We have used Marshall Carpet on 3 separate occasions for carpet installation and they have always had an excellent product and done an excellent job. Recently our basement flooded and we were scheduled to have them come out to replace our damaged carpet. Unfortunately we had a Covid exposure and were placed on quarantine. I called to let them know not to come. They were so kind and Joyce called to move other clients around so they could come out and install a week later when it was safe for all, instead of having us wait an additional month or two. We just had Marshall Carpet One install new floors for our entire first floor and part of our 2nd floor and our experience was great! We had both hard surface and carpet installed. They took the time to explain the difference between the various hard floor options. We selected samples to take home. After a few days of moving the samples from room to room, we selected samples that both my husband and I loved. We did have some questions about how best to manage some areas of our home. Marshall Carpet one had someone come to our home, listened to our concerns and provide us with options that best fit our lifestyle. Once the order was placed, Marshalls Carpet One scheduled both our installs (hard surface and carpet) in a timely manner that worked with our schedules. Stopped into the Marshall One showroom when I was in town visiting my boyfriend. Even though I wasn't planning on buying anything that day (mostly because of logistics), Matt was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable in helping me find exactly what I wanted for my apartment back in NYC. He assured me that it wouldn't be a problem to get a rug delivered to me back home. Sure enough, 2 days later, the rug was delivered just as promised and is AWESOME. I think that they are ultimate magicians at this company. They give the illusion of service. Their goods are poor quality. My carpet did not last a year and it was $167.00 a square yard. No pet, no kids, well maintained home! After I sent an e-mail, they sent a biased party to my home to say that this is the way carpet behaves. BUNK.... Marshall Carpet has one of the best selections in NEO. In addition, they have the best installers I've ever used. The customer service was extremely bad. After measuring, they ordered an extra 2 rooms of carpet (one piece 12'x10' and another 12'x11') and wouldn't take the remnant pieces back. As a result, it cost me $2000 more than if I had gone with someone else. read more

I have bought materials from this company before. Very good selection and the sales people were very knowledgeable.

We had approximately 1,300 sq ft of engineered hardwood installed on our first floor. The installers were great. Arrived on time. Very professional and worked hard to clean up after each day for the 4 days of installation (with the exception of their cigarette butts thrown into our lawn and flower beds). The flooring itself is beautiful. All that being said, it is unfortunate that we have had zero contact from our salesperson. After receiving the quote, and then receiving quotes from others, we decided to come back into the store to place an order. Our salesperson was not there at the time, so another representative took our order. Since then, we have heard nothing from her or Marshalls customer service with the exception of calling to ensure that our final payment was in the mail. Apparently $20k+ of flooring is not enough to warrant a follow-up call ensuring satisfaction or to take any questions about the product care and maintenance. read more

They had a huge selection and said shipping was not an issue. Steve was great and helped me pick out a beautiful Karastan rug for my living room and a fun shag rug for my bedroom. They even let you borrow rugs for a few days to see how they look in my home. The design staff was very helpful. Terrible customer service. Missed commitments on install of carpet. We pulled out old carpet and moved all furniture in preparation for a next morning install. Called at 3pm the day before an 8am install and told sorry we can't do your job until Saturday due to unforeseen issues on a previous job. My house is in complete disarray for a holiday weekend and the commitment to my job was missed. I will use another company for the rest of my flooring. read more

Bought vinyl planks for a floor installation. When I went to the store to pick up the planks 2 boxes were damaged and inside a couple of planks were damaged also. They told me to take the boxes home and they took pictures and told me that they will file for warranty and let me know when the replacement planks will come in. No phone call or anything for 2 months. When I went to the store to find out about my issue 2 managers asked me if I have finished the floor installation and if there is a problem or not because they think I should just take the loss for the damaged parts and they did not follow up with the manufacturer for warranty. They think no matter who damaged the boxes the customer should take the loss and shut up about it. Will never return for anything to this store. Did purchase before and always the same attitude about damaged things the customer should pay for them because the store can not even if they deliver the damaged parts. Nice people until you pay and then bye bye they DO NOT CARE. read more

We landed at Marshall Carpet who has a long family history in the east Cleveland area and felt as soon as we were greeted we were immediately in the right place. Ryan, one of the owners, educated us on the carpets and showed us many price points explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the choices. No pressure, just education. He worked with our time constraints on the order and installation and followed through with phone calls and e-mails and gave us a very thorough proposal and a fair price.
