I have always been extremely hesitant to have facials or anything which requires the use of products on my skin as I have very sensitive skin & am allergic to ingredients commonly used in skin products. But it wasn't long until I felt very comfortable with Sam & trusted in her knowledge of skin care and the products she uses. We have had multiple conversations over the years about what services and products are going to be the best for me & I trust Sam implicitly. And I have never regretted any of those decisions. From the moment you walk into her salon you know you are in a special place. Sam has personally decorated it to be a welcoming & relaxing environment. You quickly realize that Sam is not just interested in your skin care, she's interested in your well-being. The lighting, the music, her soft approach, gentle touch and personalized service combined with her extensive knowledge & experience in the field of skin care just naturally flow into giving her clients a wonderful self-care experience which is way beyond skin deep! My most recent two visits I had the pleasure of having a facial and then the use of the O2 dome which increases oxygenation to your face. Sam also makes sure to instruct her clients in breathing techniques which really have made a difference for me and I am now incorporating them into my daily routine and I can tell I am not carrying as much stress & tightness in my chest as I did previously. Sam is continually learning new techniques and passing on her knowledge to her clients because she genuinely cares about each one as an individual. If you're looking for a truly top of the line experience where you walk out feeling that not only does your face/body look and feel better, but your soul does too, then look no further, Sam is the one you've been looking for! You won't regret your decision!

I wouldn't trust anybody but Bonnie and Zaina Salon with my hair. I originally found Bonnie on…read moreYelp. I've been there and done it all before we met-- having gone gray in high school, I did box dye, highlights, balayage, a perm, straighteners, and have worn it short, longer, curly, pin straight, and everything in between-- and never have I felt so listened to and cared for by my stylist. New to the area, I'd tried at least three salons with most disastrous and overly priced results. Then I came here. For about two years, I've made appointments with Bonnie every two months. I always leave with healthy-looking hair that looks even better than I'd imagined. Of course, I have worked with dozens of stylists in the past, but none of them have been as creative, honest, and fair as Bonnie. Most recently, we've been doing Keratin treatments; Bonnie has helped to transform my dry, broken hair (bad perm...) into long, shiny waves with subtle hints of color that elicit compliments on a daily basis. I also appreciate that she's straightforward with me about what my hair needs. She doesn't push unnecessary additional services on me, and because she is so warm and hilarious (a bonus), Zaina has become one of my favorite places to spend a Saturday. I view appointments with Bonnie as an investment in myself that's priceless. She remembers everything about my hair journey (what I like and dislike, what we did to it last time, etc.) and works with me to create a style that's affordable, maintainable, beautiful, and "me." I can't recommend her eye for color highly enough. I also have her do my eyebrows, and this is the best they've ever looked. Yes, Bonnie is excellent at what she does, and yes, I'm satisfied with the end result, but I return to Bonnie because she does exactly what a stylist is supposed to: she makes the Pinterest pictures I show her possible, and she's proven she's someone I can trust with my hair :)

I've been going to Amy's Beauty Salon for about 10 years for threading and hair services. I have…read morevery sensitive skin and am extremely particular about who I trust with my face and eyebrows. For years, Amy was the only person I trusted with my threading, and the results have always been great. Because my skin is so sensitive, threading can sometimes be uncomfortable, so I was especially grateful that on my most recent visit, Amy was very gentle and made the experience more comfortable than usual. Recently, Amy wasn't available, so I reluctantly decided to have Humera do my brows, and I'm so glad I did! She was incredibly gentle, careful and precise. Humera and Nazir, who manages the salon, also encouraged me to try brow tinting for the first time. Nazir gave me a small discount to try it and offered suggestions for next time. I loved the results and am so happy to have found someone else there I can completely trust with my threading. Marielena has been doing my hair for years, and she is wonderful! She's incredibly talented and really knows what she's doing. I trust her completely--I can sit in her chair, let her do her thing and know I'll be happy with the results. Having a hairstylist you can trust that much is priceless, and she is one of the reasons I've continued coming back all these years. After about 10 years, Amy's is still my go-to for my hair and threading. I've built a lot of trust with the people I see there, and that's what keeps me coming back.

But when you actually get inside and are taken back to where your going to have your service or services, it's completely different. I really enjoyed both my 60 minute prenatal massage and 60 minute facial with Larisa. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I've had a few prenatal massages before and this has been the best one yet. Besides the extractions being somewhat painful for a few minutes, the facial ended up feeling rejuvenating. Both services were done in the same room, which made it great as I didn't have to get up and switch rooms. The one downside is that the room I was getting my massage and facial in, was close to the girls at the front desk. A few times during my appointment, I was able to clearly hear their conversations with other guests. But as my prenatal massage and facial were wonderful with Larisa, I'll be sure to make another appointment before I deliver. Just keep in mind, this isn't a fancy spa. There aren't any locker rooms so you won't be offered any robes or slippers.
