I've been going to Amy's Beauty Salon for about 10 years for threading and hair services. I have…read morevery sensitive skin and am extremely particular about who I trust with my face and eyebrows. For years, Amy was the only person I trusted with my threading, and the results have always been great. Because my skin is so sensitive, threading can sometimes be uncomfortable, so I was especially grateful that on my most recent visit, Amy was very gentle and made the experience more comfortable than usual. Recently, Amy wasn't available, so I reluctantly decided to have Humera do my brows, and I'm so glad I did! She was incredibly gentle, careful and precise. Humera and Nazir, who manages the salon, also encouraged me to try brow tinting for the first time. Nazir gave me a small discount to try it and offered suggestions for next time. I loved the results and am so happy to have found someone else there I can completely trust with my threading. Marielena has been doing my hair for years, and she is wonderful! She's incredibly talented and really knows what she's doing. I trust her completely--I can sit in her chair, let her do her thing and know I'll be happy with the results. Having a hairstylist you can trust that much is priceless, and she is one of the reasons I've continued coming back all these years. After about 10 years, Amy's is still my go-to for my hair and threading. I've built a lot of trust with the people I see there, and that's what keeps me coming back.

My hairdresser Krystle is as always amazing. I would be totally grey if not for her. Lol and her prices are more than fair. My husband also goes to her. Would highly recommend Krystle. The bathroom was clean and tidy. They also sterilized between each client. The people that were working there were all warm and friendly they were obviously happy to be back at work. The parking was no problem plenty of spaces. Check this place out! They are clean and following Covid19 regulations!

My husband, son and daughter in law gifted me a Day at the…read morespa. Allure is close by so it was a perfect spot to pick as the reviews were good. I picked the most convenient day for me and proceeded to book massage, facial, manicure and pedicure in that order. I did understand that the massage was going to be a special booking as it was usually her day off but it was arranged for to come in special for me which I greatly appreciated. When I arrived I found out the facial was booked before the massage which was not what was originally scheduled so thing had to be rearranged so the facial could be done after the massage! That really is the proper order! Unfortunately the ManiPedi had to go first! Not perfect, but no big deal. This just postponed things for an hour, once again, no big deal. To my surprise the Manicure was for one hour and so was the Pedicure! Really! I have been doing them for more years than I would like to admit and both can be done well in an hour. Neither one does not require that long to get a basic treatment. Nails were fine but in my opinion was drawn out. Mind you, once again, nothing special was done. I didn't even have nail polish to remove. The pedicure was equally a drawn out process. Everywhere I have previously gone have worked on my callous and scrubbed My heel with a pumice pad. Not here. My nails were fine but attention to detail, not so much. I paid a higher price than I usually do because I wanted a fuller spa day. Now on to the better part of my experience. The massage was delightful. The stretching and massaging my tired body was relaxing, an hour goes way too quickly. The kinks were straightened out! The facial was equally wonderful. I felt my skin was handled properly and I finished with a glowing and smiling face. In my opinion, Allure is perfect for massages and facials but manicures and pedicures not so much. I am sadly torn between a 3 1/2 and 4 star rating
