got to the register and I asked for a cup of hot tea, she again, rolled her eyes. Please reconsider who you have working the front end with customers. read more

Waited in line for 24 minutes without a single employee speaking to me. 24 minutes for a toasted bagel with one person in line in front of me. When I go to order, wrong line without eye contact. First time and last time visit. Staff was young but nice. The menu items posted was not what the store had. The sandwich my friend ordered came on a certain type of bagel-did not have and with spicy brown mustard-did not have. It did come with the meat if you want to call one thin slice of meat a sandwich. my sandwich was supposed to have lettuce which they didn't have because of a recall but also didn't have cucumbers. We were the only customers in the restaurant during lunch time and I can understand why. Also I am 99% sure there was a child in the kitchen even though I didn't see one could definitely hear one and that's the only place it could have been. I would have thought that was against some rules. read more

we had a mobile order and the guy made a mistake on both of our sandwiches. I only had him correct one of them because he was kinda rude. He didnt acknowledge us when we walked in and didnt make eye contact and was very short and brief with us. we came an hour before closing and when we left he locked up 15 minutes early. it obviously couldve just been one of those day and i get that but thats still no way to treat customer. Sandwhiches were good once corrected! read more

To start, the food is good. The bagels, although small, were fresh and tasty. The two young ladies working were not kind or helpful. The cashier seemed put out as we ordered and told us they were out of one of the bagels we wanted when they weren't. We went down the line after paying and saw the type of bagel that we had wanted, so my wife asked about it. The grumpy girl behind the counter with her earbuds in said it was for another order. We said ok and went to sit. When our order was done, they had made my wife's wrong. I went back and the bagel she wanted was still there. A friendly man behind the counter asked the grumpy girl if it was for another order and she told him no. This was the same girl that told us it was for another order. The nice man made the new sandwich with the correct bagel. My daughter ordered an iced caramel macchiato and it tasted like very sweet milk with a touch of coffee. I think maybe the best thing to do at this place is order bagels early - to go - and pick it up without interacting with the staff. The seats were dirty and it just wasn't a very welcoming place. read more

Haven't been here since before COVID due to terrible food. We came in after a unwelcoming experience across the street. This place was no better. No soup and no salad because of COVID staff said. Bottled drink best part of meal. Never going back! The staff was welcoming. read more

Went to get a turkey sandwich and a lox/cream cheese sandwich. The turkey sandwich which was about $8/$9 had ONE slice of meat. ONE!! And the lox/cream cheese was super fishy which would indicate it went bad. I clearly threw out the lox/cream cheese bagel to avoid getting sick and decided never to go back to this place ever again. Sucks bc I love a bagel sandwich. Biggest waste of money! read more

Good bagels ! Very friendly. Will have ready if you call ahead ! Wish they had sourdough!

Honestly, avoid this place. The staff is very immature and borderline rude. I'm not asking to be treated like a Princess or anything, but you don't have to laugh at me when I ask if you're out of a bagel (in this case it's the very popular jalapeño cheddar bagel) for the day or if you're going to possibly make more. They do not seem to be able to multitask very well, either. I'm generally left waiting for at least 10 minutes before they take my order if someone ahead of me has ordered. Ordering ahead is futile because the app doesn't even list all of their products, nor does it update if a location is out of something. I've witnessed plenty of frustrated Door Dash/GrubHub employees who have to call their customers and find out and alternative because their order isn't available. You're guaranteed a hassle free experience within the first hour of opening. Go there past 10:00 am and it's slim picking's. Save yourself the trouble and just order in bulk for a pick up the next morning. read more

i am a huge bagel lover. so when i moved out to Madison and figured out i was 2 minutes away from Bruegger's i was very exited. I haven't had that many problems but everytime i order on the app, they mess up my order or don't give me it at all, and when i can they tell me "sorry we can't see the orders from the app" why have the app if you can't take orders from it!! i have wasted so much money, and not once have been refunded or even given the correct bagel or any food at all!!
