Cute little bakery (it's actually bigger than you think it is). Lots of selection for food and sweets. The bagel sandwiches for breakfast were a good pick but warning: the drinks are VERY VERY hot). We did try their tundra chocolate cake but it was very stodgy and flavorless, so steer clear of that dessert.

Walking inside was incredibly overwhelming and crowded but the staff were very helpful and friendly. I got a sandwich that tasted mediocre and was definitely not worth the price and the matcha I got was worse then the ones I make at home, it was supposed to be a strawberry shortcake matcha but it just tasted like milk with the weakest hint of matcha. I had fairly high expectations and I'm really disappointed.

We came on Thursday morning so there was little to no line. We ordered a maple latte, smoothie along with a California sunset bagel sandwich, cinnamon roll and 2 chocolate hazelnut croissants. Everything was delicious. The staff were friendly & helpful. We will be back.

We're not local but we've visted before and really enjoyed the stop. Being in the area, frequenting the State Theatre, and listening to good music we needed morning refreshments and immediately thought "Baked in Ithaca". This visit we got coffee, breakfast sandwiches and various baked goods. The restaurant was busy and hopping with activity on a Sunday morning around 9AM. The parking lot was full but there was street parking around the business. There was also plenty of seating for us to find some room to eat in comfort. You order food at one counter but you pay at the other counter? All food is delivered to the "pay" counter. Service was fast, even with the crowd, the breakfast sandwiches were delicious, the coffee was dark (which we love) and the baked goods didn't last long. We got a cinnamon coffee cake and a loaf of bread that were huge hits. "Baked in Ithaca" - what a slogan!

Visiting family in Ithaca and our one must do's on this trip was to eat Ny style deli. Upon entering you have a deli feel with an urban vibe, could it be the wine bar! This bakery/restaurant has a counter where you order your food and bakery items. There is a separate counter for the adorable wine bar and other deli items. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I ordered the Renwick Rueben, it was wrapped in foil and I loved that touch. Let us not forget that the name of this restaurant has bakery in its name. I went crazy and ordered cannoli's, cookies and an eclair. The lady next to me ordered an eclair, because it was "National Eclair Day". This eclair was fantastic. I live in Florida where I have never had a good one, the inside part is always stale, but this eclair was fresh and tasted incredible. I will say this is hands down the best item here. Cannot wait to visit next summer!

I stopped here early morning after a gig and it was DELICIOUS! I got the breakfast sandwich with egg white and pesto and my friend got the Roundhouse breakfast sandwich (see photos). I also got a cold brew. This was such a great place to stop in for some breakfast. High recommend. Oh and I'd recommend the cheesecake brownie.

If you're familiar with CTB, Ithaca Bakery is that. Same vibe, same setup, nearly identical in every way. I tried the Steak & Egg sandwich and the Cat Woman. The Cat Woman, in particular, was absolutely delicious. Would definitely come back just for that.

Great sandwiches and smoothies and good prices! Huge selection of options available and an amazing looking baked goods display! They have lots of outdoor and indoor seating. They are a sister company with college town bagels so you'll likely see some familiar food items which is great for me. They have a surprising amount of parking and even ev charging spots! We'd definitely come back!

I guess a trip to Ithaca isn't complete without stopping at Ithaca Bakery. My husband is down here quite a bit for work and said it's one of his favorite places. He usually grab lunch here or sweet treats for us. There's two sides one for sandwiches and the other side for pastries, coffee/drinks. We grab a few things to bring over to a family member house(they loved the vegan bars we bought for them). My oldest loved the donut shaped cake(chocolate cake with I think chocolate ganache in the middle?). Everything else was delicious, I loved the maple iced latte. The service was quick and friendly. There's good amount of seating indoors and outdoors. We'll definitely stop by again whenever we're in town.

My review remains the same. This update is only to add pictures of the take out menu.

Delicious food and even better desserts. A lot of grab and go foods that make it quick to get in and out.

Best vegan soup I've ever tasted!

Is there indoor seating at either location? Outdoor seating?

Both locations have ample indoor seating. Meadow Street has lots of outdoor seating. Triphammer has a covered courtyard with tables and chairs.

We originally came here because we saw they have gluten-free bagels. And we need someplace to eat safely because of celiac. They made their OG breakfast bagel with a gluten-free one and it was a complete hit with my teen. So much so that we had to come back the next day as well. No complaints from me on doing that.

Clean minimal interiors, service is quick - order and pick up at the counter. There is ample space in the cafe to dine in. I ordered the avocado toast, which came topped with pickled onions and radish. It was fresh, flavorful, and I especially liked the addition of the radish--it's not something I would have thought to add to avocado toast, but it worked really well. I'll definitely remember that idea the next time I make one at home. My husband ordered the egg bagel sandwich with crispy kale. The kale added a nice texture and flavor, although he felt it was a little oily. We also had an Americano and an espresso, both of which were freshly brewed and made for a great start to the drive home. If you're looking for a good breakfast and coffee spot in Ithaca, Hound and Mare is definitely worth a stop.

A glass of Pét-Nat from Osmote made for a great start; I'm a huge fan of this winery. Service was decent, and the food came out impressively fast. The patio was lovely, if a touch noisy thanks to the busy street nearby. We shared the broccoli to start, and it didn't disappoint. Naturally, the Thai Green Curry was a must-try -- and a good call it was. Only downside: the portions ran on the small side.

This time (Jul 2026) was like our visit a couple of years ago. The menu was rather short, and we didnt see many middle-of-the-road or ordinary comfort-food offerings. Their local sourdough bread appetizer was fresh and nicely flavored, and we chose the fresh olive oil side just because it's so luscious. We could have had chive-butter. The marinated olives were flavorful and a little spicy. Their NY-cheese board had a tasty selection of soft and hard cheeses. The salads had choices of a chutney-paneer based mix, which was refreshingly creative. And we liked the Farmstand berry-cherry goat-cheese almond salad. These were all appealing. Chickpea salad or stew, tofu or salmon over steamed veggies, or smoked-trout open-face tartine sandwich, each sounded good, but we didnt bite. None of the mains called to us. I guess we just felt that none of those menu items screamed out we-gotta-come-to-this-restaurant. The food tasted like just homemade and fresh, but not exceptional. The food was ok, no complaints, but not a big thrill.
