The first time I decided to get my eyebrows done somewhere other than my usual place in NY- aaaaand I'm in love. Jeez, this place did my brows so good I'm about to take a flight down here every month to get them done. I had Josie do mine and she was really so gentle and friendly. When I get my brows done back home, it feels like they rip my skin out with each hair they remove but it was so easy n smooth here. I made an appt on the 17th of November for the 28th. I show up for my appt and there is a note in the door saying they are closed for the holiday and if you have an appt to reschedule. This is a terrible business model. Poor customer service. Why wouldn't you call your appts to reschedule!?? Trying to reschedule, goes straight to voicemail. Such a shame. read more

Yelp did not fail me on this one!!! I have been looking for a new place to get my eyebrows threaded now that I live East and my other place that I have been going to for 10+ years is just not conveniently located for me anymore. I did a search and came across Brows & Beyond late one evening. I decided to go on a Wednesday morning before a meeting. To my surprise there were 8 people ahead of me on a Wednesday morning at 10:30! They open at 10:00. They must be good... I waited for 30 minutes but couldn't wait any longer so I asked to make an appointment for the following morning. As I waited, I watched as they interacted with the clients and took their time with each one- they really weren't trying to rush the process (much unlike the other salon I went to). I arrived Thursday morning- it was less busy but still glad I had an appointment because it guaranteed I was getting in before a walk in. I sat in Josie's chair. I told her I found them on Yelp and she expertly worked on my horribly overgrown brows. She also explained to me why she left certain hairs and filled in some brow powder since I told her I usually wear it to fill them in a bit. She made me feel welcome and she was extremely professional. I've found my new brow place! My first visit was $9 but going forward they will be $12. They also have a loyalty program so after 7 visits you get a free threading. I love it! read more

Well i am not one to name drop BUT JOSIE Rocks!!! I left my old brow place unhappy with poor customer service and lack of quality service. I took a chance on Brows & Beyond Lounge and have not looked back since. The building is not all posh and glammed out compared to where I used to go but let me tell you, the way I am treated speaks volumes and undertones . Josie is very sweet, attentive and listens. She is such a professional at all times . I feel like my business is appreciated . My rule is to visit a business at least three times before rendering a review...I have been there more than five times so this is loooongg over due. I always leave with my brows on Fleek! Favorite eyebrow place. Made the mistake once going somewhere else an learned my lesson. All the girls her do great job. I usually go to first available. They take appointment but it's not needed since I take first available I usually don't wait long. Tips are cash only but you can pay with card for the services. They do offer microblading and body waxing, make up and hair services. I've only get my eyebrows threaded her so I can't talk about the others service but I am trying to convince my friend to go and schedule microblading with them.
