I was in a rush to get a plaque engraved and decided to check this place out based on their reviews. The shop is a hole-in-the-wall located at the corner of a neighborhood on Senter Rd. They have a small parking lot in the front which isn't a problem because I don't think they get that busy. I was worried at first because the owner said that they've never engraved a writing so deep before (most of the engravings displayed in the shop were surface engravings) and I was afraid they were going to mess up, but it turned out really nice! I am very satisfied with their service! They were really nice and took the time to understand how I wanted the plaque to be engraved. They were able to engrave the plaque in 40 minutes! Other places I checked out said it would take a day or two and also charged for items that weren't bought from the store. Customer service is absolutely terrible here! Be careful, the woman at the store is manipulative and evil (despite religious relics in the store). One weekend I was there just checking out the place and she was super friendly and helpful and was talking to me in Vietnamese. Next weekend, I return to place the order and she ups the price (didn't honor the quote she gave me saying she would never do such a thing) was rude, mean, and even refused to talk to me in Vietnamese - even when I was talking to her in Vietnamese. She kept responding to me in her broken English and I don't even know why! (Later I find out, they're nice if you're Viet and are more apt/willing to give you a deal and they really up the price if they think you're "American"/non-Viet. At first glance I don't look Viet and she probably forgot who I was, but by then it was too late - that is still no excuse for her rude behavior - quite frankly, it's unacceptable.) It's stupid crap like this that give Vietnamese people a bad name. Only thing semi-positive about this place is that the prices are fairly cheap - but they will try to gouge you with the prices (claiming all these additional fees and costs, etc).... read more

So quick and convenient! I recently had an IPad engraved and it came out perfect! Dropped off the IPad around 9AM when it opened and was able to pick up 2 hours afterwards. The owner gave me the heads up that as a precaution, they have to let the customers know that they will only reimburse $100 if there is any typos or the machine breaks down and incorrectly engrave. That scared me for a second but he reassured me that the chance of it happening is incredibly slim. Thank god nothing did happen and it came out perfect. I forgot to ask what colors are offered but realized when I picked it up that it was NOT PRINTED but legitly ENGRAVED. I'm definitely bringing all my items here in the future. $25 for general engravings. hat is not including tax but the owner said it was fine with I just gave him $25, which I thought was really nice. Wow! You couldn't find a better place for your custom-made order. Recently, I had a good friend who committed suicide. My idea to find a crucifix and engrave his name, his birthday and the date he passed away. However, I went further to write a poem for him as well. Finally, it became a long story to engrave on the crucifix. But I really would like to capture all of it. The engraved crucifix would be mailed to my friend's family, thousand miles away. Therefore, the staffs were willing to work with me and suggested the best way to perform the work. The staffs were very knowledgeable, flexible, and detail-oriented. They made sure all my requests were captured correctly; they were able to expedite my request; and more than that they gave me a good discount. When I came back to pick it up, I was amazed with the outcome. The words were so beautiful crafted on the wood: the name, the dates, the poem, the heart symbol were clearly defined in such little space. It was really more than I expected. I bought a knife and wanted it engraved with my bfs initials for a special gift. I had originally gone to another shop, and after a week of keeping my item, and me calling and hunting down a manager at that shop, they finally informed me that they couldn't engrave my knife's metal. I saw this shop on yelp and figured I'd give it a shot. The owner was very welcoming, unlike the other shop, and showed me different font examples and engraving styles. He asked what and who I was getting it engraved for and when I explained I wanted his initials engraved a certain way, he caught my error of emphasizing the middle initial and explained to me that monograms emphasize the last name (which made more sense). I really appreciated him catching that and explaining that to me, because the original shop I had gone to didn't even put in any effort with what I wanted. He pointed to different parts of my knife, played with different fonts and after I was happy, he sent me away with a promise of having it done within the next couple of days. I wanted to engrave something nice on a travel mug as a birthday gift for my husband. I searched yelp for engraving places, and started calling the places I found. The first one said they do not engrave any images. The second place has too busy to see me for almost a week, and they told me the price would be ~$80. When I called Thanh39, they just asked me to come over and show them the image. I purchased the travel mug and engraving at around $32, sent them 2 images (one for front and one for back) on Friday morning. By Friday afternoon I got an email that it is ready for pick up. I found the service here to be terrific. I came to them trying to get a custom engraved photo album. I already had an idea of what I wanted and wasn't interested in any templates they offer. The woman was really nice and patient with me, they went out of their way to make me just what I was imagining. I had a photo of my girlfriend and I in Yosemite that I wanted to be the cover of a photo album that I was going to make myself. They offered to have me bring in my own wood for them to laser engrave the photo on to but I liked what they had anyway. My request was particularly difficult for them because it is difficult to engrave an image with as much going on as my photo did. They said they usually photo shop the landscape out of images but they were willing to work with me. I also wanted the album cover in less time then they usually take and they made it ASAP for me.
