I went in for a standard eyebrow threading, clearly explained not to touch the bottom part of the inside of my eyebrows. Repeated to only clean up, no shaping. To leave the bottom part alone, don't take anything off . She just shook her head and started to thread. She did remove exactly what I wanted to keep. She made one of them thin , one sloping down. She completely changed the shape of my eyebrows, which both are completely uneven. She didn't even look to see if they were even during the threading or after. read more

I walked in this place today. And walked out so happy with my service. This was just my second time at this place but because I really likes how my eye brows turned out I said the next time I'm going to let them put on my eye lashes. Wow I'm so happy that I did she took her time. And when you not rushing that is a good thing for me. I have to say that this was the best service. I called to ask if they can do Henna, the lady on the phone said they have a henna artist and can do it really well. I believed her and went there with a friend. They did a horrible job, the lady doing henna was the one I spoke with on the call when I told her this isn't good she had the audacity to say that you Indian's have a problem with this, Americans will blindly pay 50$. It was a rude and racist thing to say as she is an Indian herself. She didn't apologize or realize her mistake. She lied to me on the phone and ruined my day. They have pics of eye brows in the place that make it seem like they got it down. Nope. Go somewhere where they know about threading. I think this lady just learned how to thread. Starlight, starbright, how did you get my eyebrows so right? Yes, that's how I felt when I left this place. Soo I did a quick search for some brows because my other place disappeared.. Hmph! I also wanted something that was easy to get to from a driving/park standpoint. So I happened across Brows Threading that had a whopping 6 reviews, but pretty good reviews. Normally, I wouldn't DARE trust my face to something with 6 reviews, but I decided to take a chance. I called ahead to see if there was a wait and it wasn't. I was in enroute. I was glad that someone told me to NOT judge a book by it's cover, because yea.. the area and it's storefront didn't lend itself to something I wanted to give a try. However, I walked in to a quaint little no frills shop with two threaders. Jamie/Jessie (I am drawing a blank on the name) was an older woman took me right away. We talked about what I wanted and she got to work. A few minutes later I was set and in heaven. I think I found my new spot. It was $10 in and out around 12 or so on Saturday. Now with that, there were a ton of people who came in after me, so I can see the wait getting long. Advice: Call ahead and make sure. It was around Christmas and I needed to get my brows threaded after a year later. My brows have become very bushy..and this place was opened. There's only one lady who works there and she locked the front but opened when I was there. Service was quick.. although she threaded my brows very thin.. For the first week I was not happy because my brows were the thinnest it's ever been! Remind me of when I had a line in high school, so now I fill them in with Benefits EyeBrow to make them fuller. They look decent now though, but without the brow to make them fuller it looks very thin. I probably will come back because it's quick and they're normally not too busy when I drive by.. and theyre convenient for me to go. As long as I fill my eyebrows in, they look pretty nice. Only thing is they do cost more than what I'm used to. It's $10 and I tip $2. I used to go to the Threading Salon on Taylor , but Nikki left and the newbies there aren't as good. Brows threading, despite having a lack luster appearance from the exterior, is a wonderful little salon. My eyebrows have looked good both times I have gotten them done here, and I have no complaints. I have never had to wait more than two minutes. $10 is a reasonable price, although I am always tempted to make the journey to Devon for a $5 threading. read more

