We went to 7 pointe shoe fittings at different places for my daughter and each time the teacher did…read morenot like the shoe until we went to trendy trendz. After the 6th shoe, my daughter volunteered to be a demonstrator for a woman who was doing a pointe training and the fitter for trendy trends did a workshop on pointe shoe fittings. Thank God we found out about this place. On the 7th try we finally found her magic shoe! The fitter knows what she is doing and takes the time to find a good one. The rest of the places were good even though the shoe didn't fit but the Pointe Shop was definitely the worst so I'd say avoid them if you can. We tried 2 Pointe Shops {Oakland and SF w/Josephine). At least the people in Oakland are genuine. The orange county one I am still waiting for them to send me a pair of shoes I ordered 4 months ago even though they said it would take 2 months (which in itself is bad) and I won't even talk about my daughter's fitting with Josephine.
