She said she was booked but I can come in and she will try to fit me in between clients . Parking is extremely difficult here as this is in the south end area. I purposely had a sport massage as it "targets a specific area of the body that is more vulnerable to injury or stress". At the beginning I said my left quad needed attention ('ve been in pain for about 2 weeks now). Perhaps I wasn't clear. The massage I received was a full body massage which included my upper back/shoulders where I hold a lot of tense. It was beneficial but as I understand it, it was not what I signed up for. For context, I have pretty severe cystic acne, went through one round of Accutane which helped initially, but then my acne came back with a vengeance. I had awful inflamed nodules and acne all along my neck that were painful and itchy, and it is completely smooth and clear now thanks to Kelly's skill and persistence in extracting. I also get microdermabrasion, which she recommends on weeks when my skin is looking calmer and can benefit from the extra exfoliation to get rid of dead skin and help with scarring. She also does scalp and facial massages to help you relax during the treatment which is really nice. If you have acne-prone skin that hasn't responded to typical treatments or medication from dermatologists, I wholeheartedly recommend seeing Kelly. Getting regular extractions and facials with her has made a world of difference, and I can finally see real progress in my skin that actually lasts.
