I reviewed this place one year ago (I only come to Cortland in the summer) and my idea of the place hasn't changed much. You wouldn't know from the outside just how much space and seating they have (a TON). Drinks and food are on point.

I will start this as I always do by saying that I don't give out five stars unless I am really blown away. I really like this place. It has a great feel to it. I love the wood and metal decor. Also the idea of the coffee shop/ beer and wine bar. If this was in my town I would be here all the time. So After my praise of how much I like this place I am sure you are wondering why the 3 stars and not four or five? I struggled with giving it 3 stars but did it because The flatbread was a little disappointing. I saw that it had a spicy marinara and I love spice. It was not spicy and the sausage was lacking. I should have ordered a bagel sandwich as I saw a few of those go by and they looked bomb. The iced green tea was very good. I will come back for sure. Only in hopes of changing this to 4 stars as I really liked this place. Please give this place a shot as I think I may have just ordered the wrong thing. Please give it a shot and let me know if I am right.

Great coffee shop. The food is good and there are tons of outlets and tables and the service was great. I really can't find much wrong with this place, and any time I'm in the area, I always come back.

Good coffee and pastries. Bagels are OK. I've only tried one hard cider and it was pretty excellent!

Great service! They offer a gluten free bagel and it's delicious. I also ordered the pomegranate green tea I didn't think it would be sweetened but it was...I'm not made at it but I would've preferred unsweet. Very cool place and sparkly clean restroom. Perfect place to stop and rest for a bit on my road trip.

I was traveling for work and ended up having to stay from Friday to Saturday night in Cortland. The live music was awesome! I came in to have a quick bite and a nice beer and ended up staying all night long. Needless to say, I love the concept of somewhere you can have a beer or a coffee, and the community in this cafe/bar is amazing. I would 100% come back!

Bru 64 is a must stop when in Cortland. Bagels, cookies, and coffee... who needs more. Delicious

Hip for this town! Large venue, very clean, bright energy amongst staff, probably the espressos and CBD oils ;) Service was fast. My drink delicious. Prices good, cheaper than NYC!! They had a cool mixed beer and espresso offerings that would make this place worth going to say or night! Though I don't live in this town and will not likely return, I can say with confidence that I'd go back.

Good coffee. Quick service. A decent bagel for upstate NY. Overall good place for a quick breakfast or coffee while in Cortland.

Good coffee and breakfast sandwiches. It's very popular, so parking may be tough. There is a city lot next door.

Just when you think customer service couldn't get worse they hire more dour faces incapable of saying hello may I help you. Lazy ownership.

You're not truly living until you've drowned one in their magical boom boom sauce. And the salad bowls? They've somehow made me a believer that greens can be exciting. Seriously, it's the best salad on campus. Other stuff like their pho noodles are mehhhh. The vibe is solid -- decent indoor ambiance, plus outdoor seating for when you're feeling fancy. This place does get packed faster than a lecture hall on syllabus day. If you don't time it right, you might be left holding your burrito bowl like it's a newborn, desperately hunting for a seat. TL;DR: Come for the boom boom sauce, stay for the best eats on campus, and pray for non-awkward seats.

I ordered a burrito bowl with pulled pork, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, & tortilla chips. I topped it off with boom boom sauce and tangy bbq (the best combo). It was nice to see the same workers as last semester because they are all nice and always have a friendly smile on their face. The ambiance was a bit slow because of Thanksgiving break coming up, but it seemed like most people were enjoying their food. The pulled pork was a bit on the drier end and it overpowered the taste of the other ingredients, but overall I'm glad that I ordered it. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5

Tossed is located on Market Street which can be busy during lunch & dinner. They offer Vegan and Vegetarian as well. We arrived just after noon so most of the tables were taken. We managed to snag a table though and ordered. My guy had the gluten free cheeseburger bowl which was delicious! Came with a bowl of Romaine, burger, red onion, cheese, and ripe tomatoes and a tangy sauce Looked so good I had to have a bite and it was Great! I had the Trio of Isles which included 2 homemade Spanakopita. I could tell immediately because of the pastry wasn't the usual store bought puff pastry. And, it was so flavorful with garlic, spices and Pine nuts. The hummus was good and the pita points were toasted and warm when served. The falafel was okay and one was filling with homemade Tzatziki sauce. I managed to eat both falafels. I would definitely come again and just get the Spanakopita-it was Amazing. They do a lot of Take Out. Some of their salads were huge (definitely two meals worth - lunch & dinner) and several patrons were taking what they couldn't finish home for dinner.

I usually get Cate's Buhda Bowl but recently branched out and got the tofu veggie wrap, chock full of goodness and protein. Both are really flavorful and nourishing, generous too. There is another thing that keeps me coming back. Tossed is clearly family-run, and I know that a father-daughter team seem to be mostly in charge. Once, they got my order wrong, and I waited longer than usual for the correction to appear. Not only did they credit my order but I think the person who made the error was in tears. I just love these people, they are so sweet!
