This year (2019), we ordered three appliances from the website on Black Friday and were promised a delivery of December 15th from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. We called in the morning to verify when the delivery might take place and received no conclusive answer except for a few helpful tips and answers to technical questions. We called the appliance delivery department again in the evening since no phone call had been made to let us know about a delivery time. We then discovered our items had not even been shipped to the store as of yet. We mobilized the whole day for a delivery that never occurred and had no prospective date for delivery. In addition, we had disconnected appliances beforehand. If we had not called, we would have never known that the delivery would not take place as planned. We had scheduled a pick up to donate one of our appliances which now needs to be cancelled--once again more time lost. I cancelled this order and will never use Lowe's again for appliances. No more lies and/or no more dropping the ball-- whatever you might want to call it.

Normally when I check out at self-checkout, I simply scan or pull up my military discount account to receive my 10% discount. On this visit, I did not have my physical ID with me, so I went to customer service to ask if they could pull up my account using my phone number, which I have done successfully at multiple other Lowe's locations before. As soon as I approached customer service and explained the situation, Miss Donna immediately and very rudely told me that they could not help me and that I was not going to receive my 10% military discount because she could not verify my identity without my ID. When I explained that multiple other Lowe's locations have always been able to pull up my account without an issue, she responded by telling me that "not all Lowe's locations are the same" in a very rude and dismissive manner. Afterward, I went to the cashier, and the cashier was easily able to pull up my phone number and apply my military discount without verifying my ID. Once the transaction was completed, Miss Donna then went over and scolded the cashier for helping me. The entire interaction was unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand policies may vary from location to location, but there is still a respectful way to speak to customers, especially veterans simply trying to use a military discount account already on file. Someone higher up seriously needs to speak with Miss Donna regarding her attitude and the way she communicates with customers

    I purchased 2 items last week for my home. The salesperson was not not attentive a I stood inside…read morethem empty lobby for at least a minute while they stocked and paid no attention. Finally was offered assistance, they did not listen well and had to ring my sale twice as a result. I asked if the items were returnable if not needed or did not work and was simply told yes. I ended up bringing the item back today for return and the same salesperson refused the return all while examining the item with unnecessary manipulation. Additionally, they made an unnecessary comment stating the electrician should have known that it was the wrong size, completely inappropriate. I politely took my no longer needed purchase and left. I had no problem going up the street to Lowe's where I was assisted by a salesperson and cashier whom I gladly rated on their survey with the highest score for their efficient help and friendly customer service. Shame on you Mar's Electric.
