I love this place. I have come here on and off for two years. I live 45 minutes away and make the drive to go here. I have tried waxing, lamination, and other salons, and this one is superior to them. The owner and her staff are friendly and busy. Don't come, not expecting to wait. The owner is very flexible; if you are running late or need to reschedule, she does her best to accommodate. At first, I didn't particularly appreciate the long wait, even with an appointment, but you get used to it. It feels less now, and more often than not, I get in and out quickly. There is a learning curve if you have never gotten threading done before. There is a way for you to hold your eyebrows with your hand, but the owner will let you know how to do it. Also, a tongue placement is needed with your upper lip threading, which at first is odd to experience but makes sense afterward. I also purchase my eyebrow pencil from them and find their pricing reasonable. You can book with them online. I have only gone to the Pompano location. Eye Brow Threading and Tint My favorite services to get done. More often, I do just threading. Recently, I started threading my chin and upper lip hair and have found Rupa does an excellent job. Eye Lash I tried it once, and it was a very painful experience. My eyes burned the entire time. Afterward, I liked how it looked but could not bear the experience again. Overall, it is an excellent establishment for eyebrow threading. I cannot speak to most other services as I have not experienced them. With that, if you need of eyebrow shaping and waxing isn't for you, then I HIGHLY recommend this place! read more

Ten out of ten recommend for eyelash extensions. I love the way the owner customizes the lash length and shape to accentuate my eyes. It's so relaxing I fell asleep lol. Made an appointment for a brow tint, but ended up getting my brows threaded too. I have never gotten my brows tinted or threaded so I was a bit nervous. However, based on the reviews and the asssurance from Rupa I decided to give it a go. So pleased with the results. I was fearful my eyebrows would come out looking uneven. I've been going to Threading and more for years. Rupa always does an excellent job and the service is great. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is not a spa experience so if you want that, go elsewhere. This was my second time there after I had a reaction to the glue. The owner said she would use a sensitive glue and that helped. There's one person who works in the shop primarily, and so she will answer the phone while she's giving you your service. I was booked in for an eyelash extension. For the entire time she was doing my eyelashes, she made or answered phone calls. She also decided to service a late customer right in the middle of my service. When it comes to the actual application, she leans her hands all over your face, and when I mentioned that I noticed she hadn't washed her hands in between clients or when I first came in, she got very defensive and made a big deal about using hand wipes while I was there. (I couldn't tell what she did to clean her hands as my eyes had to remain shut; I heard a lot of rubbing so who knows?). I never saw or heard her physically go and wash her hands between clients or after touching the phones while I was there and she does not wear gloves or a face mask. She breathes right in your face. And lastly, there are giant black flies that crawled on me while I was getting my service done. All in all, a mediocre experience and I don't think I'll be back. read more

I decided to try eyebrow threading for a second time after many years since my first time in a different place in Boca. This was a much different experience. Sam helped me reshape my eyebrows and made my upper lip feel smooth like butter. It's been about a week and my eyebrows have needed very minimal tweeting. My upper lip is still hairless and smooth. I also got a eyebrow tint, which I really loved at the time but it really didn't last as long as I was promised. I did it so that I could go on my vacation a week later and not have to worry about makeup or drawing in my eyebrows at all. I was told that it would last about 2 weeks, at the very least until my vacation. I haven't even gone on my vacation yet and the tint is gone. It faded and went away by day 3. That was disappointing otherwise I would've given this place 5 stars. The shape is still good but I definitely will need to fill them in. I would recommend the tint only if you were going to an event or something very soon. Otherwise I would only recommend the threading. The pricing was reasonable. $30 for the eyebrow threading and tint and then $12 for the lip threading. read more

Worst eyebrow threading of my life. I had thick eyebrows that needed cleaning up, instead she took half my eyebrows off. I'm PO right now and wish I never tried this place. Ended up paying $18 to have my eyebrows destroyed. Terrible experience. Hopefully my eyebrows grow back the way they were and I'm not left with messed up eyebrows for the rest of my life.
