The food was incredible and the aromas upon first entering were phenomenal. There was way too many things to decide, however we ended up choosing the four pictured and went back for more after we were finished to have as a snack later on in the evening. Everything was outstanding, fresh vibrant. The raspberries popped in your mouth. The lemon was deliciously bright flavored. The ham and cheese were perfectly paired inside the croissant and the prosciutto with nuts, fig goat cheese was out of this world. The staff were very helpful and quick to help us decide and choose and helped us as we checked out. You could tell this place paid attention to the details and everything was squared away. Now this is the kind of place to go when you want to start your day off right. Located in the Common's, it was a five minute walk from our hotel. The shop is bright, clean, with a friendly staff and a wide assortment of fresh baked breads and sweet treats. This location is much larger than the one we visited in Maryland. The croissant was okay to my liking it needed a little more butter, but was quite flakey. They have a new item involving Dubai chocolate; how trendy. This is probably the single worst Paris Baguette branch I've been to on either coast. I've had people mischarge me, not give me a box despite me buying enough for one, and worst of all has been the vibe/treatment by staff. Last week, a Gabby Hannah lookalike employee with bronzy-blonde hair was angry on the phone the whole time, moving around the shop, getting in people's way to close as fast as possible 30 mins before closing. Exasperated, ticking-timebomb behavior when you asked a question. Dismissive, but got the job done...and made every customer in that last hour feel like they were the last person on earth they wanted to deal with. I still tip, despite the service...but I regret the amount every time I do. The pastries somehow seem fresher in Los Angeles and Boston. I wonder if it's because Ithaca is so rural...and this is the only Asian bakery for miles. read more

I'm beyond thrilled there's a Paris Baguette here in Ithaca - it feels like a little slice of home, where Paris Baguette shops pop up like Starbucks. Despite being in the middle of nowhere (no offense, Ithaca), they manage to keep up with the latest trends. I know that's what a chain is supposed to do - provide the same experience regardless of which location - but I'm genuinely grateful this one is here. When I'm in the mood for something sweet, their mochi donuts (or a cake!) paired with an iced green tea hit the spot. And their Croissant Crisps? Heavenly! Cute place on the Commons. Lots of pastry choices. I enjoyed my chocolate ganache cake, though it was not as rich "ganache" tasting as I anticipated. It was light and fluffy. I got a hot pumpkin latte. It was not the typical pumpkin spice latte flavor I expected. Unfortunately, for my crying wallet, I could not enjoy it, as many sips as I tried, and I threw it away. Our cashier was uninterested and seemed like we were a bother to her by being there. Especially when we asked for a pastry to be warmed up. We walked in around 8:30pm on Friday to get a quick light bite, the only two sandwiches left in the fridge were 1 tuna and 1 egg salad sandwich. I bought them for me and my husband. The girl at the register was annoyed and cracked her fingers when I asked if they were fresh and needed a minute to choose a drink. Not like anyone was behind me.... she seemed annoyed. Well I ate the egg salad sandwich and first of all it's disgusting! The bread is not great, the salad was rancid and made me sick . Do not buy their salads if it's past 3pm. I was told they make these sandwiches in the morning and so they sit there all day! read more

I was surprised when I found out Paris Baguette wanted to open up a shop in Ithaca, but I like this one! Love the doughnut selection in particular (evident by this cream filled croughnut), and they make a good cappuccino. Note: Paris Baguette is a Korean chain meaning that if you're not familiar with Asian bakery goods the breads will taste different than more westernized goods. It's alright for studying but know it can get crowded quickly. Also a great spot for picking up a nice cake for a special occasion. read more

Found this Asian bread store with dine in optional as well , quite fantastic place ! Asian bread is more on the butter therefore is much more soft compare than European / western bread . You can find specialty such as red bean bun and cream bun etc . Very yummy , highly recommend it . They also serve coffee . Definitely coming back again ! read more

This apparently new place looks like it has some kinks to work out. We were in town for a wedding and first stopped here for lunch on Sunday afternoon. The line was almost out the door so we left. It looked like a number of places were closed on this holiday weekend so those that were open were jammed. On Monday morning around 8am or so I walked over from my hotel. A fair number of people were in the cafe having coffee but there was no line and there was almost no product. Bakeries are usually pretty well stocked first thing in the morning but not here. The display cases were 90% empty. Definitely a problem. I did find an almond croissant, a chocolate pastry stick (not sure the official French name), and a pastry with fruit and a custard topping. All three were very tasty and typically priced. That is the good news. The staff member who checked me out was not exactly friendly. Looks like they have many bugs to work out - first being to hire some bakers to work overnight to produce product for the morning crowd. read more

So being French , I had to visit Paris baguette ...let's just say they got the customer service like in France ...not pleasant and not smiling . I had a latte and a sandwich. What a mistake. The bread seemed old. It was hard on top. And little flavor with the tomatoes and mozzarella (that was blend. I should have sticked to pastries . I'll do another review after trying them . Everything I've ever tried here has been so good, from the chai and matcha lattes (seriously delicious) to the cakes and pastries. The cakes are especially amazing. I was in town for a client meeting and Tokyo a short walk on the commons during a break. The cabinets we full of delectable-looking items. I chose a multilayered raisin bread, thinking it would be a good indicator of the quality of the rest of the baked goods. It sat in my purse for the afternoon, and when I got home I sliced it to prepare for freezing . It was all we could to resist multiple slices. Delicious. Full of soft raisins, completely cooked but not dry, and loads of cinnamon. It also had a slightly crunchy but not overwhelming glaze. Very nice. read more

This is the perfect stop on my way across the commons to my office. I was able to grab a croissant for my coworker, a coffee and a salad for my lunch and a baguette for dinner tonight! The salad was really fresh and was more substantial than it looks in the picture. The dressing is light and adds a little zing. I was in and out very quickly- even though the selection is almost overwhelming. The staff were super friendly. My only complaint would be how stifling hot it is inside... Delicious bakery and cafe. It has a Paris vibe and could totally pass for one from France. So many baked goods to try but went with the jalapeno cream cheese croissant. It had the perfect blend of cream cheese and spice. Pro tip is to ask for it heated up. For to drink I went with the watermelon cucumber refresher which was extremely refreshing and not too sweet. I enjoy Paris Baguette. I like that their baked goods aren't overly sweet and much fluffier in texture than some other cakes. However, they need to improve on their customer service. I ordered a cake to deliver. It never made it for a birthday (now risking no cake to celebrate). I called the store many times...no one answered, it went to a full voicemail. I emailed them at the contact us Paris Baguette email adddress ...it's been a week, no reply. I contacted DoorDash...they said this is the responsibility of Paris Baguette because the order wasn't placed through them. My brother had to go to the store to inquire, and when he told the store associate, they looked clueless; they should have called the manager TBH. He ended buying a second cake so we had something to celebrate with. Now I have to dispute the first credit card charge because I never received the product. It shouldn't be this hard for a routine cake order. read more