Really wish I hadn't given them a second chance . This time I have a dip in my left eyebrow from them removing too much hair from the top. It's also not as arched as my right one but since too much hair was removed from the top, I did not want to remove more hair from the bottom and have it super thin. I got my nails done down the street and looked for a threading place and found one in walking distance of the nail shop. They got me in right away no wait at all. She cleaned my eyebrows up really nice but I felt slightly rushed like it was no TLC like I'm use to. She then wanted to put this eyebrow power on and I said sure and she used so much it didn't look natural. So I paid and walked to my car to find a cut under my brow from the thread. I was going to be in the neighborhood to run an errand and really didn't want to have to head to another part of town to visit my go-to threading place. I normally wouldn't try some place new for such an important thing like my eyebrows but there I saw a 5 star rating from a fellow Yelp Elite and that was good enough for me. I stopped in because the last lady at Threading Salon (my usual go to) messed up the shape of my eyebrows and didn't care to trim them so I desperately needed them fixed and this is about two blocks from my house. The lady may have been training since an older lady was overseeing her work when I got there and while she was working on me. She did a great job at evening out the shape of my brows but they're a lot thinner than I'm used to, which is unfortunate but at least now they're the same shape. I love that I can walk in anytime and have never had to wait more than 10 minutes for service. I have learned to only go after noon because the older woman who works then gets it right every time. I can't believe it. I had beautiful brows that just needed a cleanup. My usual go to brow place - brows by Lucy - in Berwyn was too far. This is my second time here and 100% sure my last. The first was 2 years ago and they completely thinned out my brows- thought they left my shape. Today I am crying because they left my brows OVER AN INCH APART. I tried using my Anastasia brow wiz, powder and even the pomade and they still look horrible. I am in tears and they completely ruined my self esteem as I know it will take more than two weeks for my inner brows to grow back. My senior pictures are Friday and Valentine's Day is coming up. I was completely un-impressed with the service today. I had came in to get a brow wax/thread. I specifically mentioned to her that I wanted to keep my eye brows thick and she did the complete opposite. My arches are uneven and she took a chunk off of the front of my left eyebrow and not my right. When I told her that it was uneven she said I made them even and was quick to move on to the next customer without trying to accommodate me. I have used their services in the past for years and this is the location my son wanted to go to today to get his eyebrows done before our grandfathers funeral. I dropped my mask getting I'm out of the car in a puddle. Upon arriving I asked if she had additional masks. She said no. There was also no one in the salon. Then I proceed to let her know I'm getting my whole face done and I have to remove my mask anyway. She said okay but stated my minor child had to wait outside. Wait what? She stated there's too many ppl in the salon and she had to make sure others (that weren't there) needed space to get their services done. I'm confused, my son is receiving services too so anyone else coming after us should have been instructed to wait outside if that's the case because the salon was big enough to stay socially distant, they even had chairs as a waiting area. Then she proceeds to tell me that she'll do him first but I needed my mask. I understand mask policy but that's why I requested to go first since I had to remove my mask anyway. I would feel better going first and stepping outside after my services instead of my minor son. Since she made such an issue about everything and was adamant about my son waiting outside to accommodate people that weren't even there is baffling and I will not be returning. I go in every month or so to have my lip threaded. I went in as usual last night and requested my lip be threaded. I have pretty light colored hair, so it's not a major ordeal, just a clean up. The girl started with my lip and then worked on a part of my chin. I was thinking - Yay! Bonus! I don't have much more than blond peach fuzz on my chin anyway. I went to pay, and she charged me for the lip and chin ($5+$5). I said, no I only asked for my lip. She giggled and said she did my chin too. I said I would only pay for my lip, and she insisted I owed $10. I turned to the woman who I think owns the place, and she couldn't be bothered to get off the phone (to be fair, she was speaking a language that I don't understand, so I couldn't tell if it was a business call or a personal one - still she wouldn't stop to help). So I paid the money and left. The worst part of all - I had to go home and pluck the part of the lip AND chin that she had missed. She was not thorough at all, so I was overcharged and got poor quality work! Bottom line - I lost $5, but they lost a consistent customer. I hope it was worth it! If the business would like to correct this, please do write back. I would be happy to stop and pick up the $5 I was cheated out of and remain a customer. read more

I came to this location a few months ago only because it was a close threading location for me. I had hoped that the older woman would be available because she seemed knowledgeable about threading. The other person that I got was very friendly (all staff are friendly) and although I explained to her exactly what I wanted because she seemed a little nervous, my eyebrows came out uneven and she took out too much especially in the places I specifically told her not to. She also threaded some of my forehead which was weird. My eyebrows were uneven, too thin and she missed some clean up in some places. Nice place/staff but I wouldn't come here again. read more

I would like to be the first to review Brows Threading in Bridgeport. I usually go far north to my threading salon which I still love. However, It is a hassle for me to get there and search for 30 minutes or more for parking depending on the day. I passed by this salon a few times and decided I would finally go in. I visited Brows Threading on this past holiday and got my eyebrows Threaded. The lady there was very nice and she asked me how I wanted my eyebrows, which I told her I like them clean but to stay pretty thick. She took care of me right away since there was no one else there at the time. I was very comfortable, the salon is beautiful and clean with a nice atmosphere to go along with it. It is right next door to an ice cream parlor and the neighborhood is very safe and extremely easy to find parking. I recommend visiting this salon and the cost was very reasonable as well. I paid $10 for my brows which is average since I pay 7 dollars for waxing elsewhere. I prefer brow threading over waxing because my eyebrows look beautiful and it definitely last longer. The outside may not look like much, but the inside is clean and beautiful. I went last week for the first time and they took me right away. The woman who did mine was very professional and quick. Came here hoping to find a threading location closer to where I live. It was nice to walk in and not have to wait to get in a chair, I think I was in and out in 10 minutes. However, the threading job was less than par. The experience was pretty rough and after getting home and taking a closer look at the job that was done the lady who provided my services didn't get any clean lines/arch and my brows were uneven (I could feel that was how it was going to be just from how she was pulling the thread). I'll have to touch up myself and let them regrow back out to get my arch back in my right eyebrow. It wasn't awful but I don't plan on returning. read more
