Long hair wrapped around my sandwich :( it was delivered so I couldn't have it remade. Tossed the whole thing.

    Interior seating.

This was our first visit. Excellent service with a smile! The food was hot and fresh and perfectly seasoned. We showed at 11 am. The bathrooms were clean and so was the interior dining! Would highly recommend!

Food was excellent and a great value. Service was slow but worth the wait to get fresh made food. Give yourself extra time if coming here.

It feels like you somehow wandered into a slightly spooky Disney bayou attraction that also happens to serve brunch. Decorated to the nines and immersive, it is both a meal and an experience. We went for an early Sunday breakfast and were seated quickly. By the time we left around 9 there were still a handful of open tables, but I would guess reservations are smart from 9:30 on. I started with a cortado made with Evan's Brothers beans. They also offer a chicory blend if that is your thing. Our waitress was attentive, answered all of our questions, and was great about a few modifications we asked for. They do have some gluten free and vegetarian options, though not a huge amount of gluten free. We started with the beignets and they were excellent. Perfect portion for two with a couple topping options. I would go back just for those. I ordered their take on eggs Benedict and my husband had the classic breakfast plate. Both were really flavorful, but the seasoned potatoes were a standout. Portions are generous, we ended up getting two more portions out of the leftovers. Overall, a really fun and memorable brunch spot. I am looking forward to going back for one of the events when they have live music.

Twice we have been on account I'm a local private Executive chef so my schedule is all over the map, so I took a shot getting a reso and yessaaahh we got one ( highly recommend ) you are greeted w a bubbly smiley faced owner who is so kind and will give to a brief over view of what's to be expected. Then you are aproached by one amazing server CJ who will guide you on the dining experience we chose everything suggested and it was so spot on in every facit . CJ handles her guests w such professionalism but very funny. The vibe is super chill something cda has needed for a long time . We chose to come back this holiday season to not only have the amazing fresh sheet beignets OMG we ordered two diffrent ones to hopefully take home some ! That didn't happen hahah . Support the shit out of this place and the amazing owner and staff they crush it every time. We have found our best brunch spot to start our amazing day off Executive Chef Terry Alexander

We really like this Elmer's restaurant…read more I wouldn't say it's one of our favorite restaurants, we don't go here very often. However every time we have Ben, we've had a really pleasant experience. First of all, the staff is always friendly and helpful. The servers are always very attentive. The managers even come by on occasion just to make sure that everything's okay. The prices are reasonable, they have a good kids menu and a good seniors menu. It's very casual and exactly what you would expect for the atmosphere at an Elmer's restaurant. The food is also usually pretty good, if not a little unimaginative or unoriginal. But this is a standard breakfast / lunch / dinner diner and you're going to get exactly what you expect at this location. It is a little awkward to get to off of appleway. But we've never had any issues here, and for an Elmer's this place gets five stars.

I forgot how many other veterans there would be in CDA, however, and most of the places we'd normally get breakfast were jam packed. Then I remembered Elmer's, tucked away behind the hotel there, and I am SO glad I did. That was a perfect breakfast, and it wasn't too overwhelmed! This is also such a small thing, but I loved the music they played. It really made the place feel warm and inviting. I got the triple berry crepes with hasbrowns and an egg, and my husband got the lemon german pancake with hashbrowns and eggs. It's hard to say who had the better breakfast, they were both so wonderful! Finally, a place that can get the hashbrowns right, I could cry. They're fried instead of pan-fried, so every bite is perfectly crisp instead of the middle being soggy. The bacon was crisp, the eggs exceptionally well done, and the crepes were delicious and not too sweet. The best part of our experience though was Brec, our server. She was extremely upbeat and charming, and she listened patiently to what we wanted for breakfast and made sure to deliver exactly what we asked for. She made jokes and checked on us to make sure we had what we needed, but wasn't overbearing or pushy. She's got waiting tables down to a fine science, and Elmer's is so lucky to have her. Frankly, I'll go back again and again just for her!

I stopped by **Izzy's Comfort Kitchen** recently after seeing quite a bit of buzz about it online…read more While there is a lot to like about this spot, my experience felt a bit like a "social media vs. reality" situation. **The Atmosphere & Service** The ambiance is inviting and cozy, though the restaurant itself is on the **smaller side**, so it can feel a bit tight during peak hours. That said, the **service was fantastic**. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we were properly taken care of throughout the meal. **The Food** I ordered the **Peach Bourbon BBQ Burger**. I loved the concept--the sweetness of the peach really complemented the savory beef beautifully. However, the execution fell a little short. There were only **two slices of peach** on the entire burger, and it was significantly **lacking sauce**. Between the minimal toppings and the lack of BBQ sauce, the burger ended up being quite dry. The sides didn't quite help the moisture issue, either. The **fries were very thin and overcooked**, giving them a crunchy, dry texture that made the overall meal feel a bit parched. Izzy's is a solid spot with great people, but I can't help but feel it might be a bit **overhyped by social media**. The flavors are definitely there, but for the price and the reputation, I was hoping for a bit more generosity with the toppings and better execution on the sides. Worth a try if you're in CDA, but maybe ask for extra sauce on the side!
